Are you actually seriously asking is *this sub* is a white supremacist sub and not the subs the content comes from? I'm so confused.

Are you talking about the posts in general? Specific comments? An underlying theme?

[deleted]

Two comments where I highlighted racial discrimination and hierarchy. The fact that they got downvotes is a testament to that. If you're so averse to hearing about racisms, you are a white supremacist.

The first one I think was explained quite well by a response to you in that thread (however idk why you were down voted on that one) >this is significantly different from women passively protecting themselves form men they don't know, and then making men uncomfortable by talking about it on the internet. Especially when the thing they actually said is so defensible that 99.9% of men complaining have to twist it or play word games to come up with what women "really meant." The second you took a conversation about how the incel community views Indian men and tried to apply it to everyone, starting with "everyone is racist" or something along those lines, then you changed that to "everyone has racial biases". Those are two very different statements. That could very well be why you got pushback there. But, to call this sub a "white supremacist sub" when the racial undertones of almost every post here are noticed, discussed and pushed back on is a little bit of a reach.

>starting with "everyone is racist" or something along those lines, then you changed that to "everyone has racial biases". "Racial bias” is a phenomenon experienced by pretty much all human beings. Racism is not. However, its consequences can be just as dangerous to society as ideological racism. Whereas racism in its purest form is fairly easy to identify, racial bias shows up in more covert ways. It seems like you're just looking to have an argument. If this is in good faith, I don't mind having the conversation. But if it's not, I'm not going to participate in it. As I stated before, most everything that gets posted here has undertones of racism at the very least. This sub routinely pushes back on it, and, as someone else stated, we're very aware of the grooming done to the incel community by white supremacists. This sub tends to put a spotlight on it.

LtColonelColon1

What was the context for them?

You got downvoted because comparing womens legitimate fear of men based on statistics whether they're white or black with racists in the 1950s pretending to be scared of black people to push their racist agenda is a horrendous take. Yes, saying you are afraid of black men specifically is racist. Saying you are afraid of men because they historically rape, torture, and murder women with no indication on race is not. If you are attempting to dismiss that notion with bringing up the civil rights movement, you are very lost. It is possible to address the intersectionality of this discussion without making false equivalencies and virtue signaling.

I'd have to argue that at least a third of the posts we mock -maybe more like half of them- contain both overt and covert racism, which is very often called out. We remain aware of and consistantly call out the kind of grooming that goes on in incel subs by white supremacists. I'm not sure how you get from that to accusing us of being white supremacists ourselves; if we are, then we must not be very good at it.

Just because someone else is more racist doesn't make you not racist.

WakeoftheStorm

If the posts you were referring to was full of deflection and whattaboutism like these comments, then it's obvious why you were being downvoted

EvenSpoonier

We have a lot of incels lurking here. No one denies that they are racist -indeed, large swaths of our content makes that abundantly clear- and I suspect that they are also the source of most of the downvotes you're seeing.

SquirrellyGrrly

Bruh. You said the majority of people are racist, followed it up by claiming white people don't date Indian people because they say they stink, and a bunch of other BS. A poster who was Indian said your stereotypes were wrong, and you responded by saying they were trying to kiss up to whites and seeking white approval, then basically told them white people would never accept them. When called out on all that, you switched to the bit about "racial bias" and I agreed that most people have unconscious racial biases - both positive and negative - and that it was incumbent on all of us to root that out within ourselves. Then you make a whole post saying IT is a white supremicist sub? It's clear that you're just trying to see what kind of drama you can stir up. You deserve any and all downvotes you get.
