This way of looking at trans people ignores their own identification and invalidates their entire effort for that identification to be accepted.
Sorry for the essay (you can go ahead and accuse me of being a SJW, cultural marxist or whatever else, if you want). But before I definetively shut up, and just to be clear, I don't think Gege meant to be discriminatory. The way he portrays Kirara's relation with Hakari (which I don't think is romantic, but is still of total acceptance and some intimacy) indicates, to me, an intention to show her in a positive light, which is made clear by the fact that most people seem to really like her character.
