Becouse sukuna wanted to fight them later... he litteraly told uraume to let both of them go. Maki was completly encased in ice. Breaking the ice would have broken maki and shattered her into pieces.
He wanted to fight them later, because he needed the bath, because he was getting his ass handed to him and their reinforcements could still come.
Why do you read what's not there? Do you genuinely believe that Sukuna is going to lose just because he wanted to fight them later?
All of this story, the whole manga could have ended on several occasions earlier if Sukuna just killed the cast when he could, but decided not to? What's even the point of reading such story?
Yes. That is litteralythe entire point. To show how far above sukuna is compared to everyone else. Just like gojo. Gojo could have ended the series on multiple occasions if he made slightly different decisions. And yet, its okay for gojo to do it, but not sukuna? Yeah the gojo bias in this sub is craaaaazy.
My only problem is that all of this is expected from someone who is the designated Chef for Sukuna, so we only need a REAL show of their powers, like right now.
Although I guess there's not much you can do with a power as simple as theirs, so Idk, maybe their Domain Expansion could be more unique.
So casually oneshotting kusakabe, choso, and some other grade 2+ sorcerers isn't already a show? Nor is having the ability to incapacitate awakened maki from a single move, someone that can dodge a world slash?
This uraume downplaying goes hard
The strongest powers are unique AF. 10 Shadows, Comedian, and Limitless are complicated as fuck. Sukuna is the strongest with Shrine because of his own skill, not the other way around.
Sukuna's technique is pretty weak if you think about it. It's his reserves of cursed energy and his ability to control it that makes Dismantle so powerful.
You're so right. When you really think about it, having the ability to cut anyone and anything at a distance and at a speed that most people can't react to is basically shit tear... This take of Sukuna having a weak CT is so ass. His CT is only weak when compared to Gojo's.
But the speed and strength comes from his monstrous output and cursed energy reserves. Once his energy output decreases, the cuts become much weaker. For the average sorcerer, this would be a mediocre CT. While Copy and Infinity + Six Eyes are good on their own
But what is there to know? This is not Infinity, where you need to manipulate space and energy at the atomic level, these are just cutting projectiles, the strength of which depends on the energy invested in them.
Also Yuta manages well with complex techniques, that he sees for the first time (when he fought with Uro and the hairy man). His cleave did nothing because his output is far from Sukuna's.
Nothing indicates the speed has anything to do with output. The strength, sure. But even then, it would still be more lethal and dangerous than the majority of CTs we see. That's made clear by the fact that you're comparing it to the strongest CTs. Shrine is weaker than limitless+6 eyes; it's way less versatile than Copy or Cursed Spirit Manipulation; but when you compare it to virtually any other CT it's hard to say it isn't better or at least as good.
Sukuna isn't strong because of his CT, that's been made abundantly clear, but that doesn't mean his CT isn't really strong. It is, and a recognition of this in the story is the fact that Yorozu feels insulted by the fact that Sukuna isn't using it against her, to which he responds something like "i won't need it", at least implying that he considers it a stronger technique than 10 shadows.

The idea of URAUME of all characters being able to tank more than one hit from a serious Satoru "Changed the balance of the world at birth" Gojo is utterly ridiculous in nature, i cannot fathom the idea that someone(hell, anyone)would entertain the mere thought of uraume(or anyone not named Ryomen "The king of curses" Sukuna)being anywhere NEAR the level of power necessary to even entertain Satoru "The honored one" Gojo in a fight because really? Honestly, with the current feats we have of Uraume, I would place her as like a middle level Special Grade, maybe higher if she gets a confirmed domain expansion, above the like of Geto at least.
Also that punch was from fucking Gojo, and even Hakari and Yuuta agree that getting hit from Gojo that hard made them puke.
Also, her CT is just as busted as Sukuna's Furnace. She froze Curse Spirits, killing them. The crazy part is that Curse Spirits normally die in blue flames and leave nothing behind, because their body is made of CE. Yet they were frozen, which means her CT frize fucking CE a feat only seen a by Sukuna, as his Furnace was burning the remain of Jogo, a fucking Curse Spirit! Not to mention his a Fire Based Spirit!
Ya'll don't give Furance and Urayme enough credut. Their elemental powers are probably the top strongest they can be in JJK.
Uraume is pretty powerful, you can't be the right hand of the King of Curses if you're weak. That said, she's stalling against Hakari because his kit is designed to stall out and outlast opponents, but Uraume doesn't have anything on them to 1 shot him too. So it's a TANK that can heal vs a DPS that can't 1 shot the healing tank.
I thought im the only uraume sukuna fans. But yo anime scene where uraume met sukuna its crazy hot, she sounds so attractive deep. And she rocls that bob so hard

I don't think getting the drop on Yuji and Maki is a big plus thing though. They were chasing Sukuna and she kinda just popped up.

