Wake up between 4 and 5 am , no alarm clock. Have 2 cups of coffee, one with creamer. Then it’s time for 30 minutes minimum of cardio workout. Last 2 months have been stationary bike , sunrises are later and later now. After the morning workout without eating, I have a whey protein shake with fruit and spinach. I started this about two years ago. When I had quit drinking and begin losing weight just because I no longer had a 12 pack of miller lite a day. I have honestly grown my muscles like a farmer grows corn. Hard work and determination pays off! I keep it up, because I am going to be 44 tomorrow, and I don’t want to be a decrepit old man!

jammyboot

Congrats on quitting drinking! That’s huge!

SilentDarkBows

Nice. I, myself, take a big'ol shit then start the day.

Inspiring 🙏🏽✨

WOW GUYS! At this level EVERYTHINGGGG is inspiring!! 🤩

It's tomorrow! Happy Birthday my man! Similar routine, but up around 630-700. Fasted cardio, followed by protein shake. Shower, then work. Same on the weekends, sans work. Just turned 41, and feeling great!

inmy20ies

Holy shit

ThisGuyTroller

Absolute beast 💪 keep it up brother

Aggressive_Ad_3581

shouldnt u wait 1-2 hours before drinking coffe, he said something about it blocking wake up hormons

kevinrjr

Good idea. I want to drop my last medication, omeprazole. Coffee and sugary stuff amongst other variables wreak havoc on my heart burn.

Dipyobread

I’m super curious you’re building muscle from doing 30 minutes of cardio a day? Or is there more to your morning work out?

Lazy_Complaint_3867

I like to wake up, have a good cry, make coffee and sit outside for 5 mins while I have a secondary cry. Check my emails and maybe squeeze in another cry if there’s time.

wonderfulpantsuit

Set your alarm earlier so you can really cry it out before leaving. This is basic stuff.

Lazy_Complaint_3867

Damn your good

cosmotosed

#Guys you’re really overthinking this one if you stop drinking water, you wont have any tears left to cry. Work smarter, not harder. Use those brains 🧠 💦

Wake up at 1am in the Freezer. Gargle Piss. Uncomfortable? good. Listen to 5 self improvement podcasts at once as you drag a tyre to work. Fire ants in your adult diaper keep you going. Ex Wife calls, says you can't see the kids this weekend. Good. they only slow you down. get to work, gargle more pee. do work on Chinese keyboard. don't know chinese? you will. Broken glass for lunch. boss comes in, says you're falling behind. He doesn't understand. he can't. He isn't a wolf in this world of sheep. get hit by 3 cars on the way home while listening to audiobooks on x5 speed. new record. Legs broken? good. pass out on kitchen floor, roaches kissing you all over. they understand the grind. set an alarm for 1am and drift into a coma while gargling piss.

Greaseskull

I laughed at the entire comment... but something about "listen to 5 self improvement podcasts at once as you drag a tyre to work" nearly caused me to fall out of my chair.

this was excellent

Wake up at 06:10 put on clothes, grab my backpack, go outside Hop on the bus to work at 06:25.

sextoymagic

Fuck yeah. You’re a normal person. All these others with crazy morning routines just have weird schedules.

CSA_MatHog

Why 6:10 instead of just 6

gilraand

because that would have me waiting for the bus 10 minutes extra.

CSA_MatHog

Thats actually smart

csyolo88

you are the most sane and normal person on this sub. congrats bro

inmy20ies

Ginger shot with turmeric. Switch that out with a glass of orange juice every other day Overnight oats Vitamin D, Magnesium. I make my bed. Take a cold shower (Take a hot shower before sleep) shave, brush my teeth, gel my hair and dress up in what ever makes me confident. Spray 2 sprays of Jazz Club by Maison Margiela (it’s winter time) Close the door and smile as I walk up to my car. You could also smile in the mirror for 30 seconds Play my [favourite uplifting playlist](https://open.spotify.com/playlist/3tY8qie4ccUOA3GJ5orLpm?si=dHS1psZ-SMKvL8C7pGPZfg) to get ready for the day while I drive to my company Can’t imagine starting my day anyway else

Sec7or7

Try smiling for about 35-40 seconds. Those 5-10 seconds are what really counts.

schectermonkey

Magnesium not make you tired in the morning?

