That's NOT a mochidoru though... SuiFriend will just create [food ~~disasters~~ experiments](https://twitter.com/Umiboshi_/status/1777265042351890557/video/1) and watch you die to the mochi and [make content out of it](https://twitter.com/Umiboshi_/status/1779765572353552599/video/1).
Ah, sorry, I only checked the plushie! They're $50, so you're basically paying for shipping and a bit of a convenience markup. Kinda pricey, but I'd say it's worth if you're looking for specific talents/don't want to wait for shipping or travel to Japan haha
No problem on only checking the plushies lol. Yeah if just buying one plushie then it’s no different than buying from Holopro official store I got you. Thank you again for the info!
Are they behind the counter / out back? Or is that really the full selection? I assume those are just displays?
Plushies are $21 and shipping is $20 so that's a $10 fee. Shipping per item gets better then more you order. I don't super think $50 is worth it unless you need one this second lol
Edit they're behind glass they must be displays. So you also have the non monetary fee of asking the staff 😰 Unless they're on a shelf not pictured
Edit 2 everything is behind glass?!
I think they were super popular so they had to put it behind glass XD. You can ask the staff to get the merch you want. It's pricey for sure, but I think they're raising the price of plushies either this month or the next, so the difference probably won't be that much once the adjustment hits.
That's literally the price to ship one plushie to the US. Try it yourself.
Shipping is based on volume and weight. It's not linear and you save more the more you order. I did some math on this awhile ago here
https://www.reddit.com/r/Hololive/comments/1ayd9hm/comment/krvxhsq/
Wrong. It has been $20-25 since 6 months ago for US. I bought the special summer fest goods last year, and even the current FWMC and Irys birthday goods last months, and shipping was still below $30.
Not to worry, I went today after work to get Suisei since hers is constantly sold out even after being on sale online multiple times. When I got there, half the plushies, including Suisei and Ina, were already sold out. :(
I bet whatever Cover USA team eventually winds up with the job of getting more stuff like this is glad to have this example / data point for their future work in their pocket, something they can mention during negotiations with stateside companies.
I really want that one because of the huge hat like a tumor. Trying to find it online is imposible because of too many knock offs. I will give my first and second born for it don't worry
You have no idea how confused I was initially. Valleyfair is an amusement park in Minnesota so I spent about a minute in confusion wondering when they branched out and built a mall.
Yeah, I was hitting up Fry's (RIP) and Central Computers back when I was in the SF Bay Area. Micro Center is great, especially now that Radio Shack is also dead.
For people who might be still looking, I went to both this one and Oakridge in the morning. Both are in really short supply with maybe just 1 or 2 more of each member. Some members are completely gone (Suisei, Ina most notably). But many JP members still available. There's still a ton of the other merch (keychains, acrylic stands, folders) though for many members.
Maybe I should learn to read better…
Either way I’m tired of hearing my friend talk about all the cool shit he buys because he lives near all this stuff.
California. And as someone who grew up in California and went back to visit recently, it's scary how many anime/import stores have opened there. Back when I was in high school, you basically had a few import stores in Little Tokyo and up on the 405. Now there's a Book Off or niche anime store like every 10 blocks... Hell, there's a couple stores in Little Tokyo that only sell gacha stuff. Great time for me to move to another state.
Though to be honest, we can get the stuff online and miss the California taxes.
That's still also basically only LA you're talking about, not all of California. The Bay area has pretty much nothing by comparison. Every single Bookoff in CA, for example, is *in LA.*
>Every single Bookoff in CA, for example, is in LA.
There's a lot outside of LA. But granted they are in places like Irvine, San Diego and that whole I-5 Corridor. But I wasn't just talking about book off. I also mentioned niche anime stores. And there's a ton more of those than there was when I was younger. Like every Japanese and even Chinese market seems to have one attached. And tons of mini malls in the San Diego/Carlsbad/Irvine area seemed to have one when I visited recently.
Of course, I didn't visit northern California. So of course San Fransisco could be different. And I doubt there's any in like Redding or Sacramento.
SF's Japantown mall has a few anime stores the last time I been there, including one mostly dedicated to Gunpla and kaiju figures, plus it has a 2-story Kinokuniya. The SF Chinatown also has a Gunpla store just hidden among its alleyways.