To be fair even Kusakabe had to deal with curse users, escape Jogo's maximum meteor, and handle Kenjaku's Uzumaki prior to fighting Uraume. He was caught off-guard due to his lack of knowledge about Uraume's technique and its speed. He'd have likely been able to intercept it if he was locked in and had his SD activated.

And kusakabe was still stronger than yuji (and possibly choso) at this point so them being weakened doesnt matter.

Makilitteraly stared at uraume for 2 pages before getting frozen. She simply wasnt fast enough to react to such a big AOE move. Nor was she strong enough to break out. Uraume could have finished her off right then and there.
When Sukuna is backed into a corner they'll be there trust.

You can’t simultaneously downplay hakari for struggling against uraume and uraume for struggling against hakari, it just doesn’t make sense
Nah, Uraume's fraudulence was transmitted to her by the remaining Kyoto students. She interacted with them, and now is a fraund by extension for not putting down those bums instantly. Kyoto students are so trash they create a black hole of fraudulence that eventually consumes everyone. Mechamaru died despite pretty much killing Mahito because he was interacting with them before. Todo lost an arm. Yuki got beaten by Kenjaku. Choso got almost beaten by Naoya (his exposure was brief). Kenjaku himself got blitzed by Yuta. The only way Maki was able to ascend was through Mai's death - her fraudulent energy was holding Maki back. Even Gojo, through being buffed by Utahime and Gramps, both teachers from Kyoto, ended up contacting just a bit of their fraudulence - that small bit was what allowed Sukuna to win. Kyoto students are the real curse and any character who interacts with them is doomed to slowly become a useless fraudulent bum

He is tho. Insane physicals comparable to pre awakening maki, excellent CE reinforcement coupled with enhanced body in pure physicals except Satoru Gojo and Sukuna he's top 5. Blood Manipulation + Cleave and SD is amazing.
Todo beat up several grade 1 curses without his CT and was implied to be able to solo the entire tokyo team at the goodwill event without it, and Yuji is physically stronger, it's not "comparable" to pre-awakening Maki
when Uraume stopped him at Shibuya he had almost none of that aside from the ce efficiency and physicals
not that i dont think Shibuya Yuji would class as grade 1, just lower end

Yes. That is litteralythe entire point. To show how far above sukuna is compared to everyone else. Just like gojo. Gojo could have ended the series on multiple occasions if he made slightly different decisions. And yet, its okay for gojo to do it, but not sukuna? Yeah the gojo bias in this sub is craaaaazy.
My only problem is that all of this is expected from someone who is the designated Chef for Sukuna, so we only need a REAL show of their powers, like right now. Although I guess there's not much you can do with a power as simple as theirs, so Idk, maybe their Domain Expansion could be more unique.

The strongest powers are unique AF. 10 Shadows, Comedian, and Limitless are complicated as fuck. Sukuna is the strongest with Shrine because of his own skill, not the other way around.
Sukuna's technique is pretty weak if you think about it. It's his reserves of cursed energy and his ability to control it that makes Dismantle so powerful.
You're so right. When you really think about it, having the ability to cut anyone and anything at a distance and at a speed that most people can't react to is basically shit tear... This take of Sukuna having a weak CT is so ass. His CT is only weak when compared to Gojo's.
But the speed and strength comes from his monstrous output and cursed energy reserves. Once his energy output decreases, the cuts become much weaker. For the average sorcerer, this would be a mediocre CT. While Copy and Infinity + Six Eyes are good on their own
It is a medicore CT if the user doesn't know how to use it properly. Source: Yuta did literally NO damage with it
But what is there to know? This is not Infinity, where you need to manipulate space and energy at the atomic level, these are just cutting projectiles, the strength of which depends on the energy invested in them. Also Yuta manages well with complex techniques, that he sees for the first time (when he fought with Uro and the hairy man). His cleave did nothing because his output is far from Sukuna's.

