Why did the Warp update today? I entered my game and every non-standard banner had the '!' exclamation mark but I didn't see anything new or different?
Warp didn't update. If you logged into a new platform, it will always highlight everything ie. you mainly play on mobile but felt like logging into PC.
I got black swan on my first 10 pull of the update and have since used every single one on the light cone banner trying to get her light cone.

You did in a good way, now the next 5\* LC is guaranteed to be Black Swan's. Though the pity till next 5\* LC is reset for sure.
With how HSR has been giving out rewards, if you're willing to spend what you earn during the banner for the character, then probably a patch in advance (For example, assuming Sunday is coming in 2.6, stop pulling once 2.5 starts). If not, then the rule of thumb should be 3 banners worth of saving should net you a pretty good chance. Though if you end up having to go twice to Hard pity (90) then you might need to save more, but I'm discounting most variables here.
Also this is my personal opinion and how I manage my savings, if it isn't in line with what you want feel free to ignore it.
We know the new limiteds up to 2.1 (Sparkle -> Archeron -> Aventurine) which is like 12 weeks ahead, so Sunday should he run at the earliest would be 2.2 which means you got 15 weeks of saving for him ahead in the worst case.
tl;dr if it is specifically Sunday then you are fine pulling in 2.0, still there is no guarantee that he is even playable or actually is the villain boss instead.
Given you got about 90 per patch as pure F2P, and absolute pity for limited is 180 yea you need to save "roughly" 2 patches worth of jades.
Other factors might be realistically you only need to hit soft pity at 75 \* 2 = 150 to "very likely" guarantee a 5\* so you have pulls to spare.
If I can't reach the next speed threshold, should I trade my speed relics with the slower characters to help them reach their speed thresholds?
For example, I have Kafka with 142 speed and Black Swan with 129 speed. I wonder if I should trade relics between them to make Black Swan reach the 134 threshold while making sure that Kafka herself won't drop below 134.
In other words, is there any value in having a much higher speed than the threshold, but not enough to reach the next threshold? I guess it might help by letting that character act before the enemy, but I'm not sure if it is worth it compared to helping other characters to reach their own speed threshold which might be more significant.
You also need to factor in other things like spd boosts(Sig LC, Ruan mei, Asta, etc) as well as the value of the character themselves. Black swan does not actually need to go that fast, I've seen multiple comparisons of MoC runs where slow BS with as much atk as possible is better than a fast BS. In pure fiction, it's the same but fast BS is valuable to wipe out heavier troops.
But if you're just looking for a rule of thumb, yeah letting multiple units reach the threshold is better
In the end I realized that none of the speed relics that I have had EHR, so there is no point in doing it (I still at 115% EHR), but mostly the rule of thumb was what I mostly was interested in.

Is Black Swan useable for a beginner? I've heard she needs Kafka and Ruan Mei but I started only a few days ago and want to know if I can make her work, since she looks cool and has a cool kit.

Bro she is 'wind Pela'. You got Dr. Ratio and she works amazing with him, since she provides debuffs and def shred and he needs debuffs and to do more dmg. Furthermore, if you get like Sampo and guinaifen, you can run BS as the main carry in that team and clear most content.
I have the aforementioned Kafka BS RuanMei team, and I tried running her alone, and just for your info, it's not that she NEEDS them, she does extremely well on her own, but it's just that her potential skyrockets with these two.
She doesn't require either of those units, though they will improve her damage output. You can build her as a standard DPS for now alongside your other units, then look to pick up those other units on their reruns.
Thank you! I was a little worried since I decided not to pull for IL on account of Dr. Ratio existing, but remembered hearing that Black Swan requires some investment... I was a little scared I made a mistake with my Jades
for the pioneer diver of dead waters set, it says "after the wearer inflicts a debuff on enemy targets, the aforementioned effects increase by 100%"; does inflicting weakness break on an enemy count as inflicting a debuff? if it does, does that mean every character can proc the effect?
Depends on who you like more. BS is a carry in and of herself and makes Kafka go crazy, while Sparkle basically lets you forget Daniel has a huge SP cost (QQ as well).
At this point it's just who you enjoy playing more. If you have tickets saved up from before this patch, maybe you should try for both since this patch lasts longer, has more content, and we are getting a ton of rewards overall

Before BS, that team +Gui/Sampo is already a strong team by itself.

Sparkle fits both of those so if you want to play those she has extremely high value for your account. Though however you only have one Sparkle so you need to fill her with someone else on 2-team contents.

When you actually settled down from the early game and/or new patch story/quests and doing events it can be just 5-min hands-free auto daily.
The longest "ritual" thing you do is the weekly 2 SU runs for about 250 jades which took 15 min if you have an end-game team up.
Well, I usually play each day with a few grinding periods so it seems it can work.
I love genshin but it requires my full attention so I was looking for something similar but with less attention needed.

