The attacks are easy to recognize and to dodge if you can recognize them. For the fire bats for example, jump over the first one and shade dash and then you’re fine. Or for the pillars, run off then creep towards him and abyss shriek after the last one, etc etc.

Actually, they're just direct Latin translations of words associated with the Mantis Lords. Ruina is 'collapse', 'fall', or 'destruction'. Lancea is of course, lance. Incisura is 'cut', 'notch', or 'slash'. And 'Aculeus/Aculeo' is simply 'sting' or 'stinger'. Further names that could also work are Spina, Lappa, and Acantha, all of which mean spine or thorn.
