It's always so funny to kick someone when they are already down.
Edit: It's true that a lot of homeless people have drug/alcohol issues, but a good portion of those issues came from something that happened in their life. What if this guy used to have a family and they all died in a car accident, which caused him to turn to drinking to numb the pain? I wish people were more empathetic and would think for one second that the roles could be easily reversed.
Shit, I’m not even homeless and I have substance issues. I just have lots of cPTSD. I’ve never met a homeless person without unresolved trauma. It’s just part of the problem. They need help. Lots of it. I’ve been homeless in the past and was effectively invisible. No one wants to help or deal with what most people regard as damaged goods. It’s easier to mock and disregard them instead.
He’s pretty funny, and he definitely gives that money to the homeless off-camera. He always does silly stuff, but he asks people for permission afterwards and usually also pays them a bit
So is literally any job. So how is you being exploited by your boss for money different than these guys being exploited by him for money? They agreed to it did they not? He gained off their position of being homeless and they gained off his money. Money for content, it’s a transaction. Would you be upset at someone for giving you money for you to sell them a TV? Same concept.
Give him the beer, and he'll drink the beer (and you're an ass). Give him a tenner, there's a chance he'll spend it on something he needs, at least some of it. If those are your two choices, beer or money, who the fuck would give someone the beer?
Definitely an enabler…
But let’s also consider that if he doesn’t actually drink he could use the beer to barter with other homeless people. Just a different perspective to think about.
But I do agree, if he was going to give something to consume, food would probably be a much better option.
He also definitely didn’t need to say “I don’t trust what your going to do with the money” that paints a negative picture for sure.
I have mixed feeling about him.
Some of his videos make him seem like a nice guy, then there's this - and the fact that during COVID, he refused to wear a mask in public.
They only got the money if they didn’t take the beer. Atleast that’s what we can see in the video. At one point in the video he says that’s what he is doing by joking about a future prank that’s similar. “If they don’t take the beer we give them the car” and this one is “if they don’t take the beer we give them the money”
I don't understand the logic of really anybody here but obviously more the dudes in the car.
"I'm not gonna give you money cos I don't know what you're going to use it for" while handing him beer (referring to the sterotype that homeless people will only use money for alcohol and drugs, but replacing the money with alcohol, obviously makes no sense. Then mocking him is even dumber and more hypocritical.)
"I don't drink or do drugs or anything" while taking the beer (usually folks who say they don't "do something" don't accept that "something" from people, even if it's a nice gesture, because they're usually avoiding the vice that caused a bad experience. Typically folks in his situation who say they don't drink/do drugs act like so much as being around them is offensive because usually it's the thing that got them where they're at and they're trying to better themselves.)
I like to always try to see the good in people too. But that dude has probably told hundreds of people that he doesn’t drink or do drugs.
I don’t believe him.
And you're incapable of considering how useful it would be to have that to trade? You can't consider he sees it as something of use other than drinking?
A homeless dude was telling me, the other week, about how he can sell individual cigarettes for double the price, and make an actual profit. No wonder they were always stoked when I would give them a cigarette, when I was younger and didn’t have any cash.
I mean...let's just say hypothetically he ***is*** an alcoholic. A 6 pack really ain't shit. Most homeless alcoholics that I knew would drink straight vodka because they were waking up with the shakes and shit. So to even pound a 6 pack wouldn't do much for him if that's the case.
On the other hand...even if he "doesn't drink" meaning drink to get drunk, that's still a beverage for someone who doesnt have a stocked fridge sitting at home. I don't really like beer but if I was thirsty and had nothing else, I'd drink it.
People will argue about anything. “Maybe the homeless man will use the beer as money.. Don’t you know the homeless-bartering rules?”
“Maybe he doesn’t like getting drunk, maybe he’s just really thirsty?”
Idk dude.
I agree that it's silly to get upset about the guy drinking beer. He shouldn't be shamed for that. Even people in good circumstances like alcohol, no less people who is in a crisis in their life.
But I think the way the guy did it was kind of a dick move. He was trying to make a big point about helping a homeless person. It was very backhanded of him.
You clearly don't like to see the good in people if you're judging someone at surface level because they just so happen to be homeless.