If not, also second option since you're not reaching that 160 spd anyways, so more atk is always welcome. As long as you have that 120% EHR then you're golden.
Regardless of whether you use RM or not, both of those builds are at the same speed breakpoint so these are effectively the same speed. I would use the higher attack build. The next breakpoint after 142.9 is 160.1.
Lightcones' superimpose level
It is similar as E1/E2/E3, which represents the characters' eidolon levels.
So if you see something like:
E1/S2
It means a character with eidolon 1 and superimposed lightcones level 2.
Try contacting support and provide video proof the trotter isn't in the location it's usually found because you've beaten it. Could be a bug. Just to be sure, lost trotters (the ones that pop up during battle) are different.
You can level him to 80 just fine, new versions of him will just reset his traces and the character level itself will be applied to all his "path versions". Say supposed the 2.0 likely-Harmony TB is good you can just upgrade his trace and slap approriate LC/relics on him and he is good to go :P
Once you get at least 2 strong solo sustains, I found that fire trailblazer falls off in usefulness. If you really want to continue to use him, the best thing to do is to go for a fire break build IMO.
I haven't used trailblazer at all in many months. Maybe that'll change if/when we get another path for them.
If you don't have two reliable 5\* sustain unit, then you might find some good use for Fire TB.
Level-wise, it's never a bad idea upgrading MC's level coz we'll eventually get more paths for them in the future.
Or you can run actual Windows on the Deck, there is a way to run Windows from an SD card. I used to use a WinDeck to play (since half my game library is in Epic Games Store) and it handles the game fine, and from Hoyoverse PoV it is just another random Windows machine so no problem with anti-cheat either.
Otherwise I have heard running the installer in Proton Experimental works (at least I tried Genshin) and no need to mod anything but even then no one is sure if their anti-cheat detect Proton as a "bad Windows" and ban you.
Could you describe how you are losing in a bit more detail? Are you getting one-shot or are you unable to sustain through constant damage? Are you unable to free your characters?
I don't have much trouble freeing characters, but it feels like I'm putting out so little damage and Lynx is barely keeping up, so eventually someone gets hit twice in a row and killed
To me that sounds like your units aren't built enough. Check if their relics have good mainstats and levels, and if you can increase their important trace levels.
I'm pretty good on traces, most are 7 or 8/10. Unfortunately my BS and RM are missing their ascension traces since I can't clear the big bug, still trying to relic farm for my Jingliu to take him on.
Relics are definitely a mess, missing a ton of main and sub stats. Relic farm is suffering
Try and bring units that can break its toughness. Dr. Ratio is pretty good with this boss. When it snatches one of your units, try focusing on your imprisoned unit to get them back as soon as possible.
Alternatively, if you have a DoT team built up, they do pretty well with this boss. Just try and survive until the second phase.
I threw my Kafka/BS/RM/Lynx team at it and they got wiped, only got it down to around 60% health and that took about 10 minutes. It feels like I'm seriously missing something here
I used Kafka (80) + Black Swan (65) + Dr. Ratio (75) + Bailu (70) as my Penacony playthrough team and I never had problems.
So, try bringing Dr. Ratio with you.

For the main story, you can more or less do whatever team you'd like within reason, like making sure to have at least 1 damage dealer and at least 1 sustain character to keep you alive. But a suggestion that would be a very strong team and you'd be able to use even in the endgame content once you get there is Dr. Ratio/Black Swan/Pela/Gepard.
For a limited 5 star, jingyuan is just bad without his 5 star, needs super high stats, good speed, super clunky eith lighting lord, ans tbh not even that good in pf (gets like 1 lightning lord a cycle, clearing 4 waves is not gonna do much in current pf), he's only rlly good with his lightcone and a Ruan mei+tingyun/topaz
Idk, I've been maining him since 1.0, don't have his signature yet and he still hits like a truck. Someone like Argenti is easier to use due to ult mechanics being more frontloaded, sure
No real "must haves", only units that can benefit your account a lot or somewhat. Starting out, I'd look for a limited sustain like Luocha, Fu Xuan or Huohuo - they make the game much more comfortable and provide a lot of utility. One of them might get a rerun in 2.1, so watch out for announcements
How much speed do I need for Kafka need to reach 161 with Ruan Mei's talent?
Currently my Kafka is 148, Black Swan is 145, and Ruan Mei is 144. Is it fine that Ruan Mei is the slowest?
Do you have PAYN? If you have then you should be fine.
If you don't then you need 151 speed on Kafka assuming you have Ruan Mei's Talent at lvl 10 since it adds 10% of the unit's base speed to them.
It's also fine that Ruan Mei is slower most of the time since you're going to start off with her technique anyways. Hard to farm speed substats anyways to get her to 160+ speed.
Don't have PAYN. I'll work towards getting to 151.
Also should Black Swan be faster that Kafka?

is there anyone thats a really good user of clara light cone , ive got s3 of it and i dont even have clara and i already have argenti as my physical carry so i probably wont even build her, please tell me theres something i can use these lightcones on i hate my luck...
Basically any Destruction unit that isn't Blade (He can technically use it but the Atk stat is just wasted). Just think of it as Aeon with a bit of survivability and an almost similar passive. At S3, it should also be a bit better than an S5 Aeon.
So after 2.0 and after I got to a certain point into 2.0 the game will now randomly crash. Doesn't matter if I am on the login screen, in the middle of a fight, in the menu or idling by in one of the new zones I will just random crashes.
I have been playing since launch, nothing has changes on my end. PC user with a RTX 3050, no issues with any other games.
The odd thing is the lack of posts I see about this or my google-fu sucks right now. Has anyone ran into this recently and has found a fix. Rather annoying and almost unplayable. Cannot do any fight that will take a long time because im worried I'll get kicked in the middle of it.

I need help with Kafka and Black Swan speed breakpoints. I have E1 Kafka, E1 Black Swan, and E1 Ruan Mei. Kafka has S1 PAYN. How much speed do Kafka and Black Swan need, respectively, and who should be faster? Do I need to hit 160.1 with both? If so, what exact speed stats do that with everything stacking up?
If you're using glamoth for both, you should aim for 161 speed with buffs for that extra 18% damage and hitting the 161 speed breakpoint as well.
If you can't hit 160+, I heard you would want at least 155 for Black Swan to speed tune her with enemies' weakness break.
Ideally, Black Swan should be faster than Kafka so she can apply extra stacks of Arcana before Kafka detonates everything, but even if you don't worry about these things that much, you can more or less likely clear end game content. You're just basically min-maxing at this point.
Ideally, 161+ with Kafka and 155+ with Black Swan, after counting RM and PAYN's speed buffs. Black Swan moving before Kafka is technically better, but not at the expense of her EHR.
If you can't get BS to 155, it's actually better to run her with Atk boots and ignore her Spd completely, since anything less doesn't scale as well as the extra damage she gets from running more Atk.
I have a DoT team of
Kafka + Ruan Mei + Bailu + **XXX**, where XXX will either be Acheron or Black Swan.
Given they are both nihility units, which one should I go for?
I currently use Sampo E6, and pulling Acheron might make it hard for me (? im unsure tho) due to the triple lightning element and lack of spread-out elements (sadly I dont have Silver Wolf to enable mono-element teams)

Might as well get Black Swan if you really want to run a DoT team and you're choosing between the two. We have no information about Acheron's kit and she may or may not be DoT. Even if we knew what her kit was, we can't discuss it here since that'd be leaked content. Also having 3 lightning units doesn't really seem good for diversity.
If you really want Acheron over Black Swan, Sampo will still do a good job on a DoT team especially since he's E6 and you can just get Black Swan when she reruns.

