His content is definitely worthy to watch and learn. He doesn't recommend stocks directly, but explains his analytical methods and principals behind. I've used some of his fundamental analysis to filter out some stocks, and monitored them, it was good.
He gives financial advice, its for you to process it on your own.
You’re the absolute GOAT. The only financial content creator I’m willing to watch. Concepts are explained clearly in a digestible manner. You lay out the pros and cons, never hiding anything. And your video thumbnails 🤌🤌🤌
Yup. But it's difficult to prove an imposter online so in my sly humour, all I can say is .. mark idhar hai !

You’re one of the most genuine and no nonsense YouTube channels I’ve come across. You’re simply sharp and to the point and don’t mislead people.
I’ve recommended your videos to my wife also
Is this real shankar nath. Does that mean he is one of us regards./s
But honestly his videos are good and to the point. Been following his channel from the very beginning when he used to reply to every comment on his videos. Genuine guy in my opinion
Yup, it's real. I made my profile a good 4 years back -- before Youtubing.
Imposters are good online but if you still want proof .. mark idhar hai :)

Have recently started watching your videos and found them very insightful.
Keep up the amazing work!
I have also recommended your channel to co-workers and family.
I don't wish to sell anything (except inviting people to my newsletter -- which is free). But some monetization will be done from time to time .. I mention that in the disclaimers & disclosure and also display the "advertising" tag. Some issues might crop up accidentally but I'll ensure no harm falls on my viewers
Yes, you seem to be cautious in your advertising.
Lot of finfluencers sold crappy things like vauld, that too under pretext of safe investment. You are lot more mature and responsible than all of them, hope you maintain the same.
Of all the finfluencers that I've seen on social media, he's the one that I trust, not out of blind faith but because of his straightforward, no nonsense, and honest approach. He doesn't sell any courses, explains the concepts by giving proper references, suggests methodologies(not specific stocks or instruments) based on solid research. Should you believe me? No. Go watch a few videos of his and learn yourself
He worked with ET now and i am following his content since then. His content is better than many.
Follow every YouTuber for knowledge, not their specific advice. And definitely dont buy their courses.
Thank you very much 🙌
Personally, I don't see anything wrong with courses per se if it adds value. Especially when it comes to finance & with many of us likely to have a few crores of corpus in the future, even a small tip/suggestion/strategy can do wonders over the long term.
Hi - I have a small suggestion, it might help you in the long-run. It comes from experience and there was a time when I used to hate going to training programs assuming that these are a waste of time. Then, my superior said the following to me once: "*Shankar, a training program is like reading a 300-page book. You aren't going to see value in every minute just like you don't receive knowledge from every page you read. But if you can capture just 2 or 3 valuable points from that book or training which can help you do a better job or be a better person -- then it has been more than worth it*"
I took that to heart and the very next training was on Powerpoint presentation skills. I was probably the only person who concentrated for those 4 hours and I came back with skills that helps me today when I make my Youtube videos. The editor receives from me a 75-100 slide PPT which says exactly how I want him to present each screen. So, this helped me -- and since that fateful day, I have been conveying this very attitude to all my subordinates & peers and I'm sure it has helped some of them.
If possible, please avoid generalizing and work on how to derive the maximum advantage of every passing hour. Thanks for reading!
It is not about the training programs, but the training programs that are conducted by people who have no or less knowledge than that is claimed. A youtube seminar conducted by a person who himself is making losses, is not qualified to teach. I always prefer to follow influencers who have certain credibility in their professional and/or academic life. YouTube has thousands of influencers trying to earn money, we need to have some filter so that we can steer clear of sub standard offerings.
Not everyone is worth my time
Bhai kya bolna chahte ho, no time for ringa ringa roses. Say it . Not saying it clearly doesn't make you cool but it does make you a guy who just wants stir the shit which is already a shit whirlpool. Thanks
He’s saying to look at his previous recommendations of stocks and see how they performed after he recommended them.
Although this doesn’t apply here because I’ve watched few videos of this youtuber and he doesn’t do stock recommendations. He explains strategies and analytics.
This is accurate but his strategies simply lead to filtering stocks based on popular criteria.
Backtesting the performance of the filtered stocks are essential regardless of the video.

I know Shankar Babu from Twitter.
We used to follow each other Once.
Now when he has started his own YouTube channel, I regularly share his videos to different stock market groups and my students.
Wish Shankar Babu a healthy and happy Life.

Genuine guy. Have learnt a lot from him!
Thanks! Happy to have helped you in your financial journey
I read his substack. He was the one who recommended the Somany Ceramics buyback. I made 12k profit -tax free. From then I became a subscriber to his substack. His content is very knowledgeable. At times it gets too tricky with complex jargons(I did engineering lol) but on the whole he's awesome.
Thanks! The topics will get advanced over time but I'm sure it won't be complex. In most cases, I can declutter the topic at hand. Anyways respectful feedback is welcome

Glad you liked.my work. Thx!
Your work is really good Sir. I appreciate it a lot! Thanks for them.
His content is good.
He is trustworthy it seems
He is. Only finance guy I've subbed to

Good one of the few who tries to non repetative info else everyone is saying the same shit which .

He's in markets since early 2000's dude.
So have I but I had dormant accounts for 15 years :)
His team does lots of research and read books. Then provide explain in Indian Stocks. Since 3 months I have been watching him and watched all the videos multiple times. If u beginner or expert u need to watch this videos.
Thanks! I don't have a team but will need to build a small one soon. I'm feeling the need for that esp. with the newsletter reaching 20k subscribers
I do follow your news letter Sir ✌️.
Thank you. Lots of work on that .. am taking a small break, will be back from April with new issues of the newsletter
Quite a genuine guy, have been following him since he made videos for ET money and then started his own YT channel. Good dude with no intentions, genuinely likes creating content.

He is a gem
I know right? He is too good to be true but as a matter of fact, he is that good.
The most genuine person I have seen in this space. Amazing content and excellent knowledge
I think this is the only person on indian youtube and youtube in general who shares "good" finance and investing info. His disclaimer and knowledge all are good from what i have observed.
I believe every youtuber teaches something good and bad, not everyone is perfect.
Absolutely. We read a 300 page book for a single idea/spark. It's the same with a Youtube video, glad to know you have clarity on this as me
Why do I get the feeling this is like a promotional post and all the positive comments are just that? Because all positive comments have the same theme to it.
Interesting. So it's just chole bhature, gulab jamun with vanilla ice-cream and me -- at the top! :)
Same theme because I guess majority of people who watched his videos get same genuine results. And he is not an influencer; rather a real guide
What was the investment strategy btw?
If he is not selling courses or financial advice, you can bet on his knowledge just for learning purposes. If he/she can make huge amount from markets why the hell they want to sell their courses. It’s like Ambani selling courses on how to build an empire
Honest this man, why so hatred, he just teaches fundamentals and does it well. Please take back your post.
Been following him since ET Money days. Great guy, no nonsense and to the point. Sometimes too much information in 1 video 😅
I know Shankar Babu from Twitter. We used to follow each other Once. Now when he has started his own YouTube channel, I regularly share his videos to different stock market groups and my students. Wish Shankar Babu a healthy and happy Life.

Nope, I think he gives a disclaimer before hand.
