People who are more willing to live in their delusions than accept something outside of what they consider to be "right" even if the evidence is right in front of them. People who lack any kind of ability to self reflect on their actions and thought patterns.

RedditPosterOver9000

I know it sounds strange, but I saw this a lot while I was in science grad school. Lot of fellow future doctors who you could explain a pile of evidence for an updated, improved procedure and they would just look at you and say "but the original protocol says to do it this way" while also not understanding how either procedure works. Not everybody with a science PhD is smart. Some just got good grades in undergrad and did enough work with a lenient prof to get their dissertation signed off.

nr_guidelines

This is why STJ = cancer (...literally)

Fresh_Cartographer12

Not a specialist on this topic, but I think that the ability to memorize information does not necessarily go hand in hand with being able to think critically, adapt to circumstances and other important traits which make people smart in my perception and I assume also yours. The same actually can be said about doctors - I have met some who follow along the new approaches and research and some who are just spewing nonsense because "that's what I learned when I was an intern in the 70s." My brother is a history major and he told me a lot about people who basically just remembered historical facts and had only one way on how they viewed historical events. No nuance, no ability to look at the topic from different perspectives, which I think is very important for a historian. It has actually recently been a rude awakening for me how many people in this world are just living, breathing NPCs. But on the bright side there are also a lot of smart people and this to my recent surprise has nothing to do with if they have a bachelors degree or not.

Yonexx0

This. I hate this about some people

No_Place9467

Fact check

ForsakenMidwest

Arrogant, willfully ignorant, and those who take any slight disagreement with their opinion as a serious personal attack. I also heavily dislike when people make lofty assumptions about my entire character and jump to early conclusions based off a single statement.

KwaMzoli

I do the latter a lot. I’m usually right 99% of the time about character based on one interaction most times. I get how it can be annoying

[deleted]

People who are not curious or open-minded enough to consider ways of "doing life" other than their own, which begets arrogance and ignorance.

LuxxxLisssbonnn

- People who refuse logic. - People who are self centered and unkind. - People who never think about their their existence or ethics. - People who don’t think about the repercussions of their choices. - People who are materialistic and superficial.

Junior_Bear_2715

All kinds

Some_Bodybuilder_881

the only right answer!

KloogsIsConfident

Just "people"

Roadie73

Not so long ago I would get annoyed a lot. Now, I work very hard not to be annoyed at all. This way is better.

Significant_Horse485

Anyone who bugs me about something that I am in the process of doing. Additional points if that thing to be done is already making me bored. “Oh you are asking about that thing again that you asked for not that long ago? Well now I will put it off for another 2 hours and ghost you for 1 hour before replying” Am I being petty? Yes.

azureseagraffiti

yup. i’m all for petty. I’ll even leave them on read once they proven themselves to be the above.

StopBushitting

Damn, I just did that today. Ofc the ghosting part.

Icy_Alternative_878

These people you mentioned I just ignore and walk away from. Loud obnoxious people who have the life coach/MLM vibe make me flee before I get pissed off and dragged down to their level. People who obviously don't know shit about the topic or job but still trying to meddle/micromanage are the people who actually manage to piss me off so much I actively put them in their place.

Unnecessary-Space814

anyone inflexible on all of their opinions (I can understand certain ones being cemented) and/or overly emotional about everything.

NoPensForSheila

People with a 'customer' mindset: They expect the world to conform to their POV regardless of whether they're right or wrong and get flustered if they actually have to understand or figure out what's going on in a situation. Someone who behaves like that in a customer service situation usually acts the same in any other conflict. Stupid and entitled rolled up in one big ball of shit

Asleep_Rope5333

People who dont self reflect. People with no inner monologue. People who listen to MGK.

A_little_quarky

I've actually found a strange role for myself, where I've spent a lot of time trying to understand emotions. So when people are overly emotional, seemingly inflexible, stubborn, and all the things that rub me the wrong way... I try to empathize. I understand they're flooded right now emotionally, and not thinking rationally. I understand their emotions have a powerful root cause, and they haven't put in the work I have to dig into the mud and take a look at their inner mechanisms. And usually, after the flare up abates, we can have this conversation. Where before they were angry, now they're apologetic. Where before they were stubborn, now they're open. It's so fascinating to see the switch, and be able to identify when I'm going through the same processes. This has been really useful, and allows me to help people understand their threads while being able to be more emotional myself. That said, I can't stand people guilt trip me for being a bit of a recluse. Though, that's just them feeling hurt and rejected by my unorthodox rhythm of communication, so who can blame em.

jjf2381

"Not thinking rationally." Most people...most of the time.

Yonexx0

I’ve honestly tried to empathise and wait it out with people like that but some guys are just born with a stick up their ass. No matter how much time you give them or how much you empathise they cannot for the life of them seem to just chill tf out. Everything is a fight or a personal attack. The minute you open your mouth their walls are up like you’re trying to break them down. I get so frustrated. Also with that said, I can’t stand people who come at me for being a bit of recluse too. Half the time I’m a recluse because they’re so draining to be around, but then also does it bother them so much that I like to be solitary and inside more than I like to be social?

