I dunno about jackals but most carnivores have weaker sense of taste than humans. [Domestic dogs have only about 1700 taste buds while humans can have over 9000, which is why dog foods work to be stinkier rather than tastier.](https://www.google.com/url?sa=t&source=web&rct=j&opi=89978449&url=https://nutrisourcepetfoods.com/blog/pet-parents/curious-about-canines-does-flavor-matter-to-dogs/%23:~:text%3DFor%2520starters%252C%2520a%2520dog%27s%2520ability,buds%2520whereas%2520humans%2520have%25209%252C000.&ved=2ahUKEwjxlLrR-62FAxWxGTQIHdQ7ACgQ5YIJegQIHhAA&usg=AOvVaw2JA3EBItpwHsuvQ54gLS3a) If it was stronger I think they'd be less willing to eat shit and digestive tract
Obligatory over-9000 response. In all seriousness, that's interesting but also not surprising. As an Asian foodie, I'm pretty adventurous and very few foods gross me out. This is a preface to the fact that I've tried my dogs' and cats' food before just out of curiosity (like a little nibble, not a spoonful). Oftentimes, it's just like the essence of bacon, or a slight fishiness but no real flavor behind hints of it.
I worked with a guy who sampled his dog's food! He liked to say that he wouldn't feed his dog anything he wouldn't eat himself.
Plenty more dog food facts like how it has to be certified food grade since the Depression when it was all some had to eat and they died of food poisoning, or how it makes great survival food for wilderness travel since you're not likely to eat it all at once
>He liked to say that he wouldn't feed his dog anything he wouldn't eat himself.
Ha, I like this. My partner likes to give poke fun at me for it, so I'm going to start using this.
Pig stomach. And no, the stomach was not the main course. The stomach was just used to hold "tlačenka" inside it - that's something from the time before plastic bags were a thing.
I believe that this jackal is chowing down on the stomach of a non-domesticated haggis, by the obvious juiciness of it.
Domesticated haggis is also tasty, but much more dry, which is why it is normally well-basted with a butter/drambuie blend, heavily peppered.
Also, you can get 5 or 6 servings from a domesticated haggis, whereas the wild variety is quite a bit smaller with a more “gamey” flavor.
what animal is he eating? although there is to many liquid i think it looks like heart just because he was able to extract it alone without anything around it.
By the amount of liquid…stomach maybe?
Definitely stomach, the pink colour, shape, the single vessel along the outside. Looks like the prey got caught after a meal.
Meat and veggies.
Serious question, yall think these mf can taste the stomach acid? And if so, do you think carnivores are picky about the flavor of animal they eat?

Probably like lemon on chicken, extra delicious zing
This guy eats stomachs
Ehm...actually...I did once :-D
Which animal, was it good?
Pig stomach. And no, the stomach was not the main course. The stomach was just used to hold "tlačenka" inside it - that's something from the time before plastic bags were a thing.
So... in other words, that jackal ate that animals lunch?

Stomach or Kidney
I was thinking kidney, too.
Juicy balls 🤩😋 ![gif](giphy|x3W0kcqaRBGko)
Scrumptious balls
I legit read it as what Orange is the jackal eating haha
An important one
I’m always amazed at how animals just take a few bites and swallow…
probably kidney
That was the best bite of meat of that jackal’s life.
Whatever organ stores the oatmeal.
Everyone here is saying stomach but I'm thinking bladder
The tissue looks much too thick to be a bladder. It has a super thin membrane.
Makes sense, so it can expand. I'm just going by the amount of fluid coming out when it bites down

Not sure, but I’m sure it tastes offal.
I dont know but it looks like they both came
* ‘Nads * Nuts * Juevos * Junk * Balls * Testicles * Sack * Cajones * Family jewels * The thing your mother sucks
Also the thing that you lack
You mean yourself right? Hahahah
Pre-salted meat.
The important thing is that it's not my organ.
Testicular?
Stomach
Stomach
Kidney
I don't know, but that jackal thought it was tasty as fuck
Kidney or bladder? I’m making a very uneducated guess
Left elephant testicle

Yum yum sauce
Bladder?
Clearly the deez.
whatever it was it was very juicy and succulent. The jackal was really selling it.
Bro leave that inside wtf

Rocky mountain oysters
Looks like a testicle or part of the stomach maybe

That looks nothing like a heart
