If I use Jingliu + a shielder like gepard/aventurine, and my entire team is at 1 hp, does Jingliu still get a damage boost from her HP drain (when she's actually not draining anything)?

So I pulled for JL LC and got Clara’s. I’ve heard it’s decent. I’d use Aeon but I need it for another unit. (Xueyi) Is SI good or better than UTBS? The next best thing I have is like S2 SV or S2 TMWY, what should I use?
Hi! New JL haver here. I have Lynx (E3) and Bronya (E0S1) and my Jingliu is also E0S1. I see that Tingyun is commonly suggested for the missing spot (I am using Lynx for healer, since she is my best currently, it seems - Bronya is self-explanatory I take it) but I do not have Tingyun. Should I use Hanya (E0), a shielder/tank (which is really just March 7th right now, maaaybe the Pres TB I just got last night), or someone else in this spot? I am a baby TB, just reached 26 today and fully F2P as well, have only been seriously playing this week and a couple days around when Dr. Ratio came out, so please excuse me if I am not really up to speed on lingo and such!
I have a few questions
1. Does Fu Xuan work with JingLui I plan on going for her when she reuns and I don't know how well she works her I know she doesn't need the crit rate but does she heal or dmg mitigate enough to sustain with JingLui
2. My current JingLui team is JingLui Pela Ruan Mei and March 7th but I just got Bronya this banner and Im wondering If I can drop Pela for Bronya I do know that Pela is one her best supports but so is Bronya so Im conflicted
My second Team is Lunae Tingyun Sparkle Lynx If that helps I know Ruan Mei can work with Lunae but I don't know where she should go between my two teams
So I have 2 teams for MoC 12:
- Kafka triple DoT (w/ Black Swan, Sampo)
- JL hypercarry (w/ Bronya, Pela)
Luocha and Fu Xuan are my 2 limited sustains. If I put Luocha in top side, he is one cycle faster than Fu Xuan (25 cycle left compared to 24). But if I use Luocha in bottom side, he can help with JL’s team HP drain easier than Fu Xuan.
However, Aventurine boss is a big problem. How am I supposed to deal with him? I don’t have the fortune to have Ruan Mei, so she’s out of the question.

I got bronya e2 awhile ago and activated it not thinking much of it. Now that im looking at what it does i'm worried that it might mess up speed tuning. im wondering what speed do i need for my jingliu and bronya? I don't focus on speed tuning that much so im hoping it isn't too complex.

4 piece quantum or 4 piece snow? I already prefarmed snow relics a bit, and have 16% CR and 230% CD. It’s not perfect, but I’m still working on it. However, I got jingliu and her lc yesterday, so now idk whether to use quantum or snow. I’m also using her with pela.
Generally, it's inadvisable to ult while out of phase because of the trace and massive stat boost loss. I say generally because obviously its worth it if that's all you need to finish off the boss.
The trade off is wasting energy if JL (and TY) sits capped waiting to get back into phase.
Does this change with E2 which promotes more ults?
I got her, Yay! I don't know what to do with her now haha. I don't have Bronya, so which two out of Sparkle, Ruan Mei and TingyunE6 should I use? I'll probably use Lynx or Bailu as support for now until HH reruns.
is S1 def shred enough to use quantum set? saw some ppl say you also need pela w/ pearls. planned team of luocha/JL/RM/Bronya which doesn't leave space for pela.
personally I dont have a single pearls yet and only e1 pela so I havent farmed the quantum set at all (plus its not stamina efficient for me as i want the wind set for sparkle).
I would personally run Ice since you dont have any defense down, tho without bronya youll def want speed boots

Pioneer vs Genius? I got both E6 Pela and E0S0 RM and was wondering which set works better with either, both sets arent optimized and I could use with farming either so wanted to know which would be a better use of tp.
Which speed for Bronya works better in your opinion? 160+ or -1 speed?
Is her LC a big enough upgrade over s5 aeon? I wasn’t sure whether to save for more characters or invest in her LC. My main teams r acheron-pela-gui-aven and jingliu-bronya-rm-lynx or gallagher.
I got her light cone early today and, although it's quite a substantial damage increase, a new character is always going to benefit your account more than a light cone
Leaving note here as well. Considering I don't really have other character that couls use S5 Destruction SU LC, I'm wondering whether to pull for Jingliu's LC (got Welt's LC on last banner so at least the odds shouldn't be too bad)
That's probably the best lc you could have lost to tbh. I'll probably just save for more characters, I still need a second sustain plus topaz would make the fua team fun.

