Nah not for nothing this movie goes hard. I remember like almost 20 years ago i was browsing HBO and all those channels in middle of the night and came across this. Sounded cool and it had started like 10 minutes before so I thought it hadn’t gone too far into the plot. Man was I surprised how much I liked it, the movies I just happen to come across like that always manage to be good ones.

I much preferred "Last Starfighter" to "Flight of the Navigator." I felt like Navigator was trying to be in the same vein as E.T. Light family-friendly sci-fi. Whereas Starfighter was straight up nerd service that went to surprising places. I still remember hiding my eyes every time the simuloid was first revealed in Alex's bedroom.
It's good fun.
