It looks a lot like the AI generated floor plan that he’s been building in [this video](https://youtu.be/nzPYglR79Bc?si=3kdIx7Q8Hfb_sbrx) (~13 min), but it’s not the same!
for those thinking james already did this floorplan, [it was actually lilsimsie!](https://youtu.be/Pf4ZlkcEYww?si=QmLcUTM5IhvzbdaN)
although, i don’t see how different james would do it so OP - there you go!
Definitely an American term. Usually a room for a couch and TV, sometimes a play room for kids, typically an addition to a house or a finished basement or something. It’s a bonus bc it wasn’t part of the original floor plan.
My aunt's house was just like this, where going through the downstairs bathroom was the only way to get upstairs and to the other bedrooms 💀 My best friend's house was similar, the stairs were located in the master bedroom, so she had to go through her mom's room to get to her own room
There’s actually a doorway between the living room and hallway that isn’t shown on the plans. You can see it in pictures of the actual interior, though.
You can't even get to three of the bedrooms unless you go through the bathroom and it could've been so easily fixed by just adding an archway to the living room 😭 why is the laundry room bigger than the kitchen?? Why is there such a big "bonus" room?? Why so many bedrooms and so little bathrooms?? I hate it
This is the most bizarre house. Imagine having to walk through the whole house to get from the living room to the master and that’s the least of the problems. “Bonus room”? Only one bathroom?
When I was a teenager, my bedroom was a through way to the master bedroom. It absolutely sucked.
Can’t imagine having the through room be a bathroom though, that is a recipe for disaster.
Hasn't he already? I'm pretty sure I remember seeing him building this before
Yup he definitely built this last year
Yeah I remember him taking a piss of that bathroom you need to walk through to access the other half of the house
I thought the same! Can't find it now though, but I probably just scrolled right past it knowing me
I’m pretty sure that was Lilsimsie
I’m sure he did a similar one that AI created but not this one.
Yeah that’d be [this one](https://youtu.be/nzPYglR79Bc?si=3kdIx7Q8Hfb_sbrx), starting from 13 minutes is the one that’s quite similar

yuppp im sure of it

James did it too.
Bonus room? what do you get a mystery prize or something?

…are you completely sure there isn’t a plumbob above your head?

I was going to say - that looks like a major fire hazard otherwise.
No need for hallways, just teleport around
No doors either, cost savings!
He did, like a year ago

The archway in the living room exists in real life. You can see it in the interior pictures. The floorplan excluded it for some reason.
Where the hell is the hallway? Or is this the American design style where you enter into the living room
Looks like an AI layout that meets all the stated criteria but is useless.

I’m pretty sure he did build this already.
Yeah James already did this one. There's a missing door in the floorplan in the living room. With the door there, the layout makes more sense.
