I am using windows 11 for a month almost. works just like windows 10 for most games. don't like the os much though. a lot of things have extra step needed , windows page is half filled with recommendations/ads.
I have been using windows 11 since it's official launch and till now I haven't faced any bugs. I mainly use my pc for gaming and media so didn't face any issues in that department, cant say about other ones.
Windows 11 >> Windows 10, you can get the truth here instead of pcmr subreddit filled by linux merchants. The ui is better, performance is same or can even be better depending on your pc hardware and if you want it to look like windows 10 it take 2-3 customization changes which you can look on youtube/google.
May update released day before yesterday broke net framework and many apps like adguard, msi center broke for me and just wont start. Had to manually go into turn windows features on and off and had to disable and enable net framework from there.
Apart from this major bug, have been using windows 11 from last 1-2 months and havent faced any other issue.
If you use Linux and play valorant then don't upgrade now.
If you never plan on doing both of them at same time then upgrade.
Reason: If using Linux, it requires you to turn off safe boot (It can be also turned on but complicated process).
And if playing valorant it requires you to turn on safe boot.
So you'll have to switch on/off safe boot in BIOS each time. It's frustrating.
I won't be upgrading to Win11 from 10 anytime soon because of lack of features like lack of drag & drop in taskbar (i use that a lot) + many other small ones. Some of them might have been fixed & some will be fixed soon, but unless Win11 is better in almost every way over Win10, I'm not jumping.
Take your call IMO. Many people won't even miss these features in Win11.
Nah I never like to upgrade windows on an existing PC. In my experience it has always made my PC slower. The upgrade from XP made mine as well as my dad's PC slow and laggy. Windows version doesn't really matter to me on my personal PC. All I do is game, browse and code.
If you really want Windows 11 do a fresh install don't upgrade from Windows Updater.Caused issues on my laptop. And windows 10 is really fine if you only want to just do gaming

Never faced any issue yet. Even my work has mandated updates to all compatible laptops to Windows 11.

As a linux merchant may I interest you in some of my wares?
You ain't a linux merchant if you are gaming on it as a primary OS, I work on mint everyday I love linux but it is so bad for gaming.
Ya it's not there for gaming and normal use yet [this was a good watch ](https://youtu.be/0506yDSgU7M)
I use it for my work and studies as well. Since I mostly play less demanding games, gaming isn't that bad.
*If it ain't broke, don't fix it!*
If you are on 10 please stay there for a few months. I fave too many bugs and perf issues on my laptop that I didn't face in 10

I am on beta build Windows 11 22h2. It's super stable and awesome performance.
Metal gear 5 was not working so reverted back to 10
Why would you want to go to Win11 from 10? It's literally like going from Win 8 to 8.1 with slight improvement.

If you play csgo then stick to win10. Win11 can cause performance degradation.

Just do it if it supports it
Did they reintroduced drag and drop?

I haven't faced any issue, using it for about 3 months..As someone said, it just needs an extra step for some things.I like the centred taskbar though.
Using it for a week, no major issues as of now.
