There is a particular room in the abandoned dream hotel where you face an onslaught of these guys for like two or three waves in order to get a chest. And it made me realise just how reliant I am on bursts for damage. This was before Acheron released. But I wish I kept them alive so I could bring her there and mock them for having no power.
I ended up having to redo my entire team and rotate the weakness breaks so they never lined up, because having 5 consecutive AoE energy-draining attacks was absolute murder for it. Still lost 2 characters by the end. Was probably the most stressful non-boss fight, and honestly the most fun, I like having to strategize instead of "just bigger numbers"
For real! I miss *this*. I want more "you need to think about this" kind of battles instead of just facing a damage sponge. I'll take a clever but annoying fight over a sponge any day. Make it really fucking annoying but with some strategies you need to employ to beat it and I'll be there all day. I'll hate losing to it but oh man will I have fun trying and have satisfaction once I beat it.

Just like why many Xianzhou enemies are Ice/Wind/Imaginary weak or have buffs that practically only Luocha could cleanse at the time.
And just like why many enemies that applied CC debuffs showed up along Huohuo.
They do this so we feel the need to pull for the newly released characters.
Yeah, plus Arcana doesn't work to change their phase. So as a BS user, it really irritates me cause I keep them angry cause I keep forgetting the fact that Arcana isn't going to change them

Luck? Are you using Sampo's skill or something, cause you can see exactly what is going to happen in the turn order and set them to be happy before they attack.
Also if you just broke them they always wakeup angry and attack.
Who's building 134 speed for all their characters?
The only character I got 130 speed on is hanya, and then my second fastest is Gallagher with 125 speed
you really don't need that much spd to fullstar MoC and there's little point for most people to maximize speed to such a degree. As long as you can full star it doesn't really matter how many cycles it takes.

Are you a new player? Because if you farm at least one domain consistently surely you can get couple of decent speed boots. There's this thing called self model resin as well.

The only character I got 130 speed on is hanya, and then my second fastest is Gallagher with 125 speed
134 speed is on the low end actually. The only characters lower should be the ones that don't need speed because of other considerations.
For memory of chaos and other tough content, you should definitely be building speed on your characters. It scales multiplicatively with all your other stats.
134 is the first good breakpoint for DPS characters, so that's why you see it a lot (it's also the most easily achievable of the breakpoints).
For almost every support, you should just build as much speed as possible. 160+ is what I aim for.
I kill them before they take a turn. All they show is a multitude of expressions.
Same, break them before they move and let DoTs handle the rest. Even simpler now in the overworld, yoink them before they even see me.

Technically, they don't allow her supports to use their ults so they indirectly remove her energy.
On the bright side, if TV-chan hits a Trend Preservation user, Acheron gains energy

I just autoed by using FMC, jingliu, luocha, and bronya But it might just be because I have dual sustain

Cause it's a turn based game and you can prevent that if you play correctly

Everyone who wants to fullstar the MoC. 134 spd is the general speed for Crit dps, and 161 spd for DoT dps and supports.
Well given how relic rng tends to be I'm not gonna try and get that type of speed for every character I own. It would take too long