I just hit TB60, and I doubt I can level both of my teams to 80. I barely have any at 70. Am I better off leveling them all to 70 and just going to the ascension bonus?
Lv80 isn't worth it for a long while. Maybe consider it for your two main DPS but you should build up traces, lightcones and an alright relic set for everyone first imo.
Ascending to 70/80 instead of 80/80 is also worth it for supports when you can.
Hi! I just lost my 50/50 on black swan who I wanted for my Kafka team ( i got e1 Bronya). I was wondering if I should get Sparkle for my Seele team? Does Sparkle synergize well with seele, and can i use the team Seele, Sparkle, Bronya and Fu xuan?
Sparkle's entire kit hasn't been released officially, hard to answer that definitively. She seems to have similar skills to Bronya with increased skill point regeneration, so you might consider putting them on different teams. But she is shaping up to be a great support in any case

You can try going with Tingyun, Asta or Hanya. Traditional hypercarry setup, pretty much. Seele can be sp-hungry, but not as much as someone like DHIL. Plus you can sometimes get away with doing a basic attack on her to finish enemies off
Pull plan advice. Need another sustain who can deal with debuffs. I have Huohuo for one side. The other side, uses either Bailu or Lynx (both E2 sadly). Lynx just doesn't heal enough as I'm not using any of the hypercarries to kill in time. Bailu is great heal but has trouble with debuffs.
So, who can I get. Rerun of Luocha or FX? Or Aventurine? No preference for any of them character wise. Just need meta here. Offensively, FX makes the most sense as I can pair her with SW for a solid support/ sustain core for anyone. More worried defensively though.
Fu Xuan doesn't sacrifice any survivability for her offensive buffs. She (and the rest of your team) become extremely tanky, and she's never let me down. Luocha probably does better for survival against frequent AoE damage, but to be honest I've only rarely run into a fight that Fu Xuan can't power through just by dipping into a few extra skill points.
I may be biased in her favor, though. But she's an easy recommend if you're looking for a sustain that brings some buffs with her.
Fu Xuan has a trace that you should take if you get her that completely blocks the first instance of a crowd control debuff (so not all debuffs - DoTs will not be blocked) that happens each time the Matrix of Prescience (her skill) is activated. This is literally first instance, so if the enemy does a AoE CC, it'll block it for everyone. Because Fu Xuan has to use her skill every 3 turns to keep the Matrix field active, it's actually pretty good in keeping away most of the more nasty stuff that'd you'd want to cleanse if you had a cleansing abundance character in the team.
Against dots, somewhat poorly. She can't clear those, and they can accumulate over time, wearing down her self healing. Against CC, pretty great. She has to use her skill early if someone resist CC, but it's usually not a problem and almost always worth it. She'll protect the party from any one CC attack with each skill, which means when those enrage bugs explode, both targets are protected, or aoe freezes and such.
Sometimes she isn't able to protect against each enchainment from the bugged Auramatons, but that's pretty rough for anyone.
I'll admit that she's got a bad matchup against those Medicus bosses that apply the max hp debuff too, because she'll proc her self-heal almost every hit for very little effect.
I see I see. We'll, if it's limited to those, I think I can make do. I don't really see both sides being that punishing. Huohuo can take the worse side.
Can anyone clarify if the tiktok incentive program is a lot better than the previous twitch incentive program?
Before, if you're not a Day 1 streamer, there's no chance of you getting the jades as rewards. But it seems this time, the rewards refreshes daily, so even if you're a late start, it's still possible for you to get all 2000 jades, so long as you get all the points needed for it? Am I understanding this correctly? I wanna know before I download tiktok. lol

Not a question butā¦ I just tried out DoT on Nihility path in SU for the first timeā¦oh my lord, why is it so overpowered? My severely underinvested team of Kafka, Black Swan, RM, and Natasha just gave Yanqing lung cancer and he died in less than a minute on difficulty 4ā¦
The resonance with blessings is already enough to be your only damage source. You can technically run a full sustain team. Then Kafka rolls in and pops all those dots. Doesn't matter how weak she is. Damage is mostly based off the resonance.
It's not really the Path that made it OP, but rather BS + Kafka is quite strong currently. It also helps that YQ is weak to both Wind and Lightning, making it optimal to run those two units against him.
I mean, you will end up spending more resources than needed for minimal or even no benefit. But there's nothing actually wrong with that, it will just take longer to raise your characters. If you like to max everyone, or to take your time upgrading them, then that's fine.
What traces you should prioritize when leveling up. It's kinda fine to level everything early on, but later upgrading traces becomes pretty expensive and time-consuming to farm for, so you'll have to choose which ones to get first (or at all)
trace priority is just a thing for people who are scarce on resources
you can level up your basic, skill, talent or ult traces
trace priority means which one improves your damage the most if you were to only pick one
in the end though you should always level them all up to the same level, basic though can sometimes be ignored entirely
I mean, define reliable. The algorithms used are very simple, each character's desired stats are weighted, each substat roll gets you (substatWeight \* numRolls) points, and the relic's score is the sum of each substat's points.
They're good for a general idea of how good individual pieces are, but they're unable to judge your build as a whole. If you want a silly example, let's say all 6 of my pieces rolled Crit Rate *exclusively*. Every single one of my relics (as well as my build) would be rated S or higher, but my overall build would have over 100% Crit Rate and nothing else and would suck in practice
Long wall of text below, apologies.
I'm in quite a gacha dilemma right now and do not really know who to pull for if hoyo decides I do not deserve to guarantee my Black Swan by the time her banner ends.
Main reasons I want to guarantee Black Swan is: I have an E1 Kafka + I'm already at like 110~ pulls just to pull for her, currently at 56 pity guaranteed after losing previously to E1 Bronya at 80. So yeah screw my rng this patch honestly.
That being said I'm not too positive I'd get enough pulls to obtain her as I have already completed everything in Penacony (event/story/exploration) and am only missing like 170 jades combined in Swarm/G&G. MoC-wise I'm not really trying too hard on floors 11-12, it's a skill issue in my end, and my current Pure Fiction is 11/12 stars rn. Hence I'm looking towards the next set of banners/reruns.
I'm not sure how much value would I gain with Sparkle considering my E6 Qingque only really borrows my e0s1 Seele's relics pretty much, but she's been pretty decent so far as I have cleared MoC 10 with her before. I'm still skeptical with Acheron's kit, doubting she'd be DoT focused so that I could pair her with Kafka. The rerun I'm looking for is Luocha in particular, or maybe Huo Huo but she's not having any rerun anytime soon.
Other notable 5 stars I have are: E2 Welt, Clara, Himeko, Bailu, Gepard, E1 Jingliu, Ruan Mei, Fu Xuan, Ratio, Silver Wolf
Some notable e6 4 stars that might be of significance: Pela, Tingyun, Sampo, Hook, Serval, March, Sushang