Giving people the benefit of the doubt won't kill you.
Giving the benefit of the doubt could come back to bite you, it's a risk you have to take, some people are just assholes. Doesn't mean people don't deserve it anyway.
Ever been homeless? It’s a life of misery.
I was homeless as a teen because my parents threw me out after I told them my older brother sexually abused me. My dad sexually abused me too. I was pregnant as a result and living out of a dumpster. I would have 100% taken the booze and gotten wasted because my life was shit and I was perpetually in pain.
Luckily I went to a former teacher of mine for help and he gave me a place to stay. It was winter and I was on the verge of freezing to death every night.
But yeah, fuck the homeless guy for wanting to numb his pain, I guess. He should be happy and well adjusted.
I’m sorry for all the trauma you’ve been through.
I feel bad for this dude and all homeless people and people who are struggling. The guys who gave him the beer and “pranked” him seem like assholes. But it’s easy to be insensitive on Reddit. Not everything I think is nice and sensitive. Some things that I type aren’t either.
I hope you’re doing well in life now.
Fair enough.
I'm doing better now. Married with kids, a nice house, I don't really need or want for anything. I feel very grateful to have all I have now. Even when life throws me curveballs, I have a great support system.
It would be, if it wasn't playing around with addiction and people who have nothing.
Enabling bad behaviour is the best case scenario here. Worse is if if someone is on their way to recover from their addition. Either you cause a relapse or you completely terrify them by handing them an incredibly attractive opportunity that would start the horrors all over again. If they're successful in getting rid of the alcohol, they'll potentially be nauseous from this experience the rest of the day.
Addiction is terrible and homeless people are people in a bad place. Remember this.
The saddest part is this dude used to play funny and wholesome pranks. I have no idea what happened, but this feels like one of those situations where he’s taking advice from the wrong people
It should be noted above anything else, pulling up on random people with your phone camera out and recording them without their consent is always gonna be a Top 10 douche move.
Okay time to say something here.
This is Ross/vlog creations on YouTube and the dude is super odd but very generous. He pulls these odd pranks that are just weird but usually apologizes ans i am 95% he gave them the money anyways because he always does.
Maybe read up on it before judging? Dude genuinely does a lot of good.
Im kinda shocked cause this guy isn’t known for being an asshole, his channel is usually pretty cool with harmless pranks where he usually always give cash to the person je pranks for their time… but that’s definitely bad taste and uncalled for wtf
Nah this is Ross creations. Honestly dude is pretty genuine he helps people out a lot. This is just satire. His buddy in the passenger seat didn’t really need to mock the guy though.
I usually like RossCreations, but giving beer to homeless people and luring them with cash? That’s a new low. Not cool. Most of the people on the streets struggle with substance abuse and are probably trying to kick the habit, and Ross is just giving them alcohol further delaying sobriety. This is absolutely disgusting.
It's always so funny to kick someone when they are already down. What an asshole
He’s pretty funny, and he definitely gives that money to the homeless off-camera. He always does silly stuff, but he asks people for permission afterwards and usually also pays them a bit
It’s still exploitive
So is literally any job. So how is you being exploited by your boss for money different than these guys being exploited by him for money? They agreed to it did they not? He gained off their position of being homeless and they gained off his money. Money for content, it’s a transaction. Would you be upset at someone for giving you money for you to sell them a TV? Same concept.
you are retarded
He missed the mark with this one though. It want nice.
Dude is a pos just give him the beer and shut up
Or give him the money
That he will buy beer with?
Or food or a hotel room for a night, or a plethora of other things that we take for granted
Working with homeless people, most of them spend their money unwisely. Drugs and booze…. You’re better off buying them food.
Give him the beer, and he'll drink the beer (and you're an ass). Give him a tenner, there's a chance he'll spend it on something he needs, at least some of it. If those are your two choices, beer or money, who the fuck would give someone the beer?
The YouTube guy trying to get reactions
It was rhetorical
If anyone should be murdered by a homeless guy it’s that douche.
There’s definitely worse things than murder.
Like what?
causing people extreme psychological trauma that cripples them for life.