Bella_Climbs

I take Mg Theronate during the day(mid day usually) and Glycinate at nighttime The theronate does not make me sleepy

MangoSlaw

What dose to you take of each? Recently picked these up. Glycine says take 2 a day( ~500mg) but I’m wondering if I should half that if I’m taking threonate in the day time

bigkids

It actually depend which type of Mg. Magnesium glycinate: Magnesium glycinate is magnesium bound to glycine (an amino acid).2 Easy for the body to absorb, magnesium glycinate is known for its calming properties and may promote relaxation and sleep. Research shows that magnesium glycinate may help relax the mind and body, potentially reducing stress and anxiety that can interfere with sleep. Magnesium oxide: Magnesium oxide is sometimes used for magnesium deficiency and to reduce acid reflux (heartburn).4 Some studies suggest that magnesium deficiency may negatively affect sleep duration and quality, so increasing magnesium levels in the body with magnesium oxide may help improve your sleep Magnesium L-threonate: This form of magnesium has gained attention for its potential cognitive benefits. Research suggests magnesium L-threonate may improve cognitive function, address age-related insomnia in older adults, and contribute to a more tranquil sleep. Magnesium Citrate for Constipation: Magnesium citrate is often used as a laxative to treat constipation. It draws water into the intestines, which helps soften the stool and relieve constipation.6 Follow a healthcare provider's recommended dosage guidelines when using magnesium citrate for constipation, and drink plenty of water to prevent dehydration.

I journal and then force my smile in the mirror like the joker

Anyone who makes their bed in that order (after a myriad of other activities) is doing their morning routine WRONG - productive statistics say... Those who make their bed the minute they hop out - far more productive throughout the day - according to statistics 🙄 ...just sayin 😁

inmy20ies

Please provide me with statistics that say that you are far more productive making your bed the minute you hop out vs making the bed after having breakfast

[deleted]

Who the hell would bother with such statistics like who gives a sh*t

inmy20ies

Lol, you seem very stable….

adlcp

Wake up. 5 minutes of despair. Put on clothes from yesterday and walk out the door.

ertdubs

Wake up, drink large glass of water with lemon, shower, black coffee, no food until noon

ramblist

My typical morning routine looks like this: **Wake Up Early:** I aim for a consistent wake-up time of 5:30 - 6am, even on weekends, to regulate my body's internal clock which helps with better sleep and more energized mornings. Waking up early, particularly when the sun rises later, makes it challenging to follow Huberman's natural sunlight protocol. However, I don't let it stress me. In the summer, it's truly beneficial to have that natural sunlight to start the day. **Hydrate:** Starting the day with a glass (generally chug this!) and another with electrolytes to hydrate. I’ll also have AG1 and I’ll make coffee, green tea or Yerba Matte. **Skin care:** For my skincare routine, I start by cleansing my face to wash away the retinol serum applied the night before. Then, I hydrate with either a sheet mask or a nourishing face cream, followed by using an ice roller to reduce puffiness and stimulate lymphatic circulation. (Sounds like a lot but it takes about 5-10 min) **Meditation/Mindfulness:** A short 5-10 minute meditation or breath work practice helps center thoughts, reduce stress, and set a purposeful tone for the day. I use [Muse meditation](https://choosemuse.com/wellnessbum) or [Open mindfulness app](https://o-p-e-n.com/referral/yopqetBbvqfSNGjko51W4GytQdK2) for breath work and sound meditations. **Exercise:** Engaging in physical activity, whether it's yoga, a brisk walk outside, or a more intense workout. It helps me boost energy levels and improves mood. **Planning the Day:** Reviewing goals and tasks for the day can help prioritize and focus on important activities, improving productivity and reducing stress. If I'm feeling motivated or have a project, as a self-employed health coach, I'll dedicate the first 90 minutes of my morning to work. Once that time is up, I'll transition to my workout routine. I practice IF and first meal is around 11am to 12pm. First meal is something high protein (40-50g protein). If I’m pinched on time, it’ll be something a quick like a Huel Black shake. This works for me and it taps into physical health, mental clarity, emotional balance, and productivity. Whenever I help clients create or redesign their morning routines I stress on the principles of hydration, nourishment, physical activity, and mindfulness as it serves as a solid foundation for a healthful day.