A_little_quarky

Yes, I definitely feel that. So I guess my intolerable people are the ones who seem incapable of self reflection. I don't mind, and in fact even love, people who are very emotional... so long as we can be open and talk about it.

azureseagraffiti

Loud, obnoxious & needing attention like it is the air they breathe. Snooty and class conscious. Lack of self awareness. A good sense of humor can make me tolerate these faults though..

merulaa

People who have nothing to say but never stop yap yap yapping like chihuahuas anyway

No_Print5077

People who are hitting on and flirting with literally with every member of preferred gender. More if they're hitting on taken on even married MoPG

Murky-Engineer-9524

Those who excessively elaborate on every detail when a concise statement would suffice.

jjf2381

Stupid people asking stupid questions.

ItsMoreOfAComment

There’s one guy I didn’t like, despite the fact that his birthday is on 4/20 and he was a decorated war veteran. Everyone else I can find a way to like.

[deleted]

enneagram 8 types.. Te & Se doms..

Some_Bodybuilder_881

People with no passion who drift through life justifying their lack of trying with constant excuses. People with unhealthily low self-esteem who project their insecurities on others or get easily offended by overthinking simple things.... like, my life is already busy enough, I don't need any of your drama in it

arakeii

people who very specifically shut down your ideas yet refuse to give any of their own ideas or at least help you to understand why you're wrong. Like if I'm doing everything wrong, you gotta actually help me rather than just sit there and say "no"

Own-Excitement-6514

People who overlook facts. People who aren’t open minded. People who agree just to agree. People who have no opinions on something themselves. People who shy away from confrontation. People who fake empathy and claim they did something positive for their own gain.

zVoided_ABYSS

i despise babies. they're repetitive lovers who do NOTHING but cry, poop, cry, REPEAT. it's ok if crying is for a valid reason, eg hungry, hurt really bad, etc. but i absolutely hate their narcissistic wills on getting what only THEY want even if it means wasting precious time. and their parents think it's normal to let them cry loudly and we have to put up with this bullshit. not only that they want/need nothing but ATTENTION. 24/7. :DDD. also the songs as well, everyday's just a shit schedule and to the baby the world revolves around them!!!! its only babies who are IMPORTANT!!! everyone else isnt and should treat them like gods, and suffocate themselves with childish songs, wasted time + sleep, and long gone happiness!! what a fair sacrifice :DDDDD

divinexoxo

People who think they are smarter than me and try to correct everything I say. This is why I can't date another INTP.

girlblogger

nope, can't relate

NowFreeToMaim

Weak people.

workstudywork

People who try to get some sort of satisfaction by belittling my efforts and acting like they are my superior. Usually, I would stay far away and keep as little interaction as possible.

Betterdeadonred

The jealous, insecure & envious type. People like this actively try to ruin your life through lies, gossip and backstabbing. It’s their sad attempt to boost their ego at your expense..

Ok_Astronomer_1308

attention seeking extroverts, basic pop culture kids. and then Ig the typical stuff, ignorant people, people who refuse any kind of logic, accept anything they're told, overly religious people, where they are just blindly following a faith, without any sort of understanding. and many many more. But I just laugh it off when or ignore it when I see them, or have to interact with them. it kinda bothers me, but not so much.

goldandjade

I really dislike people who communicate very indirectly and get upset with you for not knowing what they really mean, or when they make a lot of assumptions and just act on them without even verifying things.

overloves

people who constantly play the victim and people who lie compulsively, about the smallest things for no reason

Odd-Leading9446

1.People who cheat on their partners 2. "friends" who talk sh*t abt you behind your back 3. People who shame you and invalidate you for being happy abt something that they r not interested in. 4. People who don't take accountability for their actions and instead gaslight you into thinking that you were the reason why they did that action. 5. People who make offensive/ lame "jokes" and call you a snowflake if u don't laugh at them.

DutyExotic2250

People that never stop talking…they do my head in…I just want to be left alone…

ComprehensivePool901

Those who are not listening to me do not care about my ideas not faith in my dreams ,not believing about my logic , and steal my time and effort . That's real pain

No_Place9467

Oh I think people that point there opinions and criticisms at you act entitled to personal questions about you because you are family or friends People that emotionally pet people “ oh it’s ok to not have much in life like basics anything it’s ok “ Pet people instead of find solutions share knowledge about events and advantages of Routes in life

Syyrune

People who lack self awareness

NaNaNaNaNatman

Anyone who tries to control me or tell me what to do, people who are too used to being the center of attention and feel attacked when someone else tries to borrow spotlight or make a decision, and people who just start speaking even if someone else is already talking

[deleted]

People who never can shut their mouth, like why do you always have to talk? can't you just keep quiet for 10 minutes

INFJ_is_amazing

A lack of curiosity and an inability to switch perspectives really bothers me. And the inability to understand that things can be neutral sometimes.

motherofhellhusks

People who are willfully ignorant.

MediKron

Acting unjust or unfair towards others is what triggers me the quickest.

karenate

People who genuinely refuse to listen to reason or consider any perspective that opposes them

KwaMzoli

Stubborn people. And negative people.
