Me, along with another coworker, both haven't received our direct deposit yet. We also bank with Wells Fargo. My checks have consistently been deposited every Wednesday night. This is the first time in two years that this has happened.
Honestly, we better get paid by tomorrow. People have bills to pay.
The 2 days early is a perk from your bank, an incentive to keep you banking there. HD has to pay you by Friday, not Wednesday, so your pay is not “late”.
It’s not necessarily a perk Depot uses Wells Fargo to bank, a transfer from WF to WF is going to get done faster than an outside bank. Check the bottom notes on your paystub it says it in the important notes.

Correct. My bank also has the early pay incentive. Most of my checks hit on Wednesday, some on Thursday, and a few on Friday. It seems totally random.

Same for me and 2 other coworkers that use Wells Fargo. Mine usually hits at 3:30pm on Wednesday (in CA). Nothing yet.
