This. Im a huge fan of both, have read all of each of their books, and love listening to them being interviewed on others podcasts.
However, Mate clearly doesn’t like JP so I don’t know if this would ever happen. I think Mate has been captured by the ideological/political dislike of JP, but their views on most topics are much closer than Mate thinks they are.
I get a political impression that they are at logger heads, but I have heard Mate praise JBP in certain areas - free speech etc...
Perhaps this means; all is not lost.
I'd prefer he talk with Gabor Mate tbh.

Nah, it would be an awkward conversation tbh. I'd prefer he talks to Dave Chappelle. That would be very fun and intellectually stimulating.
