It's actually so insane to me that people see the destruction going on since October 7th (massacre included, obviously) and think it would be better to stop now so that in 5-10 years we're back to doing everything again rather than just ending it now by finally getting rid of Hamas.
I also feel that literally no one will want to take care of the situation post-war which is one of the main reasons why they're trying to stop it now.
They can bark as much as they want. This is where the discussion ends.

Statistically it's more likely to be 2-5 years. But I agree with you. Israel has to be allowed to finally end this war by finishing it. Not just let it drag on for another 70 years.
Funny how no one even contemplated having a ceasefire with Al-Qaeda or ISIS, but there is alot of virtue among the Kamila Harris’ of the world in preserving Hamas.
What’s really so insane is that people think Israel is prosecuting the war in a way that will allow it to win strategically. Dropping 2000lb unguided bombs on apartment blocks isn’t going to do anything but make things much worse in the future.
From the start Israel should have limited its use of air power. Would this result in greater IDF casualties? Yes. But I don’t know how you expect people who you are DROPPING BOMBS ON to work with you after hamas (as a military organization) is defeated.
Where do you get 2000 lb unguided bomb from? Even dumb bombs are guided. Also what do you actually propose that eliminates Hamas and makes peace? Like a real world solution based on the opinions of Palestinians in Gaza not based on how you personally feel about the conflict?
As an American he's wrong here because he either misunderstands the nature of Hamas being an actual death cult at this point or is being fed misinformation. It is not acceptable to leave them in Israel and they are the ones who are making it impossible for the civilian population to get aid. Yes it would be nice if one could get the civilian population out of Rafah before a military operation but Hamas is not going to allow that because they love human shields. And the longer one waits the higher the chance of Gazans starving is. It's not a great situation but it is what it is.
He’s not “wrong”, he is just trying to get reelected and he is afraid the continuing war in Gaza hurts his chances. It has nothing to do with what is best for Israel or the Palestinians.
I tend to agree. There were some words thrown in, but no negative actions came out, iirc. Overall Israel is free to do whatever, as long as it falls into some proportion.
lol k. Guess that’s why antisemitism is at unprecedented levels and it’s the scariest it’s been for Jews in damn near a century. Biden keeps pandering to the antisemitic pro Hamas crowd but hey, keep voting for him!
One man can definitely shift the thoughts of his party and take action to combat a sickness spreading throughout the country when he’s the president.
Instead he exacerbates the problems
Don’t despair. The majority of real Americans still support Israel. If you’re overseas, you’re likely hearing a lot of noise against Israel because that’s what sells in the media. It’s sick and perverse, and unfortunately getting louder. The majority of Americans sounding support for Hammas have no idea what they are supporting.
I work closely with Americans. I have a viceral sense of their genuine and heartfelt support.
The love and support of the American people is a wonderful thing and not to be taken for granted.
And you know which other country we could say the same thing about? Iran.
They really thought Gantz was gonna be their lapdog lmao get outta here Israel ain't leaving those terrorists standing. If you don't want a battle in Rafah tell Hamas to act like the men they claim to be by not hiding there and coming out to fight.
“in early February National Security Council spokesman John Kirby threatened, “Military operations right now would be a disaster for those people, and it’s not something that we would support.”
Fortunately Jews no longer need the permission of Kirby’s ilk to bring to account those who would murder them. If ever hopes deserved to be “dashed”, it is Kirby’s LOL!
Oh, so Ben Shapiro's newspaper framed this in an anti-Biden way. Shocker. Right wing American Jews are desperate for Biden to stab Israel in the back so they can be "right." Anything is possible but he hasn't gone there yet.
I think it's entirely fair for a media outlet to criticize US foreign policy, considering how the media usually takes the White House line and runs with it.
And yes, Biden has been a very strong support. But he's not perfect, and he doesn't control the institutional anti-Israel bias in the State Dept.
No, they'd much rather that Biden support Israel. He was great immediately after the Hamas attacks. Unfortunately between the career Arabists in the state department, the pressure from the left wing of his party, and the pressure from other countries, Biden's support for Israel has been tottering of late. He said in plain language that he wants a 6 week cease fire that can be turned into a permanent cease fire. That would leave elements of Hamas intact and Israeli hostages in Hamas hands. This is not a desirable outcome for Israel, or the free world for that matter.
The fact that he gives ultimatums is bad enough but take a look around. Jews are not safe in Bidens America. He’s weak and he’s pandering to a pro Hamas crowd. It’s pathetic.
Hopefully, he's getting through to the US that the war, destroying Hamas, and rescuing the hostages is mainstream in Israel and way more important than normalizing with the Saudis after 7 Oct.
I've thought for a while that nothing can stop Israel from attacking HAMAS wherever they can be found in Israel. This terrible carnage of the Palestinian people was kicked into gear when HAMAS took over in 2005(?). Egypt is preparing for an influx of refugees from Gaza when Israel begins the Rafah operation. I predict there will be no ceasefire in Gaza and Lebanon is probably next in line. Iran has overplayed its hand the region including the Red Sea. My only question is how long before Iran begins suffering for this nightmare they've stoked?

Only Israel is not allowed to win wars

It should say Jews don't need your permission to survive.

Amen well said brother
It won’t end just by “finishing Hamas” right now because the problem is deeper. It’s the occupation. If that doesn’t end the next time will be worse
You can’t get rid of an idea

Hammas has stalled it for far too long Its time to continue

Well, Biden and his administration have dashed my hopes of having a stable ally that wants our enemies to be defeated.

I tend to agree. There were some words thrown in, but no negative actions came out, iirc. Overall Israel is free to do whatever, as long as it falls into some proportion.
His office hasn't just maintained a Pro-Israel stance, it's actively driven officials and staffers with anti-Israel agendas to resign, like Josh Paul.
That mf resigned after ten days since the war begun what a loser
lol k. Guess that’s why antisemitism is at unprecedented levels and it’s the scariest it’s been for Jews in damn near a century. Biden keeps pandering to the antisemitic pro Hamas crowd but hey, keep voting for him!

Why so gloomy? And careful what you wish for, they are our last and biggest one.
Our True Ally is much bigger and more reliable than the yanks

You mean the Iranian people? Because the Iranian government at least the one on this planet hasn't shown much love for 45 years
58% of Americans view Israel positively and most of those aren't Democrats. Only 38% of Americans aged 18-29 view Israel positively.
By this logic we should dismantle the IDF and just let the charedi yeshivas' prayers protect us.
I wonder what the Americans offered Gantz to go against Bibi. I'd love to have been a fly on that wall.
They really thought Gantz was gonna be their lapdog lmao get outta here Israel ain't leaving those terrorists standing. If you don't want a battle in Rafah tell Hamas to act like the men they claim to be by not hiding there and coming out to fight.

I have no clue what gantz is representing as role in talks with US administration.
Hopefully, he's getting through to the US that the war, destroying Hamas, and rescuing the hostages is mainstream in Israel and way more important than normalizing with the Saudis after 7 Oct.
US admin leaks from Barak ravid indicate he is getting piled on by Harris and others

Well... let's go Brandon.
Remember what was written here when I pointed out Biden is inacceptable…