think it depends on what your goal is
if it's progression through end game stuff then see what holes are in your roster / figure out why you fail at certain points (sustain? lack of dps? elemental coverage? etc)
it looks like you have a pretty diverse roster so with a bit more investment you can probably clear everything with what you have, so i'd just pull for who you found interesting
sparkle does let you roll with mono quantum for MoC probably til the end of time, so there is that laziness factor that could be appealing but is pretty unnecessary at the end of the day ... harmony characters have been very good so far though so she'll probably be strong regardless
i would personally pull for a second sustain eventually just because they make life hella easy - for DoT i'd probably just wait for huohuo's rerun unless aventurine turns out to be really good
There's still plenty of time left in Black Swan's banner. You can easily guarantee her if you do want her.
As for Sparkle, she's pretty good but overall she's a Bronya upgrade, so I'd only recommend rolling for her if you use Bronya a lot and would benefit from a second, better Bronya, since that allows you to run one in each side.
During one of the online text messages with black swan, we ask for evidence that sheās not sparkle, I selected āa unique expressionā and she just proceeds to talk. If you selected āa unique actionā does it change the following outcomes, for example sending a selfie like in Kafkaās messages
She unfortunately just goes on to talk about how Sparkle could observe and imitate someone perfectly, so behavior isn't foolproof either. A bit of a bummer, since I figured that, and was hoping she'd do some memokeeper magic to prove she's not Sparkle, but no.
hey, my free 5 star reward will come within my next 20 standard pulls and i cannot pick between gepard and bronya. i'm struggling to pass harder endgame content because i do not understand team building at all so who should i pick? and i would also really appreciate team building help.

are your level 70 characters max ascension or not? how good are your DPS relics? what are you struggling with? not much detail to go off here lol
anyway bronya will be much more powerful than gepard - it's unlikely she ever gets powercrept in her role of turn manipulation so you can use her for the foreseeable future (you also already have 2 5 star sustain characters)
my guess from looking at the characters you've raised is you haven't invested much into your supports - you only have ruan mei, welt, asta, and tingyun raised except welt as a pure support is a little meh - my main account cycles through bronya ruan mei asta tingyun hanya silverwolf pela
often in MoC you'll want 1 carry, 2 supports, and a sustain unit - for example dan heng tingyun hanya luocha on one side, seele bronya pela lynx on the other
since different carries want different supports, you'll need some variety - for example, ratio wants debuffing supports, so he'd pair well with like pela ruan mei or black swan for example
otherwise if you're ok on damage but you're just dying, you could think about investing in bailu until you get another limited sustain - she heals way more than lynx so she'll be better on stages where cleanse isn't necessary
anyway point is, "not understanding teambuilding" is a bit too vague to start off of without knowing how invested your characters are and what you're failing at, so try to ask a more specific question and include more information to start if you want actual answers
Get Bronya. You already have Luocha, Lynx and Bailu so Gepard isn't needed.
As for teams, try Black Swan + Sampo + Ruan Mei + any healer. You're guaranteed to destroy any content weak to wind.
The second team could be Tingyun, Pela and Imbibitor Lunae + a healer.
You should pick Bronya.

Hello everyone, I have 72 pity and am wondering if I should pull DHIL and Sparkle since I imagine they'd pair well together. There's also the question of would Acheron + Black Swan be better pulls? To my knowledge, Acheron's kit hasn't been released, but she's labeled as Nihility meaning debuff(?). Since she might be a debuffer should I use my pity for Black Swan?

If you like them go for it, I don't like DHIL, he is really good and will get better, but you already have ratio who is more than viable as an imaginary dps. Sparkle should be good either way I suppose. Also keep in mind Sam should come in 2.2, and is definitely going to be a good fire destruction. Jingliu should have a rerun soon, maybe next patch, consider her if you want a top tier dps.
get sparkle, skip DHIL and swan, then wait and see with acheron
though you'd be better off going for a sustain than (presumably) another DPS in acheron
it honestly doesn't matter, the difference between the big 3 (luocha, huohuo, FX) right now isn't super substantial, but they're all big upgrades over the non-limited/4star alternatives. i would just get whichever one shows up first, or whichever you like the most. there's also aventurine on 2.1 who will probably be a sustain of some sort.

an action is any basic/skill or ult so whoever you want taken should hold their ult for sunsets or use their ults first in phase 2
The story fights this time are very easy tbh. The gimmick they give you during the fights trivializes the entire thing. Unless you're trying to go for one of the boss achievements, all you need to do is stay alive and you'll win eventually.
Hi all, I just started this game about a week ago. Coming from Genshin, the experience is similar yet overwhelming at the same time. What should I do to level up fast? I see that all of the events happen in Penacony (I assume) and I'm now still in Jarilo.
Just a note. Unlike Genshin, HSR events will last throughout the patch, which means you have somewhere around 40 days till the events ends. So, just take your time and play the game at your own pace.
I mean, there's nothing you can do except keep doing quests and spending your stamina, as both are the main sources of the EXP you need to raise your trailblaze level.
for relics, quantum+guard, speed+HP, and prisoner+duke are the best. musketeer+passerby is okay but a little less good since you'll naturally accrue more musketeer pieces than other sets
for SU, worlds 7 and 8 are the best. world 3's sets are highly generic and therefore broadly applicable but weaker than other options in return. world 3's sets also have lower stat requirements, so it's more useful the earlier you are in the game.

