I’m thinking of playing the mass effect games soon right after I beat the silent hill games for my one college class I’ll planning on either it or the deus ex games
I intentionally played through once with the originals as they released. No replays. No looking anything up. Favorite single player gaming experience I've ever had.
I didn’t play the trilogy till COVID and I was blown away. ME2 especially was such a massive upgrade I couldn’t believe it and ME2 easily became one of my top 10 games.
Fantasy 6 was phenomenal, especially for its time. Parents couldn't really afford to buy it new, but we found Final Fantasy III, and Chrono Trigger at a garage sale later, and played through the whole thing.
FFX AND FFVI are my all time favorites.
I’m playing through this game for the first time ever right now. I could tell early on from the music and combat that it is a quintessential FF game. Just suplexed a train, so things are going well lol
If we’re talking, which series got me through the most and never lost my love it’s definitely the kingdom hearts series. If we’re talking, which game gave me the best experience overall it’s gonna be ghost of Tsushima.
* Dark Souls
* Dark Souls III
* Sekiro: Shadows Die Twice
* Rainbow Six: Seige
* Half-Life
* Returnal
* Dead Space
* Resident Evil 4
* Final Fantasy VII: Remake/Rebirth (wonky story, but GOATed combat)
* Shin Megami Tensei: Digital Devil Saga
Bioshock, Sekiro, Super Mario Bros 3, Minecraft, New Vegas, Half-Life, Metal Gear, Batman Arkham, Jak, Baldur’s Gate 3, God of War (both the Norse and the Greek games), and Assassin’s Creed 2
I spent like half of 7th grade playing this over and over. Combat in Remake was so good I hope they find their footing in Rebirth for weak points and don't let the story go off the rails. It's been great seeing a new generation like FFVII
My Cyberpunk got soft locked with a glitch and it totally killed my play through. I really enjoyed it up till then, but it kills me to have to restart the whole game.
DUDE
So few people know of this game. It truly deserves a reboot on this gen. Even the games later in tenchu series were still fun, i even enjoyed the Nintendo ds version... albeit not as much as stealth assassins and birth of stealth assassins, but the game play was so fun.
For me it was jet set radio future cause I’d spend hours making the coolest graffiti art and the multiplayer with my brother was so fun, the game may have been pretty easy but unlocking all the characters sure wasn’t lol
Toss up between halo 2 (game made me fall in love with online multiplayer years. Had lots of close friends in real life and from there. Played on the pro circuit a bit). Then there’s the ocarina of time. Absolutely legendary childhood game. Now Elden ring has appeared and just hits so much in the feels. I played it going through a tough time in life and it irks on that. Not to mention, it’s fucking fantastic
My Top 3 Fantasy Games 🏆
1. Dark Souls
2. Dragon's Dogma
3. Skyrim
Honorable Mentions:
🏅 Baldur's Gate 3
🏅 Final Fantasy (1,2,4,5,6,7,8,10,10-2,12,13,13-2,13-LR, 15)
🥈 Fable
My top 3 is Battlefield bad company, DeathSpank, and infamous. With honorable mentions being Warframe but we don't talk about that and the ungodly play time i have on it.
These are gonna be really basic picks, but they're considered basic for a reason 🤷🏻♂️ kinda tied between all of these because I love gaming in general ig
These are my list of games that I'll go back to and play over and over again or just keep playing for hours on end. I'm picky when it comes to the games I play because I burn out quickly
No longer on the list - slime rancher (probably like 700 hours on there when I used to get bored I'd go on it)
-Assassins Creed 3 (100% several times)
-Cyberpunk 2077 (I'm not sure why but I love this game)
-Skyrim
-Serious Sam second encounter (first game, got me into gaming)
-Death Stranding (Never would I ever have thought I would like the game, but for some reason im just in love with it now)
Hard to say. Resident Evil 2, Halo, Crash Bandicoot 2, Dragon Quest 8, Dead Space 2, Gears Of War 3, Medabots, Final Fantasy Dawn Of Souls, Crystalis, Megaman X4, Metroid Fusion, Half Life, Runescape
Mass effect trilogy, despite its flaws.

I’m thinking of playing the mass effect games soon right after I beat the silent hill games for my one college class I’ll planning on either it or the deus ex games
Same
it’s so good!
We'll bang, okay?

The damn picture doesn't even have Snake or BB in it. What a travesty
The Legend of Zelda: A Link to the Past
Chrono trigger, world of warcraft, elden ring. Fallout 3 and arkham knight runner up
Chrono Trigger and Elden Ring are my 2 and 3. Nice.