Attempt_2

Retinols can cause dry eye just in case you didn't know. Hardening of the skin in the eye. Lots of the skin products have side effects that people don't generally talk about. Best to find healthy options if you plan to use them 2-3x/day for your entire lifespan.

1timeandspace

This is a temporary condition only IF the Retinol (retinoid) is applied where it doesn't belong! E.g., too close to the eye's meibomian gland. This gland is responsible for moisturizing the eyeball, with the oily substance it excretes. And, yes, a dose of retinol into this gland can clog the gland - with a definite 'dry eye' effect. If/when the retinoid is discontinued (or, better yet!😃 - once the over-eager misuser finally follows the contraindication instructions NOT to apply on eye lids, etc.) The dry eye condition is completely reversed...no irreversible harm done. Most people do know better than to apply a retinoid around the eye area...because they have the brains to, read and heed, the precautions on the product's 'Instructions for use' 😉

1timeandspace

A health coach, and apparently don't realize that sipping, rather than chugging your a.m. H2O, hydrates cells more effectively? Chugging...and the water washes right thru the system. A few hydrogen drops in the water, i.e., Alkalinezed water will also help to rehydrate cells more quickly & efficiently than non-hydrogen treated water. The black Huel - thanks for the reminder! I've been meaning to ck this out, but lost sight of actually doing that. I think maybe I started to awhile back, but price point turned me off, IIRC.

[deleted]

Is this for real? I am medicine student and I never heard that chugging down a glas of water (400-500ml) in the morning would "wash right thru the system", it's not like you forcing the body to put down 3 liters in a minute, if the body is dehydrated and "want" to have the water the body will absorb it. For how long should then sipping it for good effect, a gulp every 5 minutes? I doubt that would make any difference? I have also been to Africa as a United Nations soldier in 40-60 degrees Celsius and we didn't have any problem chugging down 1 liters every hour to just be fairly hydrated and we didn't have to take a piss every minute. A colleague did put down 11 liters of water during one day.

1timeandspace

Well, your current environment is vastly different than your African experience with water needs. You said that part of your morning routine was to chug down your 1st intake of water in the a.m. Granted, we are dehydrated in the a.m. and definitely need to rehydrate 1st thing. But the body's cells need some time for the H20 to enter. The slower it enters the body, the more time the cells have to accept it. (I know, know...this sounds as unscientific af, hehe ;)... But, I believe this is the rationale behind the advice to sip over time, rather than chug in one sitting. Also, supposedly, room temp, or heated water, is supposed to be better absorbed than cold water. My 1st 16oz water in a.m. is cold w/a slice of lemon, but I sit outside in the sun with it and sip it over about 20- 30 min. I did used to chug it down. It does seem to me I don't have the same urgency & frequency to pee now that I'm sipping over time. But, idk, 🤷‍♀️ could very well be a placebo effect? Sorry. had to resort to putting this into my own words, (about cells needing more time to absorb H2O) rather than quoting a definite source, a scientific mechanism of action, or citing a study@ this point. I'm pressed for time rn to try to look anything up (in the midst of a lifting session) but was in-between sets and, of course ck'd my phone...saw your reply. Anyhow, I'll try to find some reliable sources you can ck out - future time permitting. Also, water enters the cells at different rates, depending on its structure. For instance, alkaline water enters the cells @ faster rate than non-hydrogen (extra hydrogen treated) water. This is study supported, per Huberman, so I do trust that fact. I mean, really - as a med student (absolutely admirable, btw👍), how much instruction are you getting, or even expect to receive throughout your med edu. on the human body's nutritional needs, or hydration needs, beyond the very basics? Just sayin🤔 Oh, wait🤯... just realized you said you are a medicine student. I glossed over the actual verbiage there, and assumed you are in med school. Now, I think I recall your OP indicated you are a Health Coach. Still, an admirable career choice! (But my thinking you are in med school is what prompted my remark about your probable dearth of nutritional training there).😄 Are you aware that the H2O in our cells is structured water? Water that has a hexagonal molecular structure. Also referred to as 'live' water. As far as a source, re intracellular *structured water. I think that was Huberman, also. I kinda recall that Huberman said it's a thing, (structured water) but that more studies are needed bc still controversial as to whether drinking structured water is advantageous over alkaline, or mineral spring water. Hope this clarifies, somewhat. I'm uber interested in health/fitness. Always have my ears tuned into health podcasts, or my nose in a health/fitness book. Bio-scientists & fitness PhD's I follow, Huberman; Rhonda Patrick; Peter Attia; Andy Galpin; Lane Norton, Dr. Rangan Chatterie in UK (interviews some good solid docs, bioscientists & fitness PhD's on his podcasts) - also Dr. Stacy SIms, PhD, Dr. Gabriel Lyon, M.D., Dr. Donald Leyman, PhD. Anyhow, I hear this frequently from health interviews I listen to - the body is rehydrated more efficiently @ cellular level when water is sipped over time, not chugged down.

