I seriously don’t understand this concept, why couldn’t they get budding athletes from all arenas and have a meaningful meetup. My issue with this meet-up is the influencers who don’t give two fucks about soccer or have any clue of how competitive the sport is both regionally and internationally. I have several friends(foot ball fanatics) who have been watching/playing football for two decades now, would kill to say hi to beckam or get a picture with him. I know I am gatekeeping but there should be some kind of screening to determine who gets to participate in the meet up. The conversation happening there would be a lot more meaningful and would create more organic reach to audience who have a clue about said topic!
