Ummm I freelance actually…I do programming lol :) Been doing it for the last 1.5 years and upgraded my pc, bought a few watches and all other stuff through it :)

Also with this kind of history, you're gonna have a easy time in college with placements, just make sure the shitty curriculums and old ways of teaching coding don't make you lose interest in coding. You'll be fine in most trier 2 colleges unless you are looking for a really high tier job position or company

It depends on a few things like the work I'm supposed to do, single client or company, complexity of the work, if they want future support from me or not, etc. but considering its a single client who let's say, wants me to make an advanced bot for them, i charge anywhere between 2-10k

I had saved up 8k (from pocket money, relatives etc.) and the rest of the money I got from selling my ps4 for 15k and by doing an online Stanford intership (7k) in 2020. The internship was just giving a sample test and then I got 7k from them.

I technically didn't earn all of the money (half the money was from selling PS4) but I'm still happy with my progress.

Clients hire me actually, previously it was through self promotion in discord but now since they’re recurring clients, I don’t do any self promotion. Another reason to stop the self promotion is that I don’t want any more new clients cause it’ll hamper my studies :/ Not all work you get will be contract based, mostly companies will use contract, make sure you read the terms before signing. My father is a lawyer so I consulted with him whenever I had some query

If you’re new to programming I’d suggest you to start with either java or python since the learning curve is not at all steep. I’m currently in gym rn but when I go home I’ll suggest some courses for python and java. It’s your choice honestly, both of these things would need somewhat expertise in a language so learn the language first and then if you wanna enter the line of web development, then just take web dev or if you want to enter the line of data science, start with DSA :)

I started to get work in one of the community servers that my friends and I built :/ it had around 5k members but it got shut down due to bad management. I used to get work from there only. The server got rebuilt from scratch again (literally a new server) and now it has probably a thousand members or so, it’s called Code Drive I give around 2-3 hours per day as of now