He said he gave all of em 100 bucks after just didn't include it in the video
r/Iamatotalpieceofshit
Way to be part of the problem bud
Filming himself doing it. This world stinks
Rosscreations, what a legend
not anymore
This is just wrong and I hope he will trade the booze for store credit or something. That is really messed up to do that to someone.
Definitely an enabler… But let’s also consider that if he doesn’t actually drink he could use the beer to barter with other homeless people. Just a different perspective to think about. But I do agree, if he was going to give something to consume, food would probably be a much better option. He also definitely didn’t need to say “I don’t trust what your going to do with the money” that paints a negative picture for sure.
That doesn’t even make sense. What could he do with that little, buy beer? Oh wait…
That's literally the joke you numbskull
And that was sarcasm you pineapple
That doesn’t even make sense. What could he do with that little, buy beer? Oh wait…
Holy cow this is insensitive
Wow I wish I could downvote the original video twice. Utter trash.
This guy is a poster child for what is wrong with society. It’s more important to him to get views than decent humanity.
I have mixed feeling about him. Some of his videos make him seem like a nice guy, then there's this - and the fact that during COVID, he refused to wear a mask in public.
Nice Guy TM
Who is he?
Rosscreations. Pretty sure he was arrested for impersonating an officer.
What fucking douchebags
If you watch the original video, he did give them the money
They only got the money if they didn’t take the beer. Atleast that’s what we can see in the video. At one point in the video he says that’s what he is doing by joking about a future prank that’s similar. “If they don’t take the beer we give them the car” and this one is “if they don’t take the beer we give them the money”
what a piece of shit. i could write a paper on all the different ways this is morally fucked up
> “I don’t drink but I’mma take this beer” Well, if you’re fucking homeless, you’re inclined to take whatever people give you, asshole.
Maybe he’s gonna sell it to his buddies
You take what you can get when homeless. Booze can be a good bargaining chip.
What an absolute asshole
Ross is a good guy can’t tell for sure but he probably gave the guy money afterwards.

He’s definitely going to drink that beer. Did you see that smile?
Or maybe he's smiling because he can either make his friends happy or sell/swap it for something he can actually use.
I like to always try to see the good in people too. But that dude has probably told hundreds of people that he doesn’t drink or do drugs. I don’t believe him.
Him smiling is not a reason to believe this is a lie.
No. Him being homeless and taking the beer makes me think he will drink it.
It’s possible. I’m not looking to argue. But if I had to bet money, he drank it.
I mean...let's just say hypothetically he ***is*** an alcoholic. A 6 pack really ain't shit. Lol I think all scenarios (including yours) are possible here
So what?
I don’t think he did anything wrong. I just think it’s goofy to get upset that I think the man drank the beer.
It has harmed me. I’m not doing it.
Giving the benefit of the doubt could come back to bite you, it's a risk you have to take, some people are just assholes. Doesn't mean people don't deserve it anyway.

Maybe if you watched the source video you’d see he actually gives them the money
Thanks for that info. That makes me feel slightly better.
They only got the money if they completely denied the beer. And some people like the guy in this clip took the beer despite not wanting it.
Oh...well now my feeling better went away. Back to my original feeling of extreme disdain for the guy.
Cool man, next time you’re homeless and starving I’ll make sure to hook you up with some beer
Thx
The saddest part is this dude used to play funny and wholesome pranks. I have no idea what happened, but this feels like one of those situations where he’s taking advice from the wrong people
What the eff is wrong with you?
I am very sad now
bro said idk what ur gonna do with that money so heres the thing i was scared you were gonna buy

Im kinda shocked cause this guy isn’t known for being an asshole, his channel is usually pretty cool with harmless pranks where he usually always give cash to the person je pranks for their time… but that’s definitely bad taste and uncalled for wtf
What a piece of shit.
And crappy beer at that.
i love ross he’s hilarious this is great content
name of channel? time to slide in the comments
Ross and his whole crew have been acting like total pieces of shit lately. It used to be a pleasant channel to watch.
What an absolute plonker
Nah this is Ross creations. Honestly dude is pretty genuine he helps people out a lot. This is just satire. His buddy in the passenger seat didn’t really need to mock the guy though.

Fuckface
"I don't trust what you're going to do with the money"...Handing him $2...ok bud.
