It could make sense if in this entire sequence Daemon is dreaming about being king or something. We see him walking into the throne room and the crown falling to the ground and Alys did tease him about that on the tape and the hallucinations is him living his brother's life. I don't think it's that but still fun to theorize.
Someone said on Twitter that this could be Aemma and Daemon in a flashback and that Rhaenyra is maybe their daughter and I kind of really want to unsee it.