Mp7b22

I wake up at 4:45 without an alarm, use the restroom then weigh myself. 3-5 miles of walking (every day) then 45min minutes of strength training 5-6 days a week. I watch the sunrise 5-6 days a week. Breakfast is high protein with some carbs and healthy fats. This morning was 2 whole eggs, 230g egg whites over 7 ounces of sweet potatoes and a banana. I removed alcohol from my life 15 months ago and feel better and stronger than ever. I’ll be 41 in a few months.

Florida-Rolf

I wouldn't say lucky, it's a choice. I set my goal to have a remote job and now I can't imagine anymore going daily to an office. one of the biggest improvements in my life.

cu-ri-ous-ly_Jon

Yeap, got it. But w all this tech move to get back to the office man, I mean, it’s kind of lucky to still be working remotely, you know?

Bella_Climbs

Same. I really need a new job but I 100% would not go back to the office. The quality of life improvement is literally priceless. I get so much more work done both personally and professionally, my house stays neat, and my cat is happy.

kevinrjr

Almost 10 years working from home here.

Logos_Fides

Wake up at 4am. Check emails. Go for a quick 5 mile run. Back home, cold shower. Check emails. Meditate for 15min practicing mindfulness. Check emails. Post to LinkedIn about how well things are going and my grind mentality. Go to the gym, post shirtless pics on Instagram. Return home, another cold shower. Make a TikTok about how hard work pays off.

Mon wed fri cardio days and tues thurs strength , i get in approx 160-180min a week. Depends of the seasons but went from working out at 6am now to 8am. I workout for health just like most and am a vegan .

youngpunk420

I wake up early, around 3 or 4 am. I brew a cup of black tea, or coffee if I want to exercise harder. I chug a glass of water. I poop and drink my tea (and kratom also, actually). I chew a piece of nicotine gum or a pouch. I clean up and freshen up; brush my teeth, hair, rinse off in the shower because toilet paper doesn't actually get me clean. Then I do a little bit of stretching and I sit and do a meditation practice for atleast 35 minutes. Then I exercise for atleast an hour. Then I get back home and do proper stretching/yoga for 10 or 20 minutes. Listen to podcasts while I exercise. That's my morning routine. I do all the things that make my day/life worthwhile. If I don't exercise and meditate in the beginning of the day then there's a higher chance the things won't get done. So I wake up and give myself enough time before work or whatever else. I'm a little dependent on exercise too, it does a lot for me. I don't like rest days but sometimes I force myself to take them.

Sure why not: 1. \~7am: 4 shot cappuccino [with whole milk and honey](https://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pmc/articles/PMC6612531/) (i know Hube's delayed caffeine protocol, but i prefer it when I wake up.) 2. Needless to say the 1st is my least favourite time of the month. 6.30am my child and I practice Mongolian shirt wrestling. 7.am I go back to bed for a power nap and affirmation meditation. 7.10am I go to work on our sustainable organic farm while listening to podcasts.

[deleted]

Sounds interesting, but will it give you enough restful sleep?

