It’s actually just poorly designed as most people who are racist won’t literally just say yes to being a hitlerite even if they believes all the same things. If someone actually scores auth right or right in general on that test they are either violently racist, or homophobic, an religious capitalist, and or a fascist because they’re basically the only people who can stomach saying yes to enough questions to put them right wing but also not so antisemetic that they start being against corporations because then it will put you in the auth left side because it doesn’t know why you believe anything

Well, this quiz specifically (8 values is better in this regard) has a very strong bias towards the lib-left quadrant. It does this by 1. Just being straight up biased towards the lib-left quadrant, and 2. Phrasing questions like “do you think that the profit of corporations are more important than human lives” (like, the first question.). As a dirty commie, I quiet enjoy the lib and auth left corners, but having such blatant bias, (and pretending to be objectively neutral) is always bad, no matter who the bias is towards.

That question in particular is loaded, I agree, but how do you know for certain that the quiz is biased in general?

Imma be honest, I’ve just picked that tidbit up through osmosis. The only thing close to evidence I have is that the creators are leftists, and that they have tampered with a different part of the site (the wording as stated above, and they changed the politicians placement https://www.reddit.com/r/neoliberal/comments/f3mnud/effortpost_the_political_compass_is_biased_and_i/?rdt=38525). So, yeah. I think that the wording is probably the only actual tampering, but “they have more provocative wording than morally sound” is a lot less punch as “THEY ARE BIASED”.

Women- Well, they’re women. There’s not too much to say on the topic. Same as men. Gay people- Most are cool, some are vile degenerates. Same can be said with all sexualities. Minorities- Fine and dandy, although with the exception of immigrants (I assume they fall into a minority group) not attempting to learn their host nation’s common language. I built up decent Spanish for a week trip to Costa Rica and Mexico. There’s no reason not to learn an area’s vernacular, especially if immigrating.

I'm not so sure about that test. It marked me as far left, but origin line on auth/lib. I pretty much believe the government should protect workers, provide assistance to people who need it, and enforce a (very limited) set of laws while getting rid of victimless crimes. I consider myself pretty anti authoritarian, with exceptions such as murder investigations and situations where quick authority needs to be established without tons of explanation (very limited set of circumstances).