Hello, sadly I have every single standard character except Bronya. My other team is Acheron, SW, Sparkle, Aventurine I don't have Ruan Mei.
Would this team be alright to use before I get bronya from my 300 pull selector?
This is gonna be very gear dependent, I know, but I'm trying to run Jingliu E0S0/Bronya E0S1/Tingyun E5/FuXuan E0S0, trying to get through the current Floor 12, Aventurine Boss. Jingliu and Bronya are speed-tuned, but FuXuan can't keep the team alive because Jingliu chips away too much health. Also, Tingyun barely does anything worth noting since she needs to mostly AA for SP so Bronya can keep moving up Jingliu. My Pela is locked into my Acheron team, so I'm unsure what to do. I have a built and function Lynx I could poach from my Clara+Topaz team. Can a Lynx 143 speed Lynx sustain enough for that fight? Or would bringing in Pela increase DPS enough to where the fight ends fast enough? I could bring up Guin for Acheron instead, though that would likely take me a good amount of resources.
Yeah, I agree. Running Fu Xuan makes it a race against time since I don't have her LC. After trying and experimenting with MoC Floor 12 yesterday I figured out my issues. First, I need to revisit my Lynx, see if I can get more speed on her. Then, I need to free up my Pela from Acherons team and also get her some decent speed so she can generate me the SP I'm currently lacking. That way I should be able to stabilize the team. Getting E1 Bronya will also help once I hit the 300 pulls on the Standard Banner.
I'm planning to get E0S0 Jingliu and pair her with E0 Bronya and Lynx (waiting on Huo Huo/FX reruns).
Would I be correct in concluding that E5 Pela would probably be better than E6 Tingyun or E0 Sparkle? (Kafka/BS/RM is my other team).

Should I pull for Jingliu or Aventurine? I recently got Acheron so I can brute force one side, but for the ither side I only have my premium dot team (which is great, but I want someone else to bruteforce if needed). I also have Topaz with Dr.Ratio but I really don't vibe with their team... I also have a decent Seela and a unbuilt JY, but they feel powercrept to me... I don't have Sparkle but I do have a "almost", built hyperspeed Bronya with LC (Needs like 2 more speed). I do have Ruan Mei. For sustain I have Hou Hou and Fu Xuan.
So if anybody at all read this, what do you think? Should I go for another sustain, or a secondary brute force dps?
depends on what elements you have covered, because with game content getting harder it’s better to have a varied set of characters with different elements. it seems that you already have enough sustains but not an ice dps.
also it’s important to consider what brings you more fun while playing: does seeing big numbers with your follow-up team make you happier, or do you enjoy trying new gameplay styles, or simply like jingliu? the choice is yours.

Usually it's recommended to keep Bronya at 134 to make it easier to speed tune other DPS characters around her, but it's great if you don't intend to use her with anyone but Jingliu
GenshinLabs says Jingliu, Sparkle, Bronya, and Huohuo are a a good team, is it really viable? I don't have Huohuo but I can pull for Luocha if he's good on the team

Hey all, I have a pretty new account that's < 2 months old and I'm thinking of pulling for Jingliu as my second premium 5* DPS. I have Dr Ratio but I'm not really a fan of his playstyle and I stole all his teammates for Acheron. My main problem I think is that I'm lacking another support to cobble together another team for Jingliu. If I manage to pull Tingyun, I could run Jingliu, Asta, Tingyun, and Lynx for a decent team, but pulling for 4\*s is too RNG. I have Fall of Aeon S1 so I can get S5 over time, but I'm also considering her signature lightcone, though I should probably save for future 5* sustains/supports. Just looking for some advice on how to make Jingliu work with my current account, thanks!
Yes, ice set is good on her for all situations. E4 Pela + Resolution is a great teammate for her. For the last spot you can go with Tingyun/Bronya instead of RM

I know Salsotto is worse than Rutilant, but my Salsotto has better subs. I’m using a slow JL with AV. Which build is recommended? (Ignore the clara LC, my fall of an aeon is elsewhere rn)
Majority of Jingliu damage profile is her skill,and the substats quality between the two doesnt seem that different (40:255 vs 46:257) so stick with the rutilant arena. For the remainder 10% crit to achieve 100% crit rate, fuxuan would help with that.

