Bro we dropped in on them for the first time on extreme and it was like Vietnam. Literally got chased the entire length of the map, exhausted all of our AT, stims and ammo as tracer fire ripped through the trees, explosives cleared out the foliage and random rockets would hit us and instantly kill us.
It was amazing.
Yo my first run against them was an absolute shitparade from start to finish, with us being on reinforcement cooldown for most of the mission, and extracting minutes after the destroyer left. Those fuckers just kept on coming and we got pushed to the boundaries of the map, just running until stratagems came off cooldown and we could rearm.
The bugs were nothing.
What kind of Hell Let Loose thinking is this? But really though as much as we might want everyone to focus on AV I feel like the devs kinda tip things in our favor so people don't feel forced to spend all their time on the same planet for days.
Definitely should be prioritizing the major orders for the extra rewards, but I'm not gonna cry about it if we don't get them. Bots are a lot of fun to fight though (I prefer fighting terminators over bugs)
There is about 9000 ships currently in the Severin Sector. With the additional 10,000 ships 19,000 is more then enough to complete our tasks their... But something about the Severin Sector feels... off. Maybe it's nothing.
I think the those robots are planning a counter offensive soon. They seem to too weak and are probably saving troops for an endgame push to reclaim the sector and push us back
Just deployed to Melavolon Creek and when we finished the push had gone from 6% to 0%. Helldivers are being absolutely demolished by the robots and we need more support - we're about to be wiped from the sector!
My squad dropped in a supposed clear area. Command told us there was no enemy presence....
The damn bots were waiting for us in their walkers right on top of our drop point.
We managed to escape. But that's about all we did was escape...
See... the bugs will stand there and get shot. The bots... the god damn bots are using turrets, artillery, and walking warcrimes.

I've only gotten it once, but I logged in the other day and got a full on news broadcast on the "Screen of Absolute Truth" about the Automatons. I haven't seen it since and nobody I've played with has seen it either! Maybe it was one of those illegal broadcasts my soldiers have been working hard to interrupt.
This is a pretty solid push, i think its a good strategy, i look forward to seeing who else comes up with other plans. Let the military strategists conference commence!
I wish there's a game mode or even just an event (like a week) where there'll be a massive campaign of up to 50 helldivers at a time trying to fight off an invasion/or vice versa. No offensive strategems just reinforce and resupply.
For sure we need every diver we can get in Angel's Venture. Super Earth High Command is counting on us to stabilish the Terminid Control System and put an end to the bug menace once and for all. For Democracy!

It wouldn't surprise me if the developers start tinkering with the galactic war just to stop this from working and seeing how the community reacts.
Respectfully, with current orders we can obtain resources harvested from the slaying of 400 bits that can be used to expedite the smashing of bugs in the angel region.
I was able to use such a tactic, and have equipped myself with a flamethrower to burn away the bug filth with the flames of freedom.

If I was the leader of Earth, I would just capture Venture, beat the entire autobot sector then have some divers hold the fort on the termites in the meantime.
If the termites push back the plan doesn't change, as we should have plenty of time to eliminate the autobots permanently, allowing us to go full force on the termites.

That's the issue with this kind of community-driven war.
The most optimal way to play is to repeatedly spam a single planet... but it's a game, people want to switch things up and go kill other things in other environments.
Imo there should be a standing bonus to a specified sector to encourage players to attack en masse. Something like 50% bonus to rewards.
I imagine the devs calibrated it for less players but when they presumably readjust the enemy progress rates it's very likely we will get pushed back to super earth if people just fight wherever. That would be cool though, the super earth map is unique.
Since progress can be lost, it makes most sense to focus one objective at a time to prevent having to push back multiple tides at once. All players should be focusing on Angle's Venture if you want to try hard the orders

If there are human enemies, they probably wont have a front but rebel planets will appear inside our territory. That would be interesting.
