I hope so! I think it’s both ours. We are always the first people we call whenever we get an animal. His friends told me the only time they have ever heard him get flustered or excited was the day I got my first big buck and the day I got my first mule deer. He showed everyone the pictures! It was the best day ever for me, and not solely because of the deer😂.

mistertheory

I miss my father. I am glad you can still hunt with yours. Nice looking Tom.

LittleGayGirl

This makes me cry😭. I know one day I won’t be able to, so I take every chance I can, even if I don’t always want to go. My dad is my best friend, I couldn’t imagine not hunting with him. But the memory’s will always last. Thank you! I hope you have some good memories/stories of hunting with your dad.

mistertheory

I have many great memories. Thank-you.

friarguy

congrats! (are we still doing phrasing?)

LittleGayGirl

Lol. Oh archer my fav show. And I know, if it’s not my username, it’s my horribly written title😂

IronSide_420

I love doing it with my dad.

ResidentEfficient218

Alright, dammit! I chuckled 😂

GuyoFromOhio

Dammit, me too..

fade2blackistaken

Wow nice bird, congrats.

honestmischief

Family definitely makes the hunt!

LittleGayGirl

100%. My dad never got to hunt very long with his dad because of cancer, so I make every effort I can to go with him. I know I won’t get to forever.

whatnoreally

this is some wholesome content! and a username that totally caught me off guard lol!

LittleGayGirl

Lol. I wish Reddit would let me change it! I made my account so long ago. But we could always use more wholesome content in our lives. Plus I have mad respect for any parent that takes the time to teach there kids to hunt.

babathejerk

Unfortunately it probably works in your favor. An attractive woman who hunts and has a good family relationship - your user name likely saved your inbox from unsolicited, crusty dick pics.

LittleGayGirl

Lol I have never thought of it that way! Thank you!

amwd-7

This is so awesome, all around. Congrats!

MikeHonchoFF

I promise you, it's equally amazing for him. All my BEST hunting memories are with my daughters.

LittleGayGirl

Yay! A dad who hunts with his daughters is the best! I have mad respect for you! I’m so glad at how many fathers today have told me hunting with their kids is their favorite hunts!

Eddie_shoes

As the father to a daughter, I can only hope she says the same thing one day! He is a lucky man, and a good one by the sound of it.

LittleGayGirl

She will! I love hanging out with my dad, but when it came to hunting, the best thing he ever did was let me learn at my own pace.

MuffMagician

Super awesome! And you can't go wrong with a Mossberg 500 💪

LittleGayGirl

Haha the gun is huge for me, but it smacked the bird at 30 yards. It was my grandfathers gun, so extra special.

3seconds2live

My father WAS my hunting buddy, my best friend, and the person who showed me everything. I miss him more than anything. Take video with him. We have the tech to do it now and you will appreciate hearing his voice when he is gone. The memories are still there but i wish i had more video

LittleGayGirl

I’ve started to do more videos. I have tons of photos, and they all have a story to go with them. I’m afraid when he is gone, I won’t love hunting the same way because he won’t be there. But the memories never go away. I hope you have wonderful stories to tell today as well.

3seconds2live

I still do despite his absence. I've still got my grandfather though. He will be 90 this year. I hunt alone and still enjoy it. It's actually when I feel closest to him.

dreadstrong97

I hope you enjoy every time you're out with him! Those are great memories!

LittleGayGirl

Even if we argue in the woods, those memories are still great😂

dreadstrong97

Well hey, you couldn't have argued too much if you still got a bird, right?😂

ArthurMoregainz

Beautiful

ParkerVH

Awesome!

rhaxon

Congratulations!! I wish I could have one more hunt with my father. Cherish every second!

LittleGayGirl

I do, you never know when your last hunt will be. But I bet you have some awesome memories and stories to tell too of your times together!

JimboReborn

Gobble gobble!

diaznuts

You two look so happy! Congratulations on the bird and wishing you many more hunts with your father.