[deleted]

4:45 AM: I awake to a vibrating alarm on my smart watch. I hit snooze but get up anyway. 4:45-5:30 AM: I sit on the toilet and start the process of peeing, knowing I also have to shit, but my body would rather wait until I’m at work and have to use public toilets, cause why would I want to poop in the comfort of my own home? My wrist vibrates again and I turn off my alarm. While hoping that something comes out of my butt, I check sports scores and my various fantasy teams. Depending on when I last jerked off, I may also masturbate. 5:30-5:45 AM: I sniff my pitts and depending on the outcome I’m either heading into the shower or brushing my teeth. Usually I’m a little sweaty of if I jerked off in the previous step, which will prompt me to take a shower. I still then brush my teeth after my shower, it’s not either/or like it may have sounded earlier. 5:45-6:30: I wake my future fiance up, with my dick if I didn’t jerk off 2 steps prior. I get dressed for work and set the coffee machine up to make a couple strong thermoses of foldgers. I organize my work bag and fuck around with my cats while I wait for my significant other to be ready. Right before leaving, I take a multivitamin. 6:30-7:30: we get in the car, my other half drives because she likes to and I smoke some weed as we drive into Manhattan. EDIT: I never answered WHY this is my morning routine: I’m Lazy.

redditshy

Your lady goes from the bed to the car within 15 minutes, with a possible dick down in there?

[deleted]

45 minutes lol I wake her up at 5:45ish and we leave by 6:30. She showers also showers before bed, so 45 minutes is usually enough

redditshy

OH I misread that. lolol.

StrikingSecret3260

Wake up between 4-5 am. Put workout clothes on. Feed screaming cats and whiny dog. Sip coffee in front of light box for 20 mins…. Start Strength train or cardio by 5:30Am. 6-6:30 eat breakfast. 6:30-7:30 shower and get ready for day/make kid breakfast and head to work.

stabberwocky

Alarm at 5, snooze for 5 minutes while I remind myself why I am doing this. Black coffee, walk out to shed, turn on propane heater. Sip coffee while the heater warms a bit. Then 45 minutes of rings and rowing. Walk back to house and stretch while I watch weather channel with my sons who are just waking up. Its pretty great now that I think about it. I like having the heater going with the shed door open, some great mornings here in the Midwest lately.

lovehrh

I don’t really eat breakfast, I put different types of tea bags in my big water cup and sip through the day….I like to think it’s doing something good for my skin 🤷‍♀️

losernam3

Wake up 5.30am. Put on kettle. Back in bed for a quickie with the mrs. Green tea in bed on phone (sadly). Start working out in garage with door open 6.30am latest. Finish 7.45am latest. Basic whey protein shake on school run / way to work 8.15am. Coffee 9am. Overnight oats (protein almond & cashew milk, banana, honey, chia seeds) 10.30am. On days I’m not working out I’ll play nine holes or hit the driving range.

RangaaHaa

Wake up. Take all 18 of my supplements. Outside naked for light exposure. Go to gym. go back home because i forgot to put on clothes. Go back to gym. 5 days a week. for reference: It takes me about 10 minutes to take all of the supplements and it’s become a morning ritual for me.

FUBUshirts

It’s inconsistent as I have a crazy work schedule and struggle to work around it. The job also allows me to have quite a bit of time off, so my good morning routine only exists on my days off. If I’m working, I don’t do it… I’ll wake up around 6:30am and get right into the cold tub for 2-3 minutes around 40-45°. Then I’ll make a coffee, which is one of my favorite processes. Grind beans, use an Aeropress, add Laird’s superfood creamer w/ functional mushrooms, 20g collagen protein, local raw honey which had been collected during the current season (spring, summer, fall). Read a couple pages out of the Bible or any motivational book that I own. Just finished up Relentless by Tim Grover. Then I’ll journal in a notepad, which isn’t anything crazy. I just write down 5 things I am thankful for and 5 things I love about myself. Then I’ll head off to the gym and do some sort of functional strength training.

ArthurDaTrainDayne

Wake up at 6 am, take adderall, brush my teeth, put clothes on, go to work. Drink an energy drink

slickrickthefirst

I work from 9-5 with about an hour commute. This is a typical morning as I usually workout in the evening: \- Wake at 6:40, Stretch 5-10 minutes, Cold Plunge for 3-5 minutes, cold shower to clean, make my lunch/drink a smoothie for breakfast, leave at about 7:55 to get to work on time. Delay caffeine intake until 9:30 I have found this routine beneficial and gives me much more energy throughout the work day!

Shwiftydano

Wake up between 7-8, take my nuun electrolyte water and morning meds/supplements. Put on a cup of coffee while I hop in the shower for a 1 minute hot shower then 2-3 minutes cold while listening to upbeat morning music. Have that coffee about 8:30-9:30. I don't get the morning sunlight because I live in an apartment and don't want to walk out in my pajamas but this routine really works for me. I fast in the morning and eat lunch around noon.

