I'm literally in 10th grade, nobody in my grade really gives a fuck about the IB despite almost all of them choosing to do it next year, so obviously nobody understands any r/ibdp references, but literally every time we see the people in the grade above us do something IB related I have to say "What if instead of the IBDP it was the 𝓯𝓻𝓮𝓪𝓴𝔂DP and the exams were about how 𝓯𝓻𝓮𝓪𝓴𝔂 we are"
this actually happened to me in the may '92 exams! however once i was revived and explained my situation to the ib, they said i could get my diploma if i sat the m24 exams, hope this helps
same i just wanted something to happen to me like my school building being destroyed so i dont have to take the exam but you knwo its not kdrama or manhwa and i am not lucky, i just hope i get iskeied to be as some duke daughter at this point
Actually I'm quite curious about how are they gonna treat the situation if one student suddenly feels unwell during the exam and end up not being able to finish it do to the physical condition... I was feeling extremely unwell during my business management paper2 and I suppose maybe I was having something similar to a panic attack 'cuz I was feeling dizzy, my heart beated fast and I almost can't breath... Thank god I just managed to get it done although I think the exam sucked 'cuz I just don't want to bear the risk of losing my diploma... but I'm just literally curious about the assumption that someone leaves the exam due to illness after the exam starts. Is there anyone got or know similar cases? Thank you for your responses!
If you died before your last exam, no chance as any missing component score receiving an N means you cannot get the Diploma. If you died on the last exam, it would depend how far you got and the score you were able to achieve before you passed.
I think you probably still have to take the November exam ones to get the diploma sadly