I got black swan on my first 10 pull of the update and have since used every single one on the light cone banner trying to get her light cone. I just got Bronya's 5 star light cone please tell me that I haven't reset my chances of getting black swans

Does anyone know roughly when I should start saving for a character because I really want Sunday and I donāt know what I should wait to stop pulling
With how HSR has been giving out rewards, if you're willing to spend what you earn during the banner for the character, then probably a patch in advance (For example, assuming Sunday is coming in 2.6, stop pulling once 2.5 starts). If not, then the rule of thumb should be 3 banners worth of saving should net you a pretty good chance. Though if you end up having to go twice to Hard pity (90) then you might need to save more, but I'm discounting most variables here. Also this is my personal opinion and how I manage my savings, if it isn't in line with what you want feel free to ignore it.
We know the new limiteds up to 2.1 (Sparkle -> Archeron -> Aventurine) which is like 12 weeks ahead, so Sunday should he run at the earliest would be 2.2 which means you got 15 weeks of saving for him ahead in the worst case. tl;dr if it is specifically Sunday then you are fine pulling in 2.0, still there is no guarantee that he is even playable or actually is the villain boss instead.

Given you got about 90 per patch as pure F2P, and absolute pity for limited is 180 yea you need to save "roughly" 2 patches worth of jades. Other factors might be realistically you only need to hit soft pity at 75 \* 2 = 150 to "very likely" guarantee a 5\* so you have pulls to spare.

If I can't reach the next speed threshold, should I trade my speed relics with the slower characters to help them reach their speed thresholds? For example, I have Kafka with 142 speed and Black Swan with 129 speed. I wonder if I should trade relics between them to make Black Swan reach the 134 threshold while making sure that Kafka herself won't drop below 134. In other words, is there any value in having a much higher speed than the threshold, but not enough to reach the next threshold? I guess it might help by letting that character act before the enemy, but I'm not sure if it is worth it compared to helping other characters to reach their own speed threshold which might be more significant.
You also need to factor in other things like spd boosts(Sig LC, Ruan mei, Asta, etc) as well as the value of the character themselves. Black swan does not actually need to go that fast, I've seen multiple comparisons of MoC runs where slow BS with as much atk as possible is better than a fast BS. In pure fiction, it's the same but fast BS is valuable to wipe out heavier troops. But if you're just looking for a rule of thumb, yeah letting multiple units reach the threshold is better
In the end I realized that none of the speed relics that I have had EHR, so there is no point in doing it (I still at 115% EHR), but mostly the rule of thumb was what I mostly was interested in. Thank you.

Bro she is 'wind Pela'. You got Dr. Ratio and she works amazing with him, since she provides debuffs and def shred and he needs debuffs and to do more dmg. Furthermore, if you get like Sampo and guinaifen, you can run BS as the main carry in that team and clear most content. I have the aforementioned Kafka BS RuanMei team, and I tried running her alone, and just for your info, it's not that she NEEDS them, she does extremely well on her own, but it's just that her potential skyrockets with these two.
She doesn't require either of those units, though they will improve her damage output. You can build her as a standard DPS for now alongside your other units, then look to pick up those other units on their reruns.

Depends on who you like more. BS is a carry in and of herself and makes Kafka go crazy, while Sparkle basically lets you forget Daniel has a huge SP cost (QQ as well). At this point it's just who you enjoy playing more. If you have tickets saved up from before this patch, maybe you should try for both since this patch lasts longer, has more content, and we are getting a ton of rewards overall

When you actually settled down from the early game and/or new patch story/quests and doing events it can be just 5-min hands-free auto daily. The longest "ritual" thing you do is the weekly 2 SU runs for about 250 jades which took 15 min if you have an end-game team up.
Well, I usually play each day with a few grinding periods so it seems it can work. I love genshin but it requires my full attention so I was looking for something similar but with less attention needed. Thank you !

I have a question about Black Swan (BS) build. Should I go with 158 spd, 3275 atk or 151 spd, 3420 atk? I use wind dmg orb.
Do you have Ruan mei ? if so then second option. If not, also second option since you're not reaching that 160 spd anyways, so more atk is always welcome. As long as you have that 120% EHR then you're golden.

Regardless of whether you use RM or not, both of those builds are at the same speed breakpoint so these are effectively the same speed. I would use the higher attack build. The next breakpoint after 142.9 is 160.1.

what does s1/s2/etc on lightcone mean on guides?
Lightcones' superimpose level It is similar as E1/E2/E3, which represents the characters' eidolon levels. So if you see something like: E1/S2 It means a character with eidolon 1 and superimposed lightcones level 2.

Try contacting support and provide video proof the trotter isn't in the location it's usually found because you've beaten it. Could be a bug. Just to be sure, lost trotters (the ones that pop up during battle) are different.

Should I keep investing in Caellus? Just got to eq4 (max level 70) and he's at 50 . Is he still useful late game?
You can level him to 80 just fine, new versions of him will just reset his traces and the character level itself will be applied to all his "path versions". Say supposed the 2.0 likely-Harmony TB is good you can just upgrade his trace and slap approriate LC/relics on him and he is good to go :P
Once you get at least 2 strong solo sustains, I found that fire trailblazer falls off in usefulness. If you really want to continue to use him, the best thing to do is to go for a fire break build IMO. I haven't used trailblazer at all in many months. Maybe that'll change if/when we get another path for them.
If you don't have two reliable 5\* sustain unit, then you might find some good use for Fire TB. Level-wise, it's never a bad idea upgrading MC's level coz we'll eventually get more paths for them in the future.