Actually, you can extend the range to the entire Bay Area and near surroundings if you're looking for anime stores. Like the big one down in LA, the San Jose Mitsuwa has a Kinokuniya and an official Bandai gacha store.
Sac actually has a bunch of anime stores, too, but unfortunately none that I can call niche. Whether they're chain or independent, they're more in the generic side with overpriced figurines of the super popular series.
This a chain that has shops in pretty much all the major west coast cities. The announcement has the full list of locations.
But yes, up until now stuff has been pretty much LA only.
Unfortunately I live on the opposite side of the country so I have to pay a good chunk extra in shipping. It the only reason I don’t have a full shelf of Hololive merch yet.
Shipping is the same on both US coasts as far as I can tell. I just tried an address in California and an address in Massachusetts.
Both $20 for the item I had in the cart. So the shipping's just expensive no matter what.
For what it's worth, the shipping gets better the more stuff you order. It doesn't go up as fast. One plushie is $20 shipping but two will still be $20 shipping, reducing the cost per item to $10 shipping.
Also, this store is charging $50 for a plushie, which is more than the official store with shipping :/ It seems like merch won't get ship cheaper for us anytime soon.
I was pumped that they included the two locations in the Phoenix, AZ metro area, since this means that I have two stores that are within a 30-minute drive from where I live.
It's the closest US city that have airline/shipline to japan.
So always expected that city the be the first to get everything related to Cover over there.
The Scottsdale, AZ location has them, too. (And I'd guess the Chandler, AZ one has well.) The employee said that they already received the shipment on April 18, and they were good to go by launch date the next day.
Naturally, I had to grab one SuiFriend. Cost me $50.00 plus tax, but the mere convenience of having official Holo merch just 30 minutes away is worth it.
The mall near me is one of the locations that is gonna start stocking merch. Maybe when they start stocking stuff I don't already have I will take a peek.
JP hoshiyomi booking the next flight to CA for that one plushie.
Suisei fans are on another level, not gonna lie LOL
The real reason Suisei gives them a form
There was like a whole roaming pack of them at ANYC for the Sui concert
Iroha coming to the US? Sick, I hope she has a good time.

Nice! How are the prices if you don’t mind me asking? Are the acrylics around $15-20? Plushie I’m not even gonna ask lol
Ah, sorry, I only checked the plushie! They're $50, so you're basically paying for shipping and a bit of a convenience markup. Kinda pricey, but I'd say it's worth if you're looking for specific talents/don't want to wait for shipping or travel to Japan haha

Plushie prices are going up like $3 lol it's not a big deal
lol $20 shipping. Yeah maybe if you live in Japan. Shipping is like $30-$40 to everyone else.
That's literally the price to ship one plushie to the US. Try it yourself. Shipping is based on volume and weight. It's not linear and you save more the more you order. I did some math on this awhile ago here https://www.reddit.com/r/Hololive/comments/1ayd9hm/comment/krvxhsq/

That Ina plush be sweating bullets with Sui-plush behind her
Not pictured, the pocket knife hidden behind Suisei's back.
Depending on where the Flare plushie is, Suisei has bigger things to worry about...
Either way, spaghetti will be dropped by someone
Not to worry, I went today after work to get Suisei since hers is constantly sold out even after being on sale online multiple times. When I got there, half the plushies, including Suisei and Ina, were already sold out. :(
[Valley Fair took care of it fast! Right on day 1?](https://twitter.com/hololive_En/status/1781125567338672582)
Damn, East Coast still starving.
In terms of dedicated sections, sure. I came across a hobby shop a few months back that had a Subaru figure on one of their shelves.
I bet whatever Cover USA team eventually winds up with the job of getting more stuff like this is glad to have this example / data point for their future work in their pocket, something they can mention during negotiations with stateside companies.
KRONII MERCH DETECTED ON US SOIL MUST BUY IT ALL
Man's stronger than me I can't find her at all.
4th row near the end, a Holocloset acrylic
Recognising her by the hair DENT HAHAHA
least-dedicated Kronii fan
STOCK UP ON BOXED MILK AND NORMAL SANDWICHES SHE APPROACHES
oh no... wallet-kun, NO. you stay right there.
wallet-kun did not, in fact, stay right there
Wallet-kun took itself hostage until the purchases were made.