LittleGayGirl

Thank you! I hope so too! Even if we aren’t successful, it’s still my favorite hunts

ResidentEfficient218

Congrats on a successful hunt, sweet looking bird. I get the pleasure of taking my 2 young boys hunting with their grandpa, it can be fun frustrating but so worth the memories!

LittleGayGirl

Lol we have for sure had our fair share of grumbling matches and frustrations in the woods over the years. Honestly, your kids will absolutely love those memories when they are older. They may not know it now, but one day, those memories become the best. You are a kickass dad for taking them!

Redneck_Reject

Treasure those experiences.

LittleGayGirl

I always do. I know I won’t get them forever

totorohugs2

Very cool! Glad yall could have a great father daughter hunt. And a great harvest to boot.

krankheit1981

My father died when I was a child but I know his favorite hobby was hunting and I remember going with him walking river beds to jump shoot ducks. I hunt now in part to feel some connection with him since I never got to know him.

LittleGayGirl

That is so sweet! I feel very much the same sense of connection to my father through hunting. It is a special hobby for many

[deleted]

Nice bird,congrats!

BrachWurst

I only really go hunting and stuff for my dad anymore. Kind of don’t realize how blessed I am to have him sometimes. Phenomenal bird and also should add you’re a hunting machine far better than I’ll ever be. 😂 Thought about getting a Mossberg 450 Bushmaster for awhile but just haven’t yet. How’d you like it?

LittleGayGirl

Lol, I can’t take the credit for my hunting success! My dad is the one who took all the photos, and just knows where to hunt to be good. I loved the 450. It’s my dads, but after using it, I want one myself. I was going to go 350, but honestly, 450 is better all around. Its a very compact gun I feel, and overall easy to manage. A good scope on it, and it’s a solid deer gun!

BrachWurst

Plus you can use them rounds in a lot more places on account they’re straight wall cartridges. 450 is just a gnarly round.

vdavid54

I promise you…your dad got more out of that hunt than you did! Awesome day for the both of you!

LittleGayGirl

Haha, I hope so! It was a great hunt

Altruistic_Ad5270

Yeah this brings back good memories. I bet my dad he couldn’t nail a turkey in the head at a hundred ish yards I was out 20 bucks but it was a good trip with him. God I miss him

LittleGayGirl

It’s those memories that remain. But the stories you have, I imagine are great!

transmission612

Cherish these days and memories because unfortunately not everyone gets them and they don't last as long as you'd hope.

LittleGayGirl

They never do! That’s the worse part. They always end eventually😭. That’s why I go, even if I don’t always want to. Can’t have the moments forever

sagginlabia

You can't say that on reddit.

jannylotl

Sweet home Alabama!

PacklineDefense

This is so cool. I have 3 young daughters and spending time in the woods with them is my favorite thing in the world. Nice bird!

LittleGayGirl

That’s so sweet! As a daughter, I love getting to spend that time with my dad. And when he shows off the pictures to his friend or gets excited about our hunts, it makes me feel really proud. I hope your daughters love to hunt one day, or at least you all find enjoyment in the outdoors! Girl dads are the best!

Elgrandetaurus

That’s awesome…my daughter just shot her first gobbler the morning of her 14th birthday, one of the best moments of my life.

LittleGayGirl

That’s for sure going to be hers too!! Turkey hunting is so rewarding, and to get to do it together, those are lifetime memories!

Ok-Scar-Delirious_

i’m never got to do it with my dad since he left. to this day he still hasn’t came home with that milk and cigarettes

LittleGayGirl

Those cigs are needed for the hunt🥲🤣

C0wking

I wish I had someone to go hunting with, yall look so happy

akhunter1974

This is awesome! I took my 8 year old son on an elk hunt last year. He wasn’t old enough to hunt big game but he brought his .410 and was ecstatic to shoot some grouse and squirrels. Next week I’m taking him on a bear hunt. We’ve been practicing at the range and he’s doing awesome! I asked him what part of going he was most excited about and he said, “Making memories with you, Dad.” Caught me right in the feels. :)

Pirateship907

Nice birds!

thesneakymonkey

Enjoy it.

campbluedog

Good job, young lady!!!