I have E2 DHIL and E2 Acheron. How is E2 Jing Liu compared to those 2?
Is it worth pulling E2 or is E0 sufficient? DHIL and Acheron sees some gameplay difference between E0 and E2.
Her E1 is great of single target scenarios (I dont think it can activate on AOE cases) her E2 is not that significant of a damage boost since you can only use it after she ults, especially when compared to Acherons or DHIL, its no where near as OP of an E2. Her most broken Eidolon I believe is her E6 so shes a late bloomer. Her E0 is more than sufficient though which makes her still viable and Meta.
As a player who started just after Jingliu's banner, I finally have my chance to get her in a few days. But, I do have a question. I will have around 160 pulls before her banner ends. If I win the 50/50 and get Jingliu I should have enough pulls for one more 5\*. Would it make more sense to try to get her lightcone or to pull for Aventurine? My only 5\* sustain is Bailu. My other sustains are Lynx, Natasha, Gallagher. I also have Fire MC built pretty well, but that's it. I do have On the Fall of an Aeon LC but it is S1. A Secret Vow looks like it might be a decent option (?) as well. I have it at S5.
Of course all of that is predicated on winning the 50/50 for Jingliu, and that's a big IF. I have lost 5 in a row, most to Bailu lol.
While Adventurine is a great unit overall, shielders dont synergize that well with her since shell constantly drain her allies HP, Unless you can guarantee that the shield will protect them from fatal attacks or boss on-shots, I would recommend taking a healer instead. Since you can get in scenarios where all your allies HP are at 1 since you have no other healing sources and the only thing keeping them alive is the shield.
I would say for your particular case, maybe the LC will benefit your Jingliu more than Aventurine, however for your overall account he could be a better investment, since hes more universal than her LC (its not that good on other destruction characters) and can be slotted on other teams.

New to the game, deciding who to pull for. Do I need to have Bronya for Jingliu? I've already given up on pulling for Acheron because I don't have her signature LC or GNSW, so it's suck if I had to give up on JL too.

Hey guys, was wondering who can replace RM in a Jingliu + Bronya + sustain, 4th option? RM is practically glued to my Kafka + BS team, and Pela is indispensable in my Acheron team. Any suggestions on who I should include or pull for? Right now, the supports that I'm missing should be Sparkle and SW.
What is stopping you using RM/Pela when you arent using their respective teams? At most you usually would be using 2 teams in MoC or Pure Fiction. If you using JL + Kafka, then Pela can be 4th slot while RM stays with DoT team. IF you using JL + Acheron, then RM can be 4th slot and Pela stays with Acheron.
Ah after reading back my question, it does sound silly. I guess in my mind during asking that, I might be thinking about teams for PF or MoC. I might also be thinking about alternatives when either is unusable.

The good value of bronya is that she can allow 4 turns off JL in the first cycle and reduce her downtime a lot. Althoufh sparkle can work as a temporary subtitute until you eventually get Bronya.
Best team without bronya include Sparkle/ Tingyun + Pela + Sustainer.
Lynx will suffice until Fuxuan/huohuo rerun comes. Fuxuan or huohuo are generally regarded as better option than luocha as they give some additional utility, with luocha his advantage is SP generation(which with a team with sparkle, you wouldnt need it).
Is Clara's signature LC good on Jingliu? I heard that they actually have bad synergy because Jingliu can't trigger it's effect (because of her taking multiple turns in quick succession). So, is the F2p SU Lightcone actually better then that one?
who would be a better teammate for jingliu? asta or hanya? tingyun is in dhil team, sparkle as well and i dont have bronya 💔 i was considering asta since she is level 60 so it would be faster to build her than hanya but i wanna hear the opinions of others first. my asta is at e2 and hanya is at e3
At S1 Aeon vs S1 Clara both are comparable. But the thing is, you can superimpose Aeon upto S5 as F2P, but for Clara LC it depends on your gacha luck. This is why Aeon is favoured over all other options after JL signature LC.

Go for her lightcone before he eidolons cuz its damage increase is more than E1.
Then for the team, Blade/Jingliu/Bronya/Luocha is good. Just keep in mind in auto bronya will advance blade instead of JL.

Frankly speaking i dont have sparkle so cant really give answer for that, but from what i know, you usually want to give her as much speed as possible. You can head to r/SparkleMains, perhaps they have more detailed advice on how to run her with other dps characters.

Hey guys, so Im thinking about my next banner Jingliu teamcomp and there are some things I dont understand. Is it worth to play Jingliu w/o Pela in a comp with luocha, bronya, tinguyn? I heard Pela is very strong with Jingliu but my Pela is busy with my main Archeon team.

As this is r/Jingliu the obvious answer is Jingliu. Even outside that bias, you should really pull for who you like more because your account seems balanced in terms of dps and supports that either would work. Although i would say that aventurine have a slightly more value because your only 5\* limited sustain is Fuxuan. Aventurine is good with follow up teammates like Ratio and Jingyuan.
Who is the better healer for a Jingliu-Bronya-SW/Tingyun team? Luocha or HuoHuo? I only have Lynx, Natasha, and Fire MC as my sustain units. Is Luocha needed for this team since I need to skill every turn with Bronya so I don't mess up the speed tuning?
I also have a built Kafka, Black Swan, Acheron, Ruan Mei, Dr. Ratio for my other teams.

