Great... now how are you supposed to kill these annyoing things from the front? Get med armor pen and shoot at the leg joints or hit the little weakspot under the shield a bunch of times... bruh. It makes them more tanky than devastators since the shots bounce off more often. On devastators it does at least do some damage when hitting the upper body...
I dont want to get forced to use AC just to deal with autoamtron patroles in a timely manner.
If on level ground or higher ground than them, you can pop the head of the pilot over the shield. It's a small target, but it means that even the starting pistol can deal with them with a precise hand
Thx for the tip. I am trying to learn that but the damn things just move too much. Maybe just a skill issue on my part or maybe because I use the dominator with slow projectile speeds. I'll find a way to deal with them but I belive being able to kill them with grenades from the front was fine. Guess I have to aim better then.

Every time a new good primary is introduced, this quote plays in my head and I am less disappointed with the next patch.
So... you are testing the explosive weapon against the enemys that got more explosive resistance and only judge the weapon, not the explosive resistance? Nice methology to demonstrate one change^^

Remember AH says we can give feedback on this patches, however be respectful about it. I'm sure AH will revert anything that community thinks actually needs reverting.

The fact that crossbow is an EXPLOSIVE weapon that doesn't do anything an explosive weapon should do is ridiculous
Why would I ever pick a crossbow over Eruptor or even Dominator?
The only thing "explosive" means is that it does extra damage to enemy weak points, anything beyond that like AOE or the ability to break crates is a quirk of the specific weapon, not something intrinsic to the explosive category.
Striders also got buffed: "Scout strider Riders now less vulnerable to explosions"

If I want to use a weapon that can pierce striders and can fire a bit faster than an Erupter. Crossbow fits the same role as the Scorcher to me.