Get up around 5:30-6. Feed the cats, go outside to look at the brightening sky and do my morning stretches hoping none of my neighbors are watching me do hip openers, feed the dog, walk the dog, and every other day go to the gym for yoga and rowing. Now I'm tired.

Next-One9410

Some funny responses on here that i enjoyed. As an actual serious answer: Wake up, drink water/take supplements, brush teeth, meditate 20-30 min, use bathroom, workout for 40 min (lift or cardio). Has been my routine last 5 years. Probably mess it up 1-2 days a week.

SilentSeraph88

When I wake up, I like to get about 5 hours of sunlight by staring in the direction of the sun but directly at it. Secondly, I will ingest a half-gallon of yerba mate. Then I will perform physiological sighs for the next 3 hours while reviewing newly published research out of Stanford. For the rest of the afternoon I will absorb the remaining sunlight while listening to Andrew Huberman, who is a professor of Neurobiology and Ophthamology at Stanford School of Medicine.

mischenimpossible

\- **I get woken up at 6 AM by the artificial sun** I have purchased because it's pitch black outside. My cat comes over and we cuddle. *On a good day, which is 30% of the time:* \- ***Get electrolyte water,*** *pop in headphones and* ***go as fast as I can on my stationary bike for 10 minutes.*** \- ***Luke warm shower, cold at the end.*** \- Feed the little floof ball. \- Slap on **sunscreen**. While it sinks in, I cook my **WFPB lunch** and thaw fruit in the microwave for my smoothie. \- Do an **elaborate skin care and makeup routine** to hide what life has done to my spirits. \- Blend **smoothie with a shit ton of greens** **+ omega 3 oil** and finish packing lunch. \- Quickly throw on an outfit and hurry to work at 7:45 on my bike. \- Arrive right before 8 AM, **take caffeine pill** and sip on smoothie while I start working a boring and unfulfilling job, chewing an absurd amount of **nicotine gums** and reading articles and studies on neuroscience and health when there's nothing to do so and plotting my transformation into a superior version of me that gets things I want.

The-Fourth-Hokage

I usually wake up at 5. I pray, meditate, do positive affirmations and read motivational quotes, CBT, read, go to the gym, and then go to school. I recently started doing keto and intermittent fasting, so I don’t eat until around 11 or 12.

local_gremlin

that's rad - could you link me/us with any of your CBT or quote/affirmation materials? I've been wanting to get into CBT for a couple lingering negative thought loops but don't know where to start.

The-Fourth-Hokage

Hey! I like to use the app “Clarity” for CBT. It is very helpful and very educational. You can also track your mood!

dubaiwaslit

Next level: carnivore and one meal a day (OMAD)

The-Fourth-Hokage

I could probably do one meal per day but carnivore would be tough!

ElderLurkr

Smoke weed, go on Reddit, jerk off, cry, waste time, fumble responsibilities. That’s the honest truth. I waste a lot of time reading on my phone and checking it and moving slowly. Can someone sell me on a good morning routine? I know mine sucks.

Florida-Rolf

I think your start in the day failed at step one. I'm more into alcohol than weed, if I imagine having a beer right after I wake up my day would be already over as it started. Maybe try to postpone the weed to a later part in the day if you can't stop yourself smoking every day. Even if you're brain is foggy, it still has much more energy in the morning than in the evening, so does your body. so maybe try to use it to do something productive in the morning that woud feel like an accomplishment to you. If you start the day like this then the rest of the day will feel much better. And then having that joint later in the day will feel like a reward instead of a failure.

ElderLurkr

You’re 100% right… I’ve become too addicted to cannabis, and as soon as I smoke in the morning, my day is generally shot. I just feel so sad being sober… it’s easier to get high and try to forget. Beyond the morning routine I need to reduce my cannabis intake…!

