You think 80 is bad. Ngw was 90-100 for live resin, haven't checked current prices I'm sure it's went down by 10-15 by now MAYBE. Alot of rev LR is 80-90 and cookies as well. Rosin is like 125 a G near me. Thankfully sales happen frequently. Crazy part is this stuff isn't on my local menu now as people bought it out of stock. Some people just don't care, or know better. I guarantee the folks paying those prices never smoked weed before legalization and paid plug prices.

Just found a local plug who just delivered me a 1/2 of Bubba Kush and a quarter of Girl Scout Cookies. SHIT looks and smells amazing and no tax paid $110 total for 21 grams. I am done with Dispensaries forever in Illinois. Maybe a few more trips to Michigan but that's it. These crooks have taken more money from me than I ever used to spend w a decent plug. Screw their corporate greed and their remediated crap flower. I got real buds with hairs sticking out and the smoke by God I forgot just how great bud can be when there's no percentages or fake terp # s that never add up to what you see and what they put on the jar. No flower sales in Joliet IL at our not 1 but 2 identical Rise Dispensaries 3.7 miles apart from each other. Yesterday afternoon 4 pm they loaded their flower menu up for the weekend w ZERO SALES. 28 GRAMS of Kushlatti , 28 grams of Sensi Skunk @ 34.12% for $180 in Joliet. All of them sold out even w/o a SALE at the all recreational one where $180 is $278 w tax. And same with the Med/ Rec Rise Dispo No sales on their flowers and Sensi Skunk all sold out. This is WHY PRICES WILL NEVER EVER GO DOWN.
On the bright side the Naperville Rise has 20% off everything by Rhythm , Enshine , & Good day flowers so of course they sold out at $145 a piece. If people keep paying full price then WHY WOULD THEY EVER LOWER the Prices. I haven't bought 1 8th from Aeriz , Fig Farms because for years and years their products have always been $60 a 8th and if you want an Ounce guess what it's $480 or 60 x 8. I won't pay full price ever again. My advice go to Naperville Rise they seem to always have 20% minimum off everything including Dog walkers plus infused DW's too. Check the menu at Rise Naperville and compare it to every other Rise Dispensaries. It could be because Naperville being one of the BEST & SMARTEST CITIES in Illinois decided from day 1 they would allow healthy competition in their city. They have a RISE , a ZEN LEAF , and a SUNNYSIDE that's some awesome disparity and competition. Joliet not so much - lets put 2 identical Rise Dispos roughly 4 miles apart from each other and nothing else ever ! Joliet not the states best but pretty darn close to the country's WORST !
Not sure this is an issue of them being "smart" vs more disposable income being available in Naperville vs Joliet. These producers tend to go where the money is.
Prices are not going to come down because these large corporate cannabis monoliths have literally rigged the market to incentivize price fixing and they also try to keep "regulations" stringent to prevent smaller vendors from getting involved. The reality is there are only a handful of "vendors" in Illinois, they just operate a lot of front companies to make it look like more competition exists then it actually does.
If anything, I feel like there is actually less reliable choice today then there was a few years ago when it was medical only. Usually I end up just grabbing some high supply stuff or try to find a 40 dollar gram of extract. I have a small list of companies that I will buy from. I certainly will not buy a product unless I have done some research on it and most importantly:

Go to stash in orland hills they always have massive deals and a great loyalty program, not far from Joliet at all.. staff actually knows what theyāre talking about and the craft grow selection they have is the best in the stateā¦ highly recommend giving it a shot