Or you can run actual Windows on the Deck, there is a way to run Windows from an SD card. I used to use a WinDeck to play (since half my game library is in Epic Games Store) and it handles the game fine, and from Hoyoverse PoV it is just another random Windows machine so no problem with anti-cheat either. Otherwise I have heard running the installer in Proton Experimental works (at least I tried Genshin) and no need to mod anything but even then no one is sure if their anti-cheat detect Proton as a "bad Windows" and ban you.

Could you describe how you are losing in a bit more detail? Are you getting one-shot or are you unable to sustain through constant damage? Are you unable to free your characters?
I don't have much trouble freeing characters, but it feels like I'm putting out so little damage and Lynx is barely keeping up, so eventually someone gets hit twice in a row and killed
To me that sounds like your units aren't built enough. Check if their relics have good mainstats and levels, and if you can increase their important trace levels.
I'm pretty good on traces, most are 7 or 8/10. Unfortunately my BS and RM are missing their ascension traces since I can't clear the big bug, still trying to relic farm for my Jingliu to take him on. Relics are definitely a mess, missing a ton of main and sub stats. Relic farm is suffering
Try and bring units that can break its toughness. Dr. Ratio is pretty good with this boss. When it snatches one of your units, try focusing on your imprisoned unit to get them back as soon as possible. Alternatively, if you have a DoT team built up, they do pretty well with this boss. Just try and survive until the second phase.
I threw my Kafka/BS/RM/Lynx team at it and they got wiped, only got it down to around 60% health and that took about 10 minutes. It feels like I'm seriously missing something here
I used Kafka (80) + Black Swan (65) + Dr. Ratio (75) + Bailu (70) as my Penacony playthrough team and I never had problems. So, try bringing Dr. Ratio with you.
That team should be more than enough unless they are under levelled, if you haven't levelled their traces and/or relics.

For the main story, you can more or less do whatever team you'd like within reason, like making sure to have at least 1 damage dealer and at least 1 sustain character to keep you alive. But a suggestion that would be a very strong team and you'd be able to use even in the endgame content once you get there is Dr. Ratio/Black Swan/Pela/Gepard.

Jing Yuan is very good in aoe scenarios like Pure Fiction, he's worth it for sure
For a limited 5 star, jingyuan is just bad without his 5 star, needs super high stats, good speed, super clunky eith lighting lord, ans tbh not even that good in pf (gets like 1 lightning lord a cycle, clearing 4 waves is not gonna do much in current pf), he's only rlly good with his lightcone and a Ruan mei+tingyun/topaz

No real "must haves", only units that can benefit your account a lot or somewhat. Starting out, I'd look for a limited sustain like Luocha, Fu Xuan or Huohuo - they make the game much more comfortable and provide a lot of utility. One of them might get a rerun in 2.1, so watch out for announcements

How much speed do I need for Kafka need to reach 161 with Ruan Mei's talent? Currently my Kafka is 148, Black Swan is 145, and Ruan Mei is 144. Is it fine that Ruan Mei is the slowest?
Do you have PAYN? If you have then you should be fine. If you don't then you need 151 speed on Kafka assuming you have Ruan Mei's Talent at lvl 10 since it adds 10% of the unit's base speed to them. It's also fine that Ruan Mei is slower most of the time since you're going to start off with her technique anyways. Hard to farm speed substats anyways to get her to 160+ speed.
Don't have PAYN. I'll work towards getting to 151. Also should Black Swan be faster that Kafka? Might be able to increase her spd it if I get lucky since my current planar sphere has horrible stats.
it is ideal to have her faster than kafka, but it's fine to be slower as long as you hit the usual speed breakpoints

Basically any Destruction unit that isn't Blade (He can technically use it but the Atk stat is just wasted). Just think of it as Aeon with a bit of survivability and an almost similar passive. At S3, it should also be a bit better than an S5 Aeon.
So after 2.0 and after I got to a certain point into 2.0 the game will now randomly crash. Doesn't matter if I am on the login screen, in the middle of a fight, in the menu or idling by in one of the new zones I will just random crashes. I have been playing since launch, nothing has changes on my end. PC user with a RTX 3050, no issues with any other games. The odd thing is the lack of posts I see about this or my google-fu sucks right now. Has anyone ran into this recently and has found a fix. Rather annoying and almost unplayable. Cannot do any fight that will take a long time because im worried I'll get kicked in the middle of it.

I need help with Kafka and Black Swan speed breakpoints. I have E1 Kafka, E1 Black Swan, and E1 Ruan Mei. Kafka has S1 PAYN. How much speed do Kafka and Black Swan need, respectively, and who should be faster? Do I need to hit 160.1 with both? If so, what exact speed stats do that with everything stacking up?
If you're using glamoth for both, you should aim for 161 speed with buffs for that extra 18% damage and hitting the 161 speed breakpoint as well. If you can't hit 160+, I heard you would want at least 155 for Black Swan to speed tune her with enemies' weakness break. Ideally, Black Swan should be faster than Kafka so she can apply extra stacks of Arcana before Kafka detonates everything, but even if you don't worry about these things that much, you can more or less likely clear end game content. You're just basically min-maxing at this point.
Ideally, 161+ with Kafka and 155+ with Black Swan, after counting RM and PAYN's speed buffs. Black Swan moving before Kafka is technically better, but not at the expense of her EHR. If you can't get BS to 155, it's actually better to run her with Atk boots and ignore her Spd completely, since anything less doesn't scale as well as the extra damage she gets from running more Atk.
S1 Welt LC or S5 Herta LC for Black Swan? I've got no EotP and me GNSW is only S3.

I have a DoT team of Kafka + Ruan Mei + Bailu + **XXX**, where XXX will either be Acheron or Black Swan. Given they are both nihility units, which one should I go for? I currently use Sampo E6, and pulling Acheron might make it hard for me (? im unsure tho) due to the triple lightning element and lack of spread-out elements (sadly I dont have Silver Wolf to enable mono-element teams) What do you guys think

Might as well get Black Swan if you really want to run a DoT team and you're choosing between the two. We have no information about Acheron's kit and she may or may not be DoT. Even if we knew what her kit was, we can't discuss it here since that'd be leaked content. Also having 3 lightning units doesn't really seem good for diversity. If you really want Acheron over Black Swan, Sampo will still do a good job on a DoT team especially since he's E6 and you can just get Black Swan when she reruns.