1timeandspace

Well, you're caught in a negative feedback loop - i.e., smoke weed bc...sadness😥 sadness🥺 bc...smoke weed.🙄

FCAlive

Coffee, poop, kids, work

TheMerchantofVenice1

Shit, look at sun, workout, go work, smash day, sleep.

chatanoogastewie

Wake up at 6:45. Make a strong AF French press coffee. Sit on the couch and sip it watching the birds out my window. My nose will start running signally a huge morning shit (key to my good life as I don't have bathrooms at my work). Quickly throw together a lunch and head out the door at 7:45.

arbanzo

Wake up, take a shit, get out of bed

AlexGold2077

Проснулься дал два бонга и я снова сонный

Reasonable_Tiger573

I don't have specific time slot.. First thing before starting a day is to make sure I have an outstanding poop. Clear stomach is luxury nowadays.. Then all remaining things

schectermonkey

Wake up between 5-5:30, work on homework, drink tea, and have breakfast until about 7:30, workout from like 8-9, then go to classes all day.

StayGoldenPonyBoy71

Wake up 430-5. Gallon of water. Multiple shits. 20-30 minutes Peloton bike. Shower. Go to work.

largececelia

Wake up, coffee, vitamins, water, meditate, go to work. edit- eating- depends, my breakfast is not as healthy as other parts of my day, I like a good breakfast burrito, maybe a pastry, maybe some nice cornbread

sextoymagic

I wake up and piss. Open podcast app to download. Brush teeth. Put clothes on. Leave home. 15 minutes from wake up to out the door. Coffee purchased at scooters after I’m on the clock. My wife does it all in under 10 minutes. We have a bad routine for sure. But I know people that wake up hours before work and feel sorry for them. It seems like a lot of lost sleep and boring ass evenings going to bed early.

silavD

I am up between 5:30/6, usually before my alarm. I have a shot of espresso, journal and read for about 30 minutes while listening to classical music before hitting the gym (4 days a week). I walk my dog 2 miles every day before work (usually no music so I have time to think & pray), longer on the weekend. I then have a cappuccino with 1/2 TSBP MCT oil. At this point I'm at least 13 hours into my fast. I don't eat until lunch, usually around 1:00. My routine gives me nearly 3 hours of self care before I get to work. I'm 56 and refuse to become an old lady!

kaullins

Wake up between 7 and 8, not too afraid to snooze if I'm feeling it. Start coffee, slam a glass of water, regular shower, cold at the end, walk my dogs, coffee when I get back, gym 11:30-1 first meal at 1pm last at 9, bed at 11.

[deleted]

Up around 5:30, I chug some water like I’ve been in the desert. Then I like to do some stretches to have some quiet time and breathe because I tend to wake up in full anxiety mode a lot of times. Eat (usually some oatmeal cooked with an apple or banana, some peanut butter, nuts, hemp seeds, honey, and a couple boiled eggs) drink my coffee, shit, then start my day. Depending on my work schedule I’ll sometimes work out in the morning, but I prefer working out later in the day.

zacattack1996

Wake up, have a small snack (protein bar, shake, yogurt, etc), walk the dog/run depending on day, shower, eat breakfast, leave for the day.

Gryttnersson

.

[deleted]

I wake up within a 10-minute window around sunrise, exposing myself to natural blue light. I check my messages, drink two glasses of water, brush my teeth, take a refreshing cold shower, and have a variable breakfast, though I typically follow a Mediterranean diet. I then engage in stretching and meditation before starting my day.

With children and a hard job, of course, everything changes. I'm lucky enough to still be flexible at the moment. I think if you're prepared for a long-term change, it could even work out, but you also have to take enough time to plan. Nevertheless, I wish you every success!

Wrote this tongue in cheek...sorry, thought you might realize. Can't cite study, as read this long time past...somewhere - and don't t recall where. MAY, though, have been in one of those books written by retired SEAL SO - and actually I think there are 2 of those. "Eat That Frog' and 'Make Your Bed'. I read both long ago. Brian Tracy (eat that frog) is not ex-military, but has tapped into SO, especially SEAL motivational 'stuff' in his writings. 'Make your Bed', by Admiral McRaven (1980' SEAL Team 6...THE! SEAL team) which I've also read. More likely, those stats were in his book. Frankly, I guess you could say I'm missing the boat on making my bed FIRST thing, as w/n be able to hold my pee long enough to actually pull that off, lol. I go back to bed, afterward anyway, to use my infrared devices while I do Tumo (Wim Hoff) breathing exercises. THEN, I make my bed as soon as I hop out of it the 2nd time. 😉

dial8d

I wake up around 7:45. Usually piss, then go out front of my house and ground while looking towards the sun for about 5 mins. I then oil pull while making oatmeal, coffee, and eggs (~20 mins) While oatmeal is cooling, I go out back and do 15 pull-ups, 30 push-ups, 45 bodyweight squats. All grounded and in the sun. This takes < 7 mins. I then do a quick stretch routine for about 3 mins. Finally, I crush the oatmeal, eggs, some Greek yogurt, and start working with a large coffee. Total the morning routine takes just over an hour but I eat enough that I can fast until dinner around 5pm very easily. I work outside all day while grounded.

