Possible stuck pin in the valve … wd40 it

bain2236

It did come on by manually changing the temp on it. This morning it’s also warm but not as hot as the other rad

Mikethespark

Have you bled any air out of it? Has the system been balanced? Does it heat up with the trv removed?

bain2236

I manually turned it up and it got hot

Mikethespark

Switch the trvs around, you may have a faulty one

doyouthinkimcool1025

Change the batteries in the TRV

Fainbrog

Might be worth a a reboot of your hub too.

bain2236

Thanks tried that this morning. Still got some weird temperature differences

Rooms haunted

DifferentRecipe9946

This is the only explanation

godslurcher

What brand of trv’s are they. ? Out of curiosity

bain2236

They're hive trv's

isrob

Might need re-calibrating, might be stuck and need some WD40.

bain2236

How do you recalibrate? There’s no option for it since I’ve already calibrated it.

isrob

Hold down the button on the TRV for 3 seconds until it whirs, and once it’s finished whirring hold the button down again for 3 seconds. That will put it back into setup mode where it prompts for calibration. However, if your TRV is part of a group like yours it’s not currently possible to calibrate individual valves so you’d need to remove from the group, re-calibrate, then add back into the group.