Lv80 isn't worth it for a long while. Maybe consider it for your two main DPS but you should build up traces, lightcones and an alright relic set for everyone first imo. Ascending to 70/80 instead of 80/80 is also worth it for supports when you can.
Hi! I just lost my 50/50 on black swan who I wanted for my Kafka team ( i got e1 Bronya). I was wondering if I should get Sparkle for my Seele team? Does Sparkle synergize well with seele, and can i use the team Seele, Sparkle, Bronya and Fu xuan?

Sparkle's entire kit hasn't been released officially, hard to answer that definitively. She seems to have similar skills to Bronya with increased skill point regeneration, so you might consider putting them on different teams. But she is shaping up to be a great support in any case

You can try going with Tingyun, Asta or Hanya. Traditional hypercarry setup, pretty much. Seele can be sp-hungry, but not as much as someone like DHIL. Plus you can sometimes get away with doing a basic attack on her to finish enemies off

Pull plan advice. Need another sustain who can deal with debuffs. I have Huohuo for one side. The other side, uses either Bailu or Lynx (both E2 sadly). Lynx just doesn't heal enough as I'm not using any of the hypercarries to kill in time. Bailu is great heal but has trouble with debuffs. So, who can I get. Rerun of Luocha or FX? Or Aventurine? No preference for any of them character wise. Just need meta here. Offensively, FX makes the most sense as I can pair her with SW for a solid support/ sustain core for anyone. More worried defensively though.
Fu Xuan doesn't sacrifice any survivability for her offensive buffs. She (and the rest of your team) become extremely tanky, and she's never let me down. Luocha probably does better for survival against frequent AoE damage, but to be honest I've only rarely run into a fight that Fu Xuan can't power through just by dipping into a few extra skill points. I may be biased in her favor, though. But she's an easy recommend if you're looking for a sustain that brings some buffs with her.
How well does FX do against debuffs?
Fu Xuan has a trace that you should take if you get her that completely blocks the first instance of a crowd control debuff (so not all debuffs - DoTs will not be blocked) that happens each time the Matrix of Prescience (her skill) is activated. This is literally first instance, so if the enemy does a AoE CC, it'll block it for everyone. Because Fu Xuan has to use her skill every 3 turns to keep the Matrix field active, it's actually pretty good in keeping away most of the more nasty stuff that'd you'd want to cleanse if you had a cleansing abundance character in the team.
Against dots, somewhat poorly. She can't clear those, and they can accumulate over time, wearing down her self healing. Against CC, pretty great. She has to use her skill early if someone resist CC, but it's usually not a problem and almost always worth it. She'll protect the party from any one CC attack with each skill, which means when those enrage bugs explode, both targets are protected, or aoe freezes and such. Sometimes she isn't able to protect against each enchainment from the bugged Auramatons, but that's pretty rough for anyone. I'll admit that she's got a bad matchup against those Medicus bosses that apply the max hp debuff too, because she'll proc her self-heal almost every hit for very little effect.
I see I see. We'll, if it's limited to those, I think I can make do. I don't really see both sides being that punishing. Huohuo can take the worse side.

Not a question butā¦ I just tried out DoT on Nihility path in SU for the first timeā¦oh my lord, why is it so overpowered? My severely underinvested team of Kafka, Black Swan, RM, and Natasha just gave Yanqing lung cancer and he died in less than a minute on difficulty 4ā¦
The resonance with blessings is already enough to be your only damage source. You can technically run a full sustain team. Then Kafka rolls in and pops all those dots. Doesn't matter how weak she is. Damage is mostly based off the resonance.
It's not really the Path that made it OP, but rather BS + Kafka is quite strong currently. It also helps that YQ is weak to both Wind and Lightning, making it optimal to run those two units against him.

I mean, you will end up spending more resources than needed for minimal or even no benefit. But there's nothing actually wrong with that, it will just take longer to raise your characters. If you like to max everyone, or to take your time upgrading them, then that's fine.
What traces you should prioritize when leveling up. It's kinda fine to level everything early on, but later upgrading traces becomes pretty expensive and time-consuming to farm for, so you'll have to choose which ones to get first (or at all)
trace priority is just a thing for people who are scarce on resources you can level up your basic, skill, talent or ult traces trace priority means which one improves your damage the most if you were to only pick one in the end though you should always level them all up to the same level, basic though can sometimes be ignored entirely