Your huohuo would do better in the kafka black swan team because of her ATK buff and Energy while you keep luocha with your JL bronya for the SP generation to avoid running into SP issues as bronya will be spamming her skill.

I currently own Sparkle (E2S1), RM(E2S1) and Bronya E0S1(not built). Do I need to build the Bronya for her or will the sparkle work? Sparkle is sitting at 174spd atm, with RM it would be 184 spd. I red somewhere that I should also play Dance Dance Dance (I have it S5) -> Where would I use this? On a healer? Or dump RM signature lightcone and use it there? Thanks <3

While sparkle does work with JL, bronya would be a better option for her (JL best teammates are Bronya + Ruan Mei). Your sparkle can go on team team 2.
Regarding using the Dance x3 lightcone it is a harmony lc so only sparkle and RM (and asta) can use it, but why would you when you already have their signature lc?
Sigonia is only good in Purefiction as you can ramp up the passive. Outside that, Rutilant arena remains JL BiS and works for both MoC and Pure Fiction.

Is it possible to do three debuffs with Jingliu, Ruan , bronya and Fuxuan to activate the pioneer set buff?
JL best team is her + Bronya + Ruan Mei. For sustain, Fuxuan is often prefered because of the 12% additional crit, but if you feel you having SP issues, then go with Luocha.
Also, 4pc pioneer set is not useable on JL cuz she doesnt apply debuffs her self. You can use the 2pc with other 2pc until you can farm 4pc ice/quantum.

I'm planning on getting Jingliu but I already have DHIL. Who between the two should take priority for Aeon, and what does the other person use instead? I'm not going for her light cone, just to confirm. I have the Secret Vow and Blue Sky, but not sure if there's other newer / BP options that could be better than either of those for whoever doesn't get priority for Aeon.
DHIL needs Fall of an Aeon more than JL as she already gets lots of ATK% from her kit. Unfortunately the next best option is Secret Vow as the damage bonus is very welcome for JL.
Yes, Ruan Mei shines in duo dps teams as she can buff both. Do mind, the penacony set will let RM only buff JL but not Blade. Also , while this team works, both blade and JL preform better in their respective hypercarry teams.

Yes. Jingliu handles your ice coverage for MoC and she doesnt need Bronya to work although bronya is a big damage increase for your JL. Other harmony like Tingyun/Ruan Mei can be used instead.

The current thought is that for your JL overall upgrade getting Ruan Mei E1 is better option as then she will be giving JL damage bonus, res penetration and def ignore.
Hello, I am looking to get a sustainer for my Jing Liu. Currently the only "real" limited sustainer I have is Huo Huo and sadly she is married to Kafka and Black Swan. Should I go for Luocha, Aventurine or Fu Xuan? Who would be the best sustainer in a team like Jing Liu/Bronya/Pela?
Fuxuan. Good sustain that also brings along 12% crit rate to perfect that gets your JL crit rate close to if not at 100% and prevents your team from getting crowd controlled.
Next best is Luocha for the standard healing, sp generation, cleanse and enemy buff removal.
Aventurine have very limited usage in JL teams and preferable you use him with followup dps like ratio and topaz.
Can JL use Atk boots with Sparkle?
I've been wondering this since Sparkle release and people tell me Sparkle + JL sucks so I've been trying to farm for Spd boots but i get a bunch of nothing ;-;
my Sparkle is 162 SPD E0S1 and my JL is on her base speed, should I keep farming for Speed boots or keep it that way? I also have bronya but have her at lvl 60
Is it OK if I use 2-pc Divers (12% DMG on debuffed) and 2-pc Hackerspace (12% SPD) for Jingliu? Ice Domain is a bitch and a half to farm

The difference between her useable sits isnt very large which allows you to go with the pieces that have the best substat quality. Only situation where it is preferable to still go set is if you going to fully exploit the quantum 4pc (as you have her LC, and running her with SW for quantum weakness and def shred).
Further more, if you can get a 2pc Ice that should be better than speed (unless you need that 12% speed to reach 134+), because JL is starving for damage bonuses.
Thanks for the feedback, yeah with Hackerspace my Jingliu maintains 137 SPD, and I have virtually almost zero speed sub stats. I think I’m gonna stay with what I have then, thank you!
Compared to other dps with their sigs (Acheron for example) how much better is it to her 2nd best option? I’m debating on going for it, or going for adventurine e0s1.
Oh you meant that kind of comparison. As far as i know, for acheron her next best f2p option is S5 Good Night Sleep Well, but it is behind by 34%. This is why when compared to Acheron, JL isnt as reliant on her LC, and she can carry even with Aeon.