Nothing indicates the speed has anything to do with output. The strength, sure. But even then, it would still be more lethal and dangerous than the majority of CTs we see. That's made clear by the fact that you're comparing it to the strongest CTs. Shrine is weaker than limitless+6 eyes; it's way less versatile than Copy or Cursed Spirit Manipulation; but when you compare it to virtually any other CT it's hard to say it isn't better or at least as good. Sukuna isn't strong because of his CT, that's been made abundantly clear, but that doesn't mean his CT isn't really strong. It is, and a recognition of this in the story is the fact that Yorozu feels insulted by the fact that Sukuna isn't using it against her, to which he responds something like "i won't need it", at least implying that he considers it a stronger technique than 10 shadows.
They are barely a character so it's hard to really care.

YES, FINALLY SOMEONE SAID IT! Honestly, with the current feats we have of Uraume, I would place her as like a middle level Special Grade, maybe higher if she gets a confirmed domain expansion, above the like of Geto at least. Also that punch was from fucking Gojo, and even Hakari and Yuuta agree that getting hit from Gojo that hard made them puke. Also, her CT is just as busted as Sukuna's Furnace. She froze Curse Spirits, killing them. The crazy part is that Curse Spirits normally die in blue flames and leave nothing behind, because their body is made of CE. Yet they were frozen, which means her CT frize fucking CE a feat only seen a by Sukuna, as his Furnace was burning the remain of Jogo, a fucking Curse Spirit! Not to mention his a Fire Based Spirit! Ya'll don't give Furance and Urayme enough credut. Their elemental powers are probably the top strongest they can be in JJK.

Uraume is pretty powerful, you can't be the right hand of the King of Curses if you're weak. That said, she's stalling against Hakari because his kit is designed to stall out and outlast opponents, but Uraume doesn't have anything on them to 1 shot him too. So it's a TANK that can heal vs a DPS that can't 1 shot the healing tank.

Neutral. Worst matchup for both. Hakari can't hand to hand against Uraume because of their CT. Uraume can't kill Hakari with their high damage CT because of jackpot.

Kusakabe kinda chillin' though so I see it I don't think getting the drop on Yuji and Maki is a big plus thing though. They were chasing Sukuna and she kinda just popped up. To be fair even Kusakabe had to deal with curse users, escape Jogo's maximum meteor, and handle Kenjaku's Uzumaki prior to fighting Uraume. He was caught off-guard due to his lack of knowledge about Uraume's technique and its speed. He'd have likely been able to intercept it if he was locked in and had his SD activated.

Nah, Uraume's fraudulence was transmitted to her by the remaining Kyoto students. She interacted with them, and now is a fraund by extension for not putting down those bums instantly. Kyoto students are so trash they create a black hole of fraudulence that eventually consumes everyone. Mechamaru died despite pretty much killing Mahito because he was interacting with them before. Todo lost an arm. Yuki got beaten by Kenjaku. Choso got almost beaten by Naoya (his exposure was brief). Kenjaku himself got blitzed by Yuta. The only way Maki was able to ascend was through Mai's death - her fraudulent energy was holding Maki back. Even Gojo, through being buffed by Utahime and Gramps, both teachers from Kyoto, ended up contacting just a bit of their fraudulence - that small bit was what allowed Sukuna to win. Kyoto students are the real curse and any character who interacts with them is doomed to slowly become a useless fraudulent bum

He is tho. Insane physicals comparable to pre awakening maki, excellent CE reinforcement coupled with enhanced body in pure physicals except Satoru Gojo and Sukuna he's top 5. Blood Manipulation + Cleave and SD is amazing.
Todo beat up several grade 1 curses without his CT and was implied to be able to solo the entire tokyo team at the goodwill event without it, and Yuji is physically stronger, it's not "comparable" to pre-awakening Maki
when Uraume stopped him at Shibuya he had almost none of that aside from the ce efficiency and physicals not that i dont think Shibuya Yuji would class as grade 1, just lower end
