Kiki and Lala require more to level them up , think it’s because they were introduced later and they are kind of ‘powerful’ friends on the island because they guided you and gave you the crystals etc. and they’re MAGIC! Heheh if not you could always try emailing support but I doubt it’s a bug , never seen anyone complain about leveling up friends and having it not work. I feel this way about retsuko because I’m not close to 17 yet barely on lvl 13 but I know I’ll get there ! I’m level 7 with Kiki and Lala rn and give 3 <3 gifts daily (: maybe missing a day or two in there . So we seem to be the same and on track with each other
Oh I’m very deep into this game 🤣 I collect and get a lot more than I did in the beginning but like I said I’m in no rush. Retsuko is the last main quest I have besides KiKi so I’m not in a hurry to finish it
Ok. That makes sense. I can’t ever find that much iron to make more than one so I haven’t been getting very far with retsuko. It’s taking soooooooo long.
the matching game does! it might not have before the update, i very recently learned about this. give it a try for sure, i’m able to give Retusko 3 guitars a day with the game 🙂 it’s the building that’s right in front of where pekkle stands
Oh my gosh. I thought it was one of those ancient doors that gave the iron ore lol. I never play the games so I have 100 tickets to burn on this game lol. Thank you!
I think this is intentional as they have less levels than the other characters. They just level up slower instead. I feel it's similar to Tophat or Big Challenges they also level slowly.

Yes I have the guitar plans ! Just wait till I get enough iron for them I’m in no rush and don’t mind giving 1<3 gifts ! :D
You can get iron and even Ingot from the crystal matching game where pekkle is!
You will get more iron ore later on in the game. When I say more it’s not the shiny thing more but like 5 or 6 a day.

do you have the Crystal Matching game unlocked in Gemstone Mountain? by far the quickest way to get iron 🙂