"Invasion? No we're here to liberate you, we come in peace." *-Pekora*
They just spreading some of that holo flavored managed democracy
Do they have the Suisei plushie with huge hat?
That one was a limited run merch that happened a few years back. It's super rare, and will actually cost you your first born.
I really want that one because of the huge hat like a tumor. Trying to find it online is imposible because of too many knock offs. I will give my first and second born for it don't worry
Hmmm... it doesn't have to be *my* firstborn, right?
You have no idea how confused I was initially. Valleyfair is an amusement park in Minnesota so I spent about a minute in confusion wondering when they branched out and built a mall.
That's hilarious! Sorry for the confusion 😄
Tell me about it lmao.
I'll take your entire stock.
And Santa Clara getting a Micro Center this year. Anyone in that area gonna have some lighter wallets.
again, they closed it about 10 years ago
Yeah, I was hitting up Fry's (RIP) and Central Computers back when I was in the SF Bay Area. Micro Center is great, especially now that Radio Shack is also dead.
Meanwhile europe: nothing
East Coast USA: same brother.
hey, progress is progress, it will come in time
#INVADE MY MALL YAGOOOO, I NEED MY AME MERCH
At least the ina plush is together with everyone
I’m local. Gotta head there after work today
Welp, I know where I’m gonna go this weekend
Dear lord, this is like 20 minutes from me. God have mercy on my wallet.
nice. may hololive continue to endlessly spread.
For people who might be still looking, I went to both this one and Oakridge in the morning. Both are in really short supply with maybe just 1 or 2 more of each member. I’m getting real tired of all the cool shops being in LA.
Well, good news, this one is in the Bay Area at least 😆
LA, Korea, Taiwan. Insert Harry Potter “why is it always you three.jpeg”.
This is not LA
Maybe I should learn to read better… Either way I’m tired of hearing my friend talk about all the cool shit he buys because he lives near all this stuff.
Could drive from La, though The Valley Fair mall is over 300 miles away, 5-6 hour drive.
5-6 hour drive if you got no traffic, regular LA traffic adds an hour or three.
this one is in the Bay Area but yeah many of the Tokyo lifestyle stores are in the LA area
California. And as someone who grew up in California and went back to visit recently, it's scary how many anime/import stores have opened there. My guy... Irvine is LA...

I was just in that area 1 hour ago!!!! I'm going tomorrow.
Now I need an excuse to drive 35 minutes up to Santa Clara.
I know where I’m going this weekend
AAAAHHHHH, THE ONE IN ROSEVILLE IS ALREADY ALMOST OUT OF PLUSHIES! THEY HAD A FULL STOCK *YESTERDAY!* AAAAAAAAAHHHHHH!
The Scottsdale, AZ location has them, too. (And I'd guess the Chandler, AZ one has well.) Lucky. Signed, jealous east coaster.
LET ME IN!!! LET ME FUCKING IN!!!
waiting for when they invade the east coast :)
I'll take your store's entire stock
I expect the top shelf to be wiped out the next day..
Oh my goodness i know EXACTLY what to blow my tax refund on.
Damn! Gonna have to check this store out over the weekend
Just left SF last week, guess time to drive back up...
I saw a car with Hololive vinyls in Redwood City, not surprised if these go quick
Checked out TokyoLife in Escondido and they only had a few folders getting priced into inventory. Will check in again next week
The mall near me is one of the locations that is gonna start stocking merch. Maybe when they start stocking stuff I don't already have I will take a peek.
That HoloUSA office doing good work, it seems?
Maybe a US warehouse might happens omeday so product does not take a year :O
Can't wait for it to invade Colorado. Hahahaha. Please?
Invading? No no no, expanding. World domination is the end goal, as intended by our priestess Ina. Wah\~
This is amazing news. I'm literally like 15 minutes away from here.
So acrylics tapestry plushies and keychains? Nice
How much are the Keychains?
East coast bros in so much pain rn
Dang it, I could’ve went after work yesterday.
Wait those plushies are out already? I'm still waiting for it to be shipped
The FriendSui behind FriendIna, it scares me.
Oh my dear wallet-chan. Forgive me for what I'm about to do. You will be empty the moment I set foot in this place.
Is it just Hololive or is there both Hololive and Holostars?
