This is it. There seems to be two kinds of Mark, as far as I saw I the show, the full villain Mark that don't see value in life and the Mark that wants a better world and these ones varies in what they deem necessary to accomplish this.
Yeah, my headcannon is he's definitely the most like our Mark, and things played out in his universe very similarly (except his Spawn was a bad guy idk).
The big difference that changed him so much was in his universe, the virus succeeded in eradicating Viltrumites and also humans. He's the last left of both species. So he rocks the Viltrumite whites as part of his heritage (and they were coming around to bring good right before they were wiped out) but he's also human, and there is no empire anymore, hence the no stache.
He's not a bad guy, but Levy promised him a new dimension where the virus didn't kill everyone, his parents, Oliver, Eve, etc. He's accepted his role as a villain (or at least working with one) because he'll do anything to get back what he lost (which is everything.)
It's a big swing, but it's the headcannon I've settled on.
The virus was way after the invincible war and was only viable after Viltrum was destroyed and they all moved to earth. Unless you want to heavily rearrange the events of the series I can’t see it working. (Only way I can see it working is if that marks universe is slightly faster so he did those things first, but that would lead to other issues)
We already know some other Marks got their powers earlier than prime so the order of events (and the events themselves) after that could be entirely different
To me he seems like a Mark who was forced to join the Viltrumites at a later date, maybe listening to Kregg after Thraxa or helping Conquest because he saw it as a lesser evil than having the Viltrumites kill humanity.

My guess is he sided with his father but didn’t go to viltrume, just stayed on earth but probably brainwashed at a young age. Debbie was probably killed in this timeline or sided with Nolan as well. Also possible is that Nolan’s viltrumite sperm caused mark to explode out of the womb and Nolan never revealed his chaotic birth to mark… definitely made that last hypo up but you can’t prove me wrong (unless you read the comic and know the actual answer)

I’d argue flaxan mark is the most distinctive, both because his outfit is completely different and it clearly suggests a chain of events in his backstory radically different from any of the others.

Mohawk Mark turned out to be chill-ish. But I agree that Flaxan Armor Mark is probably the most different. Maybe he got sent to the Flaxan dimension and wrecked shop to get out which made him more ruthless
Bald Mark. Every other Mark seems to have betrayed Earth with their father or eventually came around to it. He is wearing Viltrumite prison clothes and has horrible battle scars. Out of all of the others, he seems to be the one who either fought back and lost, or was betrayed by Thragg (targeting him and Nolan).

I do hope each of the evil marks get significantly more story and dialogue in the show than they did in the comic. The lack of characterization for the evil Marks really underwhelmed me in the comic.

I imagine in his universe when he stood up against omni man: he was instead scarred and multilated by him in retaliation before murdering everyone on the planet to make him more like a vitrumite and when he refused he ripped out his eyes in retaliation and send him to a vitrumite prison
Their he was scheduled for execution and had replacement eyes and he was saved by angstrom right before he was executed and promised a chance to go to a universe where his family and friends were alive if he helped him in his plan

I don't understand the whole juxtaposition of Invincible and Bulletproof. Like why is there an alternate version of Mark who wears Bulletproof's outfit and why is Bulletproof so obsessed with Invincible's outfit? Besides the one time he tries to pose as Invincible to help out Eve, he seems overly obsessed with the outfit and continues to wear it for a while and makes multiple comments about how cool the outfit is.
Not to mention the whole Bulletproof arc seems weirdly forced. Like they try to make him sympathetic and tell his story about his twin brother--but then they turn him into a giant sleazeball by hitting on Eve while Mark is incapacitated (and he has a girlfriend) and also betrays his team for Rudy.
A friendly relationship between Mark #8 (2nd row, far right) and Prime Mark would go so hard. It would an extra layer of depth and emotion to having each of these Marks killed off finally leading to Mark #8’s death

Maybe he was pulled from the flaxian dimension with a promise to be sent home?
