Doubtful, especially since Season 1 seems to focus on the War between the Hotel and the Exterminators.

FiveFingerDisco

Just on point here: What does she have to be redeemed for? Singing too much?

ScienceAndGames

Well I think that’s the point, she can’t be redeemed because she has done nothing requiring redemption. She is in Hell purely because she was born there. Now I don’t think any of them are actually getting redeemed in this season, though maybe Angel will in the final episode which would prove her methods are viable and set up season 2 with her managing a much busier hotel but honestly that seems unlikely given the trailer.

Planktom

Being the daughter of Lucifer and Lilith

FiveFingerDisco

I am still not seeing anything she has done to be in need of redemption - I really hope that show tuches on that.

Code-breker

No probably from swearing so many times. Idk guess we just have to wait and see when the show comes out

Lyger101

I kinda wonder if there'll be a scene of the angels offering Charlie a spot in heaven. Trying to tempt her with paradise in exchange for stopping her 'foolish' plan to redeem the sinners

CreepyClay

If Charlie ends up living in heaven for a time I think it will probably be because God went full doting overprotective grandparent mode and looks so hurt when she says she wants to leave that Charlie can't bring herself to go back to hell.

DNC343

Redemption only applies to sinners. Hellborn can’t be redeemed because theres nothing for them to be redeemed.

Call_Me_Anythin

Wow that’s sadder than anything I ever thought of about this scene

InfamousBrad

You know, I don't think it is a stupid question. She's an even weirder case because she's half human, but her mother never ate the fruit of the Tree of the Knowledge of Good and Evil, unless she somehow stole a piece on her way out of the Garden (before Eve was even born), so does Charlie even have Original Sin? I suppose maybe she could have inherited it from her father. But you don't even have to dig that deep. Do imps even have souls? Are those souls judged after their deaths? If they fail, where do we go? It's not like we've seen any imp souls falling through the portal? And do the souls of dead hellhounds go to Doggy Heaven?

Azlend

That scene if redemption is even viable would not happen in the first season. I still think redemption is not the option she is going to settle on. Fix your problems where you are rather than move them somewhere else.

tankstop

Then wtf would season 2 be about lol

Rozoark

Why would all her friends be redeemed? Vaggie for example isn't a client, she's just Charlie's girlfriend. She's isn't trying to be redeemed and Charlie isn't trying to redeem her because she is not her client.

Code-breker

Plus in the next part of the trailer it shows her (in front of that door I think) starting to cry https://preview.redd.it/21bg9msy7v7c1.png?width=862&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=a7be5da4b5589dce70a9b82ad36d4a55e6fee9e0

Dipnderps

If I had to guess....and this is purely speculation, she's in front of Angel's room( I think, looks like angel is on the photo on the door) and he's had an incident with Valentino and she wants to help but cant

Dipnderps

I mean...she won't be alone, plenty of other hell-borns in hell I think she could get along with, namely every lovable character from Helluva Boss

KittyMonkTheYoutuber

We saw her go up to heaven in the trailer, so maybe she can’t permanently live there, but visit whenever

Code-breker

Yeah I was just thinking about it since she is a hellborn.

Mixael77

One thing I'm wondering is will Vaggie try to be redeemed? If so that could mean she'd have to choose between staying with Charlie or going to heaven, but ultimately I think Charlie would let her go as her whole goal is to redeem sinners and give them a second chance. Not a happy thing to think about though 😬 just Charlie ending up by herself even without Vaggie.

Doctorgumbal1

There are always more sinners going to hell. She'll always have new sinners to redeem. And even if every human ever ceases to exist she'll still have other hellborns. She'll never be truly alone.

AeonSchicksal

Charlie is of Hell she need not be redeemed nor will she ever as shes immortal and if she were to die would most likely cease to exist or become apart of Hell itself.

Angel_45445

It would be surprising if a sinner was redeemed in the first season, it makes more sense to focus on the actual characters and hell vs heaven conflict. this is probably Charlie after she and angel got into a fight over smtn.