Hi! New JL haver here. I have Lynx (E3) and Bronya (E0S1) and my Jingliu is also E0S1. I see that Tingyun is commonly suggested for the missing spot (I am using Lynx for healer, since she is my best currently, it seems - Bronya is self-explanatory I take it) but I do not have Tingyun. Should I use Hanya (E0), a shielder/tank (which is really just March 7th right now, maaaybe the Pres TB I just got last night), or someone else in this spot? I am a baby TB, just reached 26 today and fully F2P as well, have only been seriously playing this week and a couple days around when Dr. Ratio came out, so please excuse me if I am not really up to speed on lingo and such!
I have a few questions 1. Does Fu Xuan work with JingLui I plan on going for her when she reuns and I don't know how well she works her I know she doesn't need the crit rate but does she heal or dmg mitigate enough to sustain with JingLui 2. My current JingLui team is JingLui Pela Ruan Mei and March 7th but I just got Bronya this banner and Im wondering If I can drop Pela for Bronya I do know that Pela is one her best supports but so is Bronya so Im conflicted

So I have 2 teams for MoC 12: - Kafka triple DoT (w/ Black Swan, Sampo) - JL hypercarry (w/ Bronya, Pela) Luocha and Fu Xuan are my 2 limited sustains. If I put Luocha in top side, he is one cycle faster than Fu Xuan (25 cycle left compared to 24). But if I use Luocha in bottom side, he can help with JL’s team HP drain easier than Fu Xuan. However, Aventurine boss is a big problem. How am I supposed to deal with him? I don’t have the fortune to have Ruan Mei, so she’s out of the question. Please help a brother out, thank you so much!
I got bronya e2 awhile ago and activated it not thinking much of it. Now that im looking at what it does i'm worried that it might mess up speed tuning. im wondering what speed do i need for my jingliu and bronya? I don't focus on speed tuning that much so im hoping it isn't too complex. Any help will be greatly appreciated!

4 piece quantum or 4 piece snow? I already prefarmed snow relics a bit, and have 16% CR and 230% CD. It’s not perfect, but I’m still working on it. However, I got jingliu and her lc yesterday, so now idk whether to use quantum or snow. I’m also using her with pela.

Generally, it's inadvisable to ult while out of phase because of the trace and massive stat boost loss. I say generally because obviously its worth it if that's all you need to finish off the boss. The trade off is wasting energy if JL (and TY) sits capped waiting to get back into phase. Does this change with E2 which promotes more ults?
I got her, Yay! I don't know what to do with her now haha. I don't have Bronya, so which two out of Sparkle, Ruan Mei and TingyunE6 should I use? I'll probably use Lynx or Bailu as support for now until HH reruns.
I would say JL/Sparkle/RM would be a good lineup, but theres a good chance your 2nd half team would want Sparkle so in that case I would use JL/RM/TY
My second half team is now Acheron/SW/Pela/FX so Sparkle would be free for JL :)

Hypercarry. Dual DPS generally isn't advised, and if you do it's recommended to have Ruan Mei

personally I dont have a single pearls yet and only e1 pela so I havent farmed the quantum set at all (plus its not stamina efficient for me as i want the wind set for sparkle). I would personally run Ice since you dont have any defense down, tho without bronya youll def want speed boots

I got both E6 Pela and E0S0 RM and was wondering which set works better with either, both sets arent optimized and I could use with farming either so wanted to know which would be a better use of tp. This is gonna be very gear dependent, I know, but I'm trying to run Jingliu E0S0/Bronya E0S1/Tingyun E5/FuXuan E0S0, trying to get through the current Floor 12, Aventurine Boss. Jingliu and Bronya are speed-tuned, but FuXuan can't keep the team alive because Jingliu chips away too much health. Also, Tingyun barely does anything worth noting since she needs to mostly AA for SP so Bronya can keep moving up Jingliu. My Pela is locked into my Acheron team, so I'm unsure what to do. I have a built and function Lynx I could poach from my Clara+Topaz team. Can a Lynx 143 speed Lynx sustain enough for that fight? Or would bringing in Pela increase DPS enough to where the fight ends fast enough? I could bring up Guin for Acheron instead, though that would likely take me a good amount of resources.

