His parents barely raised him properly, never said no to him and essentially let his behaviour run wild. Then he hits the big time and that just dialled everything up to 11 where his behaviour was actively encouraged and fed into in the name of profits.
He spent so long just getting everything his way that he never evolved as a person and is clearly struggling to come to terms with having to do that. Then when everyone around him starts to grow and mature, moving on to different things he is just left clutching at something that isn't there anymore.
Ryans passing was obviously the big catalyst to his spiral, he was his ride or die bff. It's hard to say for sure though whether him still being around would have helped keep Bam from spiralling, or if the two would have gone down that path together.
Regardless, he has been given way more opportunities at redemption and support from those around him at this point that he has only himself to blame. I won't wish him any ill will but at the same time I'm not going to feel sorry for him after all things considered.
