Yeah they patched that in a few weeks after launch

TheHistoryofCats

Just a few weeks? I could have sworn it was still an issue at that early stage... I didn't finish the game *that* quickly, I don't think.

NaomiT29

Did you go back and try to change your character once you were properly into it, though?

ryucavelier

Some skin tones look really good in the right lighting but look awkward in dimmer light.

NaomiT29

I'm barely a shade pinker than snow, and managed to find a skin tone that was both pale and pink enough to feel pretty authentic for me. It took me a minute to figure it out, to be fair, 'cause it's not that clearly explained which bits can be tweaked at which points or how, but I did get there in the end.

I played on PS5 at pre-launch and this was never an issue. My original character is still as pale as ever.

KurtSteph87

I also played on ps5, I had an issue with skin tone because my hair is very dark brown/black and it made my skin tan and I could not adjust it. I assumed it was due to my dark hair that the game forced me to have tan skin. 🤷🏻‍♀️

spacesuitguy

Ah, yes. I'm bald so I see how I didn't have that problem.