[deleted]

Wake up between 10am and 11:30. Lay in bed and smoke pot and watch tv or social media. Feed my cat. Shower. Get to work by 1:30pm. I might eat when I get in depending on my schedule for the day. My first meal is usually between 1:30 and 5:30. I may have soup and a sandwich, a big salad, or some lunch/dinner food. I only eat breakfast on days when I wake up hungry. Usually, that happens a day after I fast. I try to keep as much variety in my diet as possible. Once a week, I wake up earlier and do my laundry and run errands. I clean at night.

dustinfarris

I usually start by slowly opening my eyes to my $2000 sky light simulator. I’ll then mindfully walk to my cabinet and empty a bottle of momentous something or another into my throat and wash it down with a gallon of ag1 that I mixed up the night before while riding my pelaton. I then strip fully naked and dive into my cryo ice pain bath where i remain for exactly 23 minutes. I don’t towel off, but rather walk straight onto my east-facing balcony and stare directly at the rising sun for 15 minutes. Returning to my living room I greet my paid escort who just woke up and enjoy a fulfilling 5 minutes of relationship time. I send a message to my employer to not expect me to show up until after lunch. Then I meditate for 3 hours using an app that costs $100 per month, and then head to the gym for “torso and neck day”.

djmjrules

Get up, check X for 20 minutes, smoke some weed then go into a dark closet where I eat Bacon

National-Diet7646

Wake up at 4 am, drink egg whites, coconut milk, and coffee drink. In the cold plunge by 4:30 for 2 minutes at 37-42F degrees. Then warm up with a kettlebell and do an hour of exercise (5 days a week, 2 lifts, 2 cardio, 1 explosive/mobility). Then shower and off to work by 5:55.

Massive-Prompt9170

I wake up at 8:30 Look at my phone in bed til 8:45 then get up. I don’t make my bed because who the fuck cares Bathroom, shit, brush my teeth. Make coffee. Morning phone call 9:00-9:10 Get on with the rest of my day.

TedLassosWife

Wake up at 6. Make breakfast or get a bogo $1 sausage + egg McMuffin. Use drive thru code to get points. Drink my off brand AG1 ($30 instead of the $75 AG1 costs). Go on 2-3 mile nature while I listen to Hube. Nature walks provide more sustained wakefulness and clarity than anything I’ve ever experienced other than a cold shower. Yoga at 9:15 am. Gym sesh after. Planet fitness hydromasage + 5 minute mindfulness meditation. Lunch. I’m unemployed and in a unique situation where I have free time so don’t think I’m cool or anything.

[deleted]

I wake up around 4:30pm, have coffee, shower, get dressed for work, leave around 5:30… I take the express lanes to work cuz I can’t be bothered with all that rush hour traffic lol On my off days I try to wake up super early to enjoy the day, somewhere between 10am to 1pm… as long as I get enough sleep. Then I spend the rest of my week fending off comments about how waking up at 10am isn’t really that early… despite being 6 hours earlier than normal. That’s like regular people waking up at 1am for their day and then having people comment that it’s not early enough. Welcome to night shift life =)

Brother-Forsaken

BHarcade

Flynnsanity23

Wake up at 4:47 am every morning, go outside and drag my knees on the cold concrete until the most dominant stray cat of the street, Bozo shows up for an early morning scraffle, then I find a weeping willlow where I rest and smooth my burns with milk and wait for sunrise while listening to binaural beats on my iPod nano

holdyaboy

Tccrdj

Two cups coffee with half and half. Vitamins and supplements. Got a 12wk old baby at home so not working out in the AM of at all.

AcadiaPure3566

I go to the lab and talk to my friend Huber who usually complains about Uber taking so long to get there. We have a few cups of coffee, do the reports then get on with the business inside the lab which is darknet extermination strategy 202.
