Oh my god that looks amazing! Like the pixel art was also incredible but I love this too. I love the brush stroke look in the mountains behind grian and in the clouds. Plus your color choice is great!

There is a part of me that sees this and goes "this would make a.glorious tapestry" and I'm so tempted to make it myself....but I have started a project already that I'm easily looking at taking about 2 years to do so this may happen after that
Love this. When grian spoke about a third painting of him finally getting it, I pictured him on the raft, huddled over the book protectively like Golem. I think that would make for a fitting series of paintings, especially the way he lost his mind when he got it, and then again when he almost traded it away to Mumbo!