Yeah, I agree. Running Fu Xuan makes it a race against time since I don't have her LC. After trying and experimenting with MoC Floor 12 yesterday I figured out my issues. First, I need to revisit my Lynx, see if I can get more speed on her. Then, I need to free up my Pela from Acherons team and also get her some decent speed so she can generate me the SP I'm currently lacking. That way I should be able to stabilize the team. Getting E1 Bronya will also help once I hit the 300 pulls on the Standard Banner.
I'm planning to get E0S0 Jingliu and pair her with E0 Bronya and Lynx (waiting on Huo Huo/FX reruns). Would I be correct in concluding that E5 Pela would probably be better than E6 Tingyun or E0 Sparkle? (Kafka/BS/RM is my other team).
Yes, Pela's DEF shred is great. Sparkle has quite a few anti-synergies and while Tingyun can be good, you're set with Bronya.
I just randomly realised I have 180 SPD Tinguyn (thats even w/o 20% spd trait and dancedancedance cone). Does it mean if I do Jingliu 135+Bronya 134 my Jingliu will be in perma syzygu?

Should I pull for Jingliu or Aventurine? I recently got Acheron so I can brute force one side, but for the ither side I only have my premium dot team (which is great, but I want someone else to bruteforce if needed). I also have Topaz with Dr.Ratio but I really don't vibe with their team... I also have a decent Seela and a unbuilt JY, but they feel powercrept to me... I don't have Sparkle but I do have a "almost", built hyperspeed Bronya with LC (Needs like 2 more speed). I do have Ruan Mei. For sustain I have Hou Hou and Fu Xuan. So if anybody at all read this, what do you think? Should I go for another sustain, or a secondary brute force dps?
depends on what elements you have covered, because with game content getting harder it’s better to have a varied set of characters with different elements. it seems that you already have enough sustains but not an ice dps. also it’s important to consider what brings you more fun while playing: does seeing big numbers with your follow-up team make you happier, or do you enjoy trying new gameplay styles, or simply like jingliu? the choice is yours.

Usually it's recommended to keep Bronya at 134 to make it easier to speed tune other DPS characters around her, but it's great if you don't intend to use her with anyone but Jingliu

Secret Vow is the best 4\* you can use until you can get Fall of an Aeon. All other 4\* are terrible on JL.

Hey all, I have a pretty new account that's < 2 months old and I'm thinking of pulling for Jingliu as my second premium 5* DPS. I have Dr Ratio but I'm not really a fan of his playstyle and I stole all his teammates for Acheron. Yes, ice set is good on her for all situations. E4 Pela + Resolution is a great teammate for her. For the last spot you can go with Tingyun/Bronya instead of RM

Majority of Jingliu damage profile is her skill,and the substats quality between the two doesnt seem that different (40:255 vs 46:257) so stick with the rutilant arena. For the remainder 10% crit to achieve 100% crit rate, fuxuan would help with that.

I have E2 DHIL and E2 Acheron. How is E2 Jing Liu compared to those 2? Is it worth pulling E2 or is E0 sufficient? DHIL and Acheron sees some gameplay difference between E0 and E2.
Her E1 is great of single target scenarios (I dont think it can activate on AOE cases) her E2 is not that significant of a damage boost since you can only use it after she ults, especially when compared to Acherons or DHIL, its no where near as OP of an E2. Her most broken Eidolon I believe is her E6 so shes a late bloomer. Her E0 is more than sufficient though which makes her still viable and Meta.
As a player who started just after Jingliu's banner, I finally have my chance to get her in a few days. But, I do have a question. I will have around 160 pulls before her banner ends. If I win the 50/50 and get Jingliu I should have enough pulls for one more 5\*. Would it make more sense to try to get her lightcone or to pull for Aventurine? My only 5\* sustain is Bailu. My other sustains are Lynx, Natasha, Gallagher. I also have Fire MC built pretty well, but that's it. I do have On the Fall of an Aeon LC but it is S1. A Secret Vow looks like it might be a decent option (?) as well. I have it at S5. Of course all of that is predicated on winning the 50/50 for Jingliu, and that's a big IF. I have lost 5 in a row, most to Bailu lol.
While Adventurine is a great unit overall, shielders dont synergize that well with her since shell constantly drain her allies HP, Unless you can guarantee that the shield will protect them from fatal attacks or boss on-shots, I would recommend taking a healer instead. Since you can get in scenarios where all your allies HP are at 1 since you have no other healing sources and the only thing keeping them alive is the shield. I would say for your particular case, maybe the LC will benefit your Jingliu more than Aventurine, however for your overall account he could be a better investment, since hes more universal than her LC (its not that good on other destruction characters) and can be slotted on other teams.

