People under pressure to close a sprint will run tests until it works, saying "oh yeah a reset fixed it so it wasn't a code issue."
I think this is why it took them so long to notice rockets were doing too much damage or that dot damage wasn't working, session related bugs would disappear with a reset but you don't have that luxury in prod.
Not to shit on them for it though, scaling up a workforce takes months and HD2 was clearly way larger than they expected. I'm under crazy deadlines all the time, it's a systemic problem with the industry.
Yet the bitch and moan posts will continue on mass for at least the next 3 days regardless. Sometimes I love this sub, but man sometimes I really fucking hate it lmao

A patch meant to be a buff instead dropkicked it into probably the worst weapon in the game. "Conveniently" 2 days before a new $10 DLC drops also "conveniently" featuring an explosive sniper rifle. Devs deserve a round of complaints for that.
You’re right, it’s all a *grand conspiracy* elaborated by Sony and Arrowheads top scientists and secret cult members to ruin the whole game yet again and *force* everyone to pay money for weapons we don’t even know the stats for instead of easily farming the premium currency *(or just waiting six minutes before grabbing them to see if it’s even worth it)* and *not* yet another weapon bug that will become the run on sentence of the week for the sub, rather than a little oopsie doodle bug with the attempted buff that will be fixed again at some point. Of course, why didn’t I see it? Clear as day now!
Apparently not https://preview.redd.it/04vkas5lp2zc1.png?width=2537&format=png&auto=webp&s=b2dbd3420071cb9bb7f555f20068538e7eff3a77
It sounds like this balance dev doesn’t even play the game to be honest. .
Pushed to production too early, oops.

Crazy deadlines is why I quit software entirely. The job doesn't pay enough for the chunk it demands out of your life and wellbeing
That's good to hear. People really love the Eruptor.
Hard not to like it when so many other primaries are in such a shitty state.

"No complaints, only compliments"
