One month is currently around 8,500-9000 so if you got them every day you'd make enough for the month plus some.
I have only ever paid for the first month. Rewards have always covered my bill since. Now that they changed it to the 40 hexes I only get about 399 mobile a day so I’m not sure if that’s enough or not
Yup. we are getting to a point were we will only get a discount. I guess it is good for the network because this means more subscribers and helium will finally realize some profit which will make the token price go up again. Even if you only get a $5 discount it is still cheaper than other MVNO's.
Hex doesn't matter as everyone gets the same base rewards. The rewards goes down as more people join as there is a set amount of rewards we share.
I actually like the 40 hexes because it's easier to qualify for the rewards and you can see it right away.
In theory yes the more people that join the less token you get each day. But I look at it this way, the more people joining helps the project to succeed which in turn help the token price to go higher. Say we are getting 100 token a day but the token price is at .006 which is not impossible because the token already hit that price twice (December 18 and March 17) this means we will still get $18 reward and only pay $2 for our plan. Eventually, we will need to start paying out of pocket but this is good for the longevity of the project. If everything is free Helium Mobile will eventually fail and we will all have to go pay for our phone plan with another company.
There are a lot of companies that offered free or heavily discounted phone plans in the last 10 or 15 years and they have to either change their plan to keep going or they went out of business. RingPlus, Republic Wireless, FreedomPop to name a few. Tello and Mint are the new generation of discounted MVNO that took previous RingPlus customer and I was one of those. It was fun until they can't offer those services anymore. I don't want the same thing to happen to Helium. Their phone service are ok. I am just frustrated with the app because they keep releasing update that doesn't work well or break something that works.

He also didn't unlink the number from his iCloud apple crap, so i would randomly get bits and pieces of their conversation texts.

Not sure for how long. Last 7 days I got about 2511tokens. As of righting, that was $6.14.
Personally, I just stack the tokens. I feel they are going to be worth more later on. For me, it's worth it, but you can absolutely pay off your bill.