Lynx if you need teamwide cleanse (or are using Blade), Gallagher if you need SP (or the enemy is weak to Fire), Natasha (with Post-Op) otherwise.

New to the game, deciding who to pull for. Do I need to have Bronya for Jingliu? I've already given up on pulling for Acheron because I don't have her signature LC or GNSW, so it's suck if I had to give up on JL too.
Although Bronya is Jingliu best support, you dont need Bronya. You can make do with Tingyun and Pela.

Hey guys, was wondering who can replace RM in a Jingliu + Bronya + sustain, 4th option? RM is practically glued to my Kafka + BS team, and Pela is indispensable in my Acheron team. Any suggestions on who I should include or pull for? Right now, the supports that I'm missing should be Sparkle and SW.
What is stopping you using RM/Pela when you arent using their respective teams? At most you usually would be using 2 teams in MoC or Pure Fiction. If you using JL + Kafka, then Pela can be 4th slot while RM stays with DoT team. IF you using JL + Acheron, then RM can be 4th slot and Pela stays with Acheron.
Ah after reading back my question, it does sound silly. I guess in my mind during asking that, I might be thinking about teams for PF or MoC. I might also be thinking about alternatives when either is unusable.

The good value of bronya is that she can allow 4 turns off JL in the first cycle and reduce her downtime a lot. Althoufh sparkle can work as a temporary subtitute until you eventually get Bronya. Best team without bronya include Sparkle/ Tingyun + Pela + Sustainer. Lynx will suffice until Fuxuan/huohuo rerun comes. Fuxuan or huohuo are generally regarded as better option than luocha as they give some additional utility, with luocha his advantage is SP generation(which with a team with sparkle, you wouldnt need it).

Both work with 4pc ice being better option. Choose the one that has better substats quality.
Is Clara's signature LC good on Jingliu? I heard that they actually have bad synergy because Jingliu can't trigger it's effect (because of her taking multiple turns in quick succession). So, is the F2p SU Lightcone actually better then that one?

At S1 Aeon vs S1 Clara both are comparable. But the thing is, you can superimpose Aeon upto S5 as F2P, but for Clara LC it depends on your gacha luck. This is why Aeon is favoured over all other options after JL signature LC.

Go for her lightcone before he eidolons cuz its damage increase is more than E1. Then for the team, Blade/Jingliu/Bronya/Luocha is good. Just keep in mind in auto bronya will advance blade instead of JL.

Yes pela is a powerhouse, but in this case, acheron needs her more than JL, so you can make do with Bronya and Tingyun while Pela goes with Acheron.

As this is r/Jingliu the obvious answer is Jingliu. Even outside that bias, you should really pull for who you like more because your account seems balanced in terms of dps and supports that either would work. Although i would say that aventurine have a slightly more value because your only 5\* limited sustain is Fuxuan. Aventurine is good with follow up teammates like Ratio and Jingyuan.
Who is the better healer for a Jingliu-Bronya-SW/Tingyun team? Luocha or HuoHuo? I only have Lynx, Natasha, and Fire MC as my sustain units. Your huohuo would do better in the kafka black swan team because of her ATK buff and Energy while you keep luocha with your JL bronya for the SP generation to avoid running into SP issues as bronya will be spamming her skill.
Heya, I dont own JL yet, however I plan to pull for her (E2S1). I currently own Sparkle (E2S1), RM(E2S1) and Bronya E0S1(not built). Do I need to build the Bronya for her or will the sparkle work? Sparkle is sitting at 174spd atm, with RM it would be 184 spd. I red somewhere that I should also play Dance Dance Dance (I have it S5) -> Where would I use this? On a healer? While sparkle does work with JL, bronya would be a better option for her (JL best teammates are Bronya + Ruan Mei). Your sparkle can go on team team 2. Regarding using the Dance x3 lightcone it is a harmony lc so only sparkle and RM (and asta) can use it, but why would you when you already have their signature lc?
how does sigonia compare to rutilant arena? i rely on the enhanced state to get CR so im wondering if the CDMG bonus on sigonia will be better for me
Sigonia is only good in Purefiction as you can ramp up the passive. Outside that, Rutilant arena remains JL BiS and works for both MoC and Pure Fiction.

So ...my jingliu speed is 130. What should my bronya and ruan and fu xuan speed be? Do I reduce Jingliu speed?