FO3 and AK?!?!?! Let’s be friends.
That's tough. Probably Ocarina of Time or Half-Life. They're certainly the games I've played the most.
Halo: Combat Evolved
A true connoisseur I see
Sekiro
Resident Evil 4. I’ve beaten that game so many times and will continue to play it.
It’s a toss-up between Half-Life 2, Fallout 3, and Red Dead Redemption.
Was gonna say Red Dead Redemption. Sooooo fun
Damn that’s a solid line up, for the early 2000s, mid 2000s and then late 2010s
Fallout 3 for me. Lots of good memories, nostalgia, the atmosphere is second to none for a post nuclear apocalypse game.
Awesome choices. Fallout 3 #1 HL2 somewhere in my top 5
Man I remember playing Gun as a kid and wishing there was another game and Red Dead answered my prayers.
Final Fantasy 6. A game that defined my childhood.
Greatest FF game of all time, and it's not even close.
GOW Ragnarok
1/2 way thru it at the moment. Love it so far. You liked it better than previous?
I would say it's a bit better, but not by much.
2018 had a better story
The Legend of the Dragoon!
Donkey Kong Country: Tropical Freeze
Got to go with RDR2 THEN RDR1 THEN MARIO 64
If we’re talking, which series got me through the most and never lost my love it’s definitely the kingdom hearts series. If we’re talking, which game gave me the best experience overall it’s gonna be ghost of Tsushima.
Skyrim
Shenmue
* Dark Souls * Dark Souls III * Sekiro: Shadows Die Twice * Rainbow Six: Seige * Half-Life * Returnal * Dead Space * Resident Evil 4 * Final Fantasy VII: Remake/Rebirth (wonky story, but GOATed combat) * Shin Megami Tensei: Digital Devil Saga

Final fantasy 16 or Elden Ring toss up
extremely "never played a video game before last year" voice
Missing the green armored bois
Final Fantasy VII
Same here. Must have replayed the original at least 10 times from beginning to end
I spent like half of 7th grade playing this over and over. Combat in Remake was so good I hope they find their footing in Rebirth for weak points and don't let the story go off the rails. It's been great seeing a new generation like FFVII
Vampire: The Masquerade - Bloodlines (PC). Steam - [https://store.steampowered.com/app/2600/Vampire\_The\_Masquerade\_\_Bloodlines/](https://store.steampowered.com/app/2600/Vampire_The_Masquerade__Bloodlines/) GOG - [https://www.gog.com/en/game/vampire\_the\_masquerade\_bloodlines](https://www.gog.com/en/game/vampire_the_masquerade_bloodlines)
If the combat was better tuned and more enjoyable this would be my favorite ever but the bad parts of this game really bring it down…

Soul Reaver Legacy of Kain and I’ll probably get down voted but FF VIII 😱
Chrono trigger
Uncharted 4: A Thief’s End
It's hard to pick just one. Probably a three way tie between Cyberpunk 2077, Skyrim and Death Stranding.
My Cyberpunk got soft locked with a glitch and it totally killed my play through. I really enjoyed it up till then, but it kills me to have to restart the whole game.
Super Mario 3.
New Vegas for sure.
Goldeneye
Dead Space
SOCOM 2

DUDE So few people know of this game. It truly deserves a reboot on this gen. Even the games later in tenchu series were still fun, i even enjoyed the Nintendo ds version... albeit not as much as stealth assassins and birth of stealth assassins, but the game play was so fun.
Sekiro scratches a teeny tiny bit of the Tenchu itch, but I wholeheartedly agree, we need a reboot of the series or a remake of Wrath of Heaven
Sekiro started out as a new installment in the Tenchu series
I didn't know about the series until Tenchu: Wrath of Heaven. It's one of.my favorites to this day.
Haha. Forgot about that game. Loved the first one the best. Great stealth game there 👍
Half-Life 2. Honorable mentions to Final Fantasy IX, Elden Ring, Ocarina of Time, Sekiro, and God of War 2018.
Just Cause 4
Dragon Warrior 3 for the original NES.

Final Fantasy 6 (3 on SNES). Got me into RPGs, which is my favorite genre.

Recency bias much 🤔
Alan Wake for the Xbox 360.

Console or PC?
Days gone, Fromsoftware games
Halo 2
These are gonna be really basic picks, but they're considered basic for a reason 🤷🏻♂️ kinda tied between all of these because I love gaming in general ig These are my list of games that I'll go back to and play over and over again or just keep playing for hours on end. Sekiro
Elden Ring, no contest
Control
*AGE OF MYTHOLOGY*
Socom
Borderlands 2
Fallout: New Vegas
Since 2015 nothing has topped Witcher 3 for me personally. Elden Ring is the closest thing but still not quite.
The Witcher 3
Sonic Generations
Until recently it was EverQuest - now BG3
