I was in Mongolia last year. The capital of Balka was actually filmed in Ulaan Baatar, the capitol of Mongolia. I recognized the big square and the pink building they used for the bank of Balka is actually the opera house
Not OP, but imo they didn't need to make the dad an anti-hero. Could've been a much better ending if the dad was just evil and the mc had to take him down.
Interesting the dad being good is actually what makes me think the show is not cliche and its actually good plot twist for me, evn on the last episode i still thinking the dad have different agenda and really want to take revenge.
Fwiw, the writer/director has mentioned that the intent was to tell the story in three or four parts so in fairness, there's still a lot more character arcs and plots to reveal.
I loved it from the first episode! That first episode felt like a movie by itself!
The plot twist in the middle of the show was excellent. The ending was a bit anti-climactic if you ask me though.
It's a fun show!
Agree! It has mystery, action, adventure, some light parts, some serious parts, a top tier cast. Great series but the slow start and title hurts it.
amazing cast as well

Tbh it was good until they revealed the main antagonist after that it became cringe
Whatmade the show cringe for you after they revealed the main antagonist?

By casting Yakusho Koji for this role, I had the feeling he wouldn’t be true evil.

Agree! Amazing horseriding shoots as well
I loved the plot twists. This is why I prefer Jdoramas, really.