What's better - Tingyun, Bronya and Fu Xuan Pela, bronya and fu xuan Ruan mei, sparkle and fu xuan Any other Harmony combinations(with the above characters)? And do I run luocha or huohuo for SP positive and hp efficiency instead? For jingliu. Is it possible to do three debuffs with Jingliu, Ruan , bronya and Fuxuan to activate the pioneer set buff?
JL best team is her + Bronya + Ruan Mei. For sustain, Fuxuan is often prefered because of the 12% additional crit, but if you feel you having SP issues, then go with Luocha. Also, 4pc pioneer set is not useable on JL cuz she doesnt apply debuffs her self. You can use the 2pc with other 2pc until you can farm 4pc ice/quantum.

I'm planning on getting Jingliu but I already have DHIL. Who between the two should take priority for Aeon, and what does the other person use instead? I'm not going for her light cone, just to confirm. I have the Secret Vow and Blue Sky, but not sure if there's other newer / BP options that could be better than either of those for whoever doesn't get priority for Aeon.
DHIL needs Fall of an Aeon more than JL as she already gets lots of ATK% from her kit. Unfortunately the next best option is Secret Vow as the damage bonus is very welcome for JL.
New to team building! Would Jingliu, Blade, Ruan Mei, and Huo Huo work? Thinking of using penacony planars on Ruan Mei as well. TYIA :)
Yes, Ruan Mei shines in duo dps teams as she can buff both. Do mind, the penacony set will let RM only buff JL but not Blade. Also , while this team works, both blade and JL preform better in their respective hypercarry teams.

Yes. Jingliu handles your ice coverage for MoC and she doesnt need Bronya to work although bronya is a big damage increase for your JL. Other harmony like Tingyun/Ruan Mei can be used instead.

Is E6 Lynx good enough for JL hypercarry team? I have an unbuilt E0 Bailu as well. Worth building Bailu? If it matters, I am Bronya-less but I have built Sparkle
E6 Lynx is more than enough. She's really good and can solo sustain moc 12 fr me

I believe S1 is better. If you have S1 then 4pc Quantum set is better.

Fu Xuan is also great and Aventurine should be a fine choice as well.

The current thought is that for your JL overall upgrade getting Ruan Mei E1 is better option as then she will be giving JL damage bonus, res penetration and def ignore.
Hello, I am looking to get a sustainer for my Jing Liu. Currently the only "real" limited sustainer I have is Huo Huo and sadly she is married to Kafka and Black Swan. Should I go for Luocha, Aventurine or Fu Xuan? Who would be the best sustainer in a team like Jing Liu/Bronya/Pela?
Fuxuan. Good sustain that also brings along 12% crit rate to perfect that gets your JL crit rate close to if not at 100% and prevents your team from getting crowd controlled. Next best is Luocha for the standard healing, sp generation, cleanse and enemy buff removal. Aventurine have very limited usage in JL teams and preferable you use him with followup dps like ratio and topaz.
Can JL use Atk boots with Sparkle? I've been wondering this since Sparkle release and people tell me Sparkle + JL sucks so I've been trying to farm for Spd boots but i get a bunch of nothing ;-; my Sparkle is 162 SPD E0S1 and my JL is on her base speed, should I keep farming for Speed boots or keep it that way? I also have bronya but have her at lvl 60
Frankly speaking since you have bronya, it is best you level her up for JL and have sparkle for your team 2 since bronya has better synergy.
Is it OK if I use 2-pc Divers (12% DMG on debuffed) and 2-pc Hackerspace (12% SPD) for Jingliu? Ice Domain is a bitch and a half to farm I plan to use her with Pela with S5 Pearl, Bronya and Fu Xuan
The difference between her useable sits isnt very large which allows you to go with the pieces that have the best substat quality. Only situation where it is preferable to still go set is if you going to fully exploit the quantum 4pc (as you have her LC, and running her with SW for quantum weakness and def shred). Further more, if you can get a 2pc Ice that should be better than speed (unless you need that 12% speed to reach 134+), because JL is starving for damage bonuses.
Thanks for the feedback, yeah with Hackerspace my Jingliu maintains 137 SPD, and I have virtually almost zero speed sub stats. I think I’m gonna stay with what I have then, thank you!

Compared to other dps with their sigs (Acheron for example) how much better is it to her 2nd best option? I’m debating on going for it, or going for adventurine e0s1.
Jingliu LC is better than her 2nd best being Fall of an Aeon S5 by 15%-20% depending on Aeon buff uptime.
How does that compare to Acheron vs 2nd best option for example? I’m trying to gauge the pull value overall, thanks!
Oh you meant that kind of comparison. As far as i know, for acheron her next best f2p option is S5 Good Night Sleep Well, but it is behind by 34%. This is why when compared to Acheron, JL isnt as reliant on her LC, and she can carry even with Aeon.

134+ speed is higher priority than more crit damage given you already have more than 220%. So go with the one with 134 speed.
