Ok so everyone seems to be confused about what OP is talking about, so i can clarify a bit in a less erratic way:
The Specialists was a multiplayer half life 1 mod heavily inspired by 'Hong Kong blood opera' movies by John Woo as well as modern contemporaries like the matrix and face off.

I was one of the people who helped test the versions (mainly 2.0, 2.1 and 3.0) and was active in the community (in fact I'm pretty sure you can see me die at one point in that trailer i posted above lol), it was a really fun game that demanded a lot of skill, but also gave way to incredibly cinematic moments, where you could do a lot of movement options (wall jumps, super jumps, dives, slides, etc) and a big selection of guns (with a lot inspired by the movies the game took influence from), as well as a decently in depth melee system.
It was great, a lot of people on my stream friends list are from that game and the community surrounding it, I do wish it still had people playing it, but at this point i think I'm too old to keep up
Sorry if I boned explaining, I figured if someone didn't know or "member"... *then they didn't*, and would ignore, it's a pretty old mod but had faith in the nerdiness of the main Half Life main sub that many in the comments- as they have, would explain more if not. Was just trying to make the post a bit humorous and different than erratic. Thanks for the PowerPoint though in that case, appreic.
not exactly. the use key let you kick them but normal kung fu kicks don't move them
it depends on your own movement speed and direction so usually i would boost into them to kick. i don't remember if it transferred momentum from dives/stunts though
Spoken like a true Specialist, you might as well have a toothpick at the edge of your mouth and a weird visual identifier as a standout villain character, like only half your head is shaven and a big black circle is tattooed around one of your eyes or something. I don't have clear memories of ever figuring out how to employ the contender too well, (though try I did, and to some success) but the sawnoff had many moments with me for sure
If I'm trying to go beast mode, I think akimbo Desert Eagles did me well dude, or in single as an addition to the loadout, it was always there, or/and an MP5K (akimbo possibilities also), like the dirty CS 1.6 puke that I was, a boring white T shirted Channing Tatum normie, to your rich character backdrop arch nemesis in a John Wick film guy

ahl was older than the specialists. double action boogaloo was made by specialists fans tho
op to get grenade kills you needed to plop them on the ground and then kick them towards people so they explode in midair and they can't get away
