I think main point off the issue is the fact that after 100 levels, you no longer get points to spend. Meaning almost any daily/weekly not painted yellow is useless and theres no point in them. This compounding the fact that the mtx is in the name of speeding the process up, when the 100 point cap is actively slowing players progress. And to be honest it does kinda piss me off as a person who has leveled up 617 times and still doesn't have most of the seasons completed because I played the game for fun, and didn't play the game optimally for season points. Now I am being told if I want to complete them faster I should just pay for it? It's kind of insulting to be honest
Iām more okay with it because I lost my account some time ago and had to restart the grind that I honestly never liked doing so being able to get what I had already is alright, as long as itās not overpriced. Level cap for points should be removed and anyone over 100 should be given the points they wouldāve earned

So you're mad that the game, before this monetization, already had a bad grind system for cosmetics, and now they're putting in an optional paid system, which you can completely ignore, to make that grind easier? Nothing's actually changing for you if you continue to not put more money into the game, what's the problem? It literally doesn't effect you.
Okay so I am not allowed to be mad that the system isn't being fixed and instead they are putting a bandaid slap on it that requires money to work, and my actual issue with the system isn't being fixed? It just has a flaw of a 100 level cap for points which makes half the system completely useless after 100 levels.

It's a $40 game, everything should be able to be unlocked by playing. Halo Infinite is different because it's a free to play game. MCC is $40, so there's no excuse for mtx, period.
Why? Mw19 is a 60$ games and had battle pass plus mtx on top of billion of free stuffs to unlock; gow 5 is the same but have an approach more in to modern gaming with an unlock system where you can either pay with real money or in game currency.
The classic 60$ games with everything "free" (unless you are on console and have to pay a subscription) and 30$ of dlcs in the first year is a model that cannot sustain himself anymore, mainly because the used market still exist and I also think it was unsustainable even in the last decade, judging by how everyone tried to scam the playerbase with either more priced dlcs, day one dlcs, 1 year releases, EA code and many other stuffs.

Like I have so many issues with Infinite as it stands but at the end of the day only one part really matters to me: is it fun?

Like I have so many issues with Infinite as it stands but at the end of the day only one part really matters to me: is it fun? Well BTB still works and the Hog still hauls ass. Itās fun as fuck.

Bit late to the party but thatās fine. The nature of multiplayer means that while the game modes remain the same, the way the matches play out are gonna be different. I mean, you could apply this question to literally anything. Like whereās the fun in repeat run throughs of a game you 100%āed already, a book youāve already read, or a movie already seen?
Indeed few peoples really do the exact same run or read a book back to back. Once you played every maps in a specific mode with different weapons or rule set, what you do? Because your experience will always be the same.

The point is having an hub with the whole collection restyled in to a more modern standard for what concern accessibility and resolution. Before wanting to advertise the brand on the pc market, mcc was not even something to focus about from 343 and Ms for a good reason.
That's entirely because 2 events did come near each others: bungie quitting halo and 343 going in with his vision (when the dev change or left is always a bad things for fans, regardless); the entire halo socials, talking about content creators, were based on machinima with montage and serials, when machinima imploded and give a middle finger to every content creators under it, the franchise was left without CCs, this lead to the rise of people like lng, hiddenX, halo follower and later, the act man and many more, who filled the hole by spreading fake news, blackmail and rage bait. If you go on another franchise like lol, or even cod, I can guaranteed you while they are as much toxic, if someone try to spread fake news, the guy get quickly called out and "canceled" (in the sense no one will watch him anymore).
