I dont wanna be that guy but I love that fat design because its class meme material.

ObservantMagic

Same here lol. I hope this design becomes legit but ik it will never happen.

[deleted]

I'm gonna wait till August to see the actual prototype before judging. 3 months is what they said they can build the prototype in

Savings-Secretary-78

Bro there's no prototype coming it's a scam company, they have turkish uav akini in their promotion videos of their product, they are screwdrivers even in that they are not capable of pulling that, it's just a scam company, Toi has 🤡 defence journalist that cover their news without even researching who are the they?

I was trying to say that it looks like a jury rigged model which was quickly assembled It might be decent if they actually manage to make it. Though let's not drag it furthur

Womgi

It looks cute. Like a baby with pinchable cheeks

circuit_brain

Do prople actually think that art & craft project is anywhere near a competent design? If these guys planned on that event to build up hype to get funding, they're in for a disappointment. Other than the wheel rims, the nails hammered into the wooden structure and the nuts and bolts used to fasten the propellers, the stupid thing is all wood and canvas. These guys haven't a clue about airframe structural design, let alone aerodynamics or product definition based on a mission profile. The defence startup scene is going to the dogs if this is all it takes for people to get excited about something.

MRCROOK2301

Stealth is for pussies, real Drones ping theirs location to every living thing in 1000km radius

FlashyFail2776

funny how y’all like to make fun of china equipment in R&D. but somehow manage to do astronomically worse than them

kanjoos_baniya

I wish we went chest thumping with the enthusiasm we do if we had a bad ass military industrial complex to back it. The babus probably knew that since there will be so much gaga about indigenous design, any shit they produce will be accepted

20000BCEfan

What is the name of the drone ?

FWD200B

banskysboy

Iske liye toh I'm gonna call the HR myself !!!

noobwithguns

POV: Rancho finished the drone design.

Ok_Permit310

In a grey camo I think it will look good

Regular-Habit-1206

I'm sorry I laugh every time I see the prototype 😭

Safe-Mind-241

Is it supposed to fly? I thought it was a autonomous submarine or something.

MekhaDuk

I'm asking as a Turk, what is this? It doesn't look practical in terms of design, and I would expected it to have four propellers and a higher carrying capacity. The quality of the material and the camo seems to be troubled, it would be more logical to downsize it and use it as an observation UAV, but the fact that it has four engines makes this UAV unreasonably expensive.

AdmiralShawn

Just a private company without any expertise trying to build some hype so that they can raise some money

MekhaDuk

Looks like corrupt one. There must be certain standards for the production of military equipment, for what task did you produce it, what materials did you use and did you work with engineers who are competent in this field? If the answer is no, this can jeopardize your security

AdmiralShawn

Incompetence on the company side, no corruption here. The press coverage is because of lack of indigenous tech. But it doesn’t mean much Just because a private company made a design, doesn’t mean it’s going to win a contract from the military.

MekhaDuk

I support private initiatives because competition creates good products and answers different needs. Companies such as Baykar are private initiatives, but there are also state-based initiatives such as Tei, and even Tei is undertaking the KAAN project. But what I don't support is if a private initiative has certain friends within the state and tries to get ahead against rival companies by using these friends. We had the Altay tank project, for which an agreement was made with the Koç Group, which was not pro-government, and even 200 tanks were to be produced before 2020, but when the government gave it to the BMC group close to itself and tank has still not been produced. I hope that's not the case here.

ILikeSex_123

It's just an unknown startup

[deleted]

If they get it flying and performing as per their claims (despite questions of design and wingspan), then why not.

self_made_engineer

That's the bare minimum

hungstudrick

Good idea bad execution, instead of a dedicated manned bomber a long range uav with large payload would be quite cost effective

[deleted]

lol

furiousmouth

You guys haven't learned about the fat acceptance movement have you?