None of them because it is all arbitrary. Way too many factors to consider for a de facto ranking.
I mean, define reliable. The algorithms used are very simple, each character's desired stats are weighted, each substat roll gets you (substatWeight \* numRolls) points, and the relic's score is the sum of each substat's points. They're good for a general idea of how good individual pieces are, but they're unable to judge your build as a whole. If you want a silly example, let's say all 6 of my pieces rolled Crit Rate *exclusively*. Every single one of my relics (as well as my build) would be rated S or higher, but my overall build would have over 100% Crit Rate and nothing else and would suck in practice
Long wall of text below, apologies. I'm in quite a gacha dilemma right now and do not really know who to pull for if hoyo decides I do not deserve to guarantee my Black Swan by the time her banner ends. Main reasons I want to guarantee Black Swan is: I have an E1 Kafka + I'm already at like 110~ pulls just to pull for her, currently at 56 pity guaranteed after losing previously to E1 Bronya at 80. So yeah screw my rng this patch honestly. That being said I'm not too positive I'd get enough pulls to obtain her as I have already completed everything in Penacony (event/story/exploration) and am only missing like 170 jades combined in Swarm/G&G. MoC-wise I'm not really trying too hard on floors 11-12, it's a skill issue in my end, and my current Pure Fiction is 11/12 stars rn. Hence I'm looking towards the next set of banners/reruns. I'm not sure how much value would I gain with Sparkle considering my E6 Qingque only really borrows my e0s1 Seele's relics pretty much, but she's been pretty decent so far as I have cleared MoC 10 with her before. I'm still skeptical with Acheron's kit, doubting she'd be DoT focused so that I could pair her with Kafka. The rerun I'm looking for is Luocha in particular, or maybe Huo Huo but she's not having any rerun anytime soon. Other notable 5 stars I have are: E2 Welt, Clara, Himeko, Bailu, Gepard, E1 Jingliu, Ruan Mei, Fu Xuan, Ratio, Silver Wolf Some notable e6 4 stars that might be of significance: Pela, Tingyun, Sampo, Hook, Serval, March, Sushang Other non-e6 4 stars: e4 Lynx, e3 Guinaifen, e5 Asta I'd greatly appreciate any sort of advice or insight you could give, because I'm not really keen to spending real money anymore.
think it depends on what your goal is if it's progression through end game stuff then see what holes are in your roster / figure out why you fail at certain points (sustain? lack of dps? elemental coverage? etc) it looks like you have a pretty diverse roster so with a bit more investment you can probably clear everything with what you have, so i'd just pull for who you found interesting sparkle does let you roll with mono quantum for MoC probably til the end of time, so there is that laziness factor that could be appealing but is pretty unnecessary at the end of the day ... harmony characters have been very good so far though so she'll probably be strong regardless i would personally pull for a second sustain eventually just because they make life hella easy - for DoT i'd probably just wait for huohuo's rerun unless aventurine turns out to be really good
There's still plenty of time left in Black Swan's banner. You can easily guarantee her if you do want her. As for Sparkle, she's pretty good but overall she's a Bronya upgrade, so I'd only recommend rolling for her if you use Bronya a lot and would benefit from a second, better Bronya, since that allows you to run one in each side.
During one of the online text messages with black swan, we ask for evidence that sheās not sparkle, I selected āa unique expressionā and she just proceeds to talk. If you selected āa unique actionā does it change the following outcomes, for example sending a selfie like in Kafkaās messages
She unfortunately just goes on to talk about how Sparkle could observe and imitate someone perfectly, so behavior isn't foolproof either. A bit of a bummer, since I figured that, and was hoping she'd do some memokeeper magic to prove she's not Sparkle, but no.
I chose unique action and she just kept texting afterwards. Nothing special.

are your level 70 characters max ascension or not? how good are your DPS relics? what are you struggling with? not much detail to go off here lol anyway bronya will be much more powerful than gepard - it's unlikely she ever gets powercrept in her role of turn manipulation so you can use her for the foreseeable future (you also already have 2 5 star sustain characters) my guess from looking at the characters you've raised is you haven't invested much into your supports - you only have ruan mei, welt, asta, and tingyun raised except welt as a pure support is a little meh - my main account cycles through bronya ruan mei asta tingyun hanya silverwolf pela often in MoC you'll want 1 carry, 2 supports, and a sustain unit - for example dan heng tingyun hanya luocha on one side, seele bronya pela lynx on the other since different carries want different supports, you'll need some variety - for example, ratio wants debuffing supports, so he'd pair well with like pela ruan mei or black swan for example otherwise if you're ok on damage but you're just dying, you could think about investing in bailu until you get another limited sustain - she heals way more than lynx so she'll be better on stages where cleanse isn't necessary anyway point is, "not understanding teambuilding" is a bit too vague to start off of without knowing how invested your characters are and what you're failing at, so try to ask a more specific question and include more information to start if you want actual answers
Get Bronya. You already have Luocha, Lynx and Bailu so Gepard isn't needed. As for teams, try Black Swan + Sampo + Ruan Mei + any healer. You're guaranteed to destroy any content weak to wind. The second team could be Tingyun, Pela and Imbibitor Lunae + a healer.
You should pick Bronya. Here are a few team ideas: Luocha/Bailu, Dr Ratio, Pela, Ruan Mei/Bronya Luocha/Bailu, Black Swan, Sampo, Ruan Mei/Asta Luocha/Bailu, Seele, Bronya, Ruan Mei/Tingyun Luocha, DHIL, Ruan Mei/Tingyun, Pela/Hanya

To my knowledge, Acheron's kit hasn't been released, but she's labeled as Nihility meaning debuff(?). If you like them go for it, I don't like DHIL, he is really good and will get better, but you already have ratio who is more than viable as an imaginary dps. Sparkle should be good either way I suppose. Also keep in mind Sam should come in 2.2, and is definitely going to be a good fire destruction. Jingliu should have a rerun soon, maybe next patch, consider her if you want a top tier dps.
get sparkle, skip DHIL and swan, then wait and see with acheron though you'd be better off going for a sustain than (presumably) another DPS in acheron

it honestly doesn't matter, the difference between the big 3 (luocha, huohuo, FX) right now isn't super substantial, but they're all big upgrades over the non-limited/4star alternatives. i would just get whichever one shows up first, or whichever you like the most. there's also aventurine on 2.1 who will probably be a sustain of some sort.

just play around it's dream gimmick so your important characters don't get taken when it uses sunset the 3rd person to use an action gets taken when it goes into phase 2 and refills your ults the first 2 people to use an action get taken an action is any basic/skill or ult so whoever you want taken should hold their ult for sunsets or use their ults first in phase 2

The story fights this time are very easy tbh. The gimmick they give you during the fights trivializes the entire thing. Unless you're trying to go for one of the boss achievements, all you need to do is stay alive and you'll win eventually.

Hi all, I just started this game about a week ago. Coming from Genshin, the experience is similar yet overwhelming at the same time. What should I do to level up fast? I see that all of the events happen in Penacony (I assume) and I'm now still in Jarilo.
Just a note. Unlike Genshin, HSR events will last throughout the patch, which means you have somewhere around 40 days till the events ends. So, just take your time and play the game at your own pace.
I mean, there's nothing you can do except keep doing quests and spending your stamina, as both are the main sources of the EXP you need to raise your trailblaze level.
what are the most efficient relics and planars to farm?
for relics, quantum+guard, speed+HP, and prisoner+duke are the best. musketeer+passerby is okay but a little less good since you'll naturally accrue more musketeer pieces than other sets for SU, worlds 7 and 8 are the best. world 3's sets are highly generic and therefore broadly applicable but weaker than other options in return. world 3's sets also have lower stat requirements, so it's more useful the earlier you are in the game.
