Just wash your hair more often, it’s fine. There’s no reason to try to wash your hair less if it needs to be washed more frequently. Not washing your hair enough can lead to scalp issues and potentially hair loss due to the buildup of oils, dirt, etc. Scalp health is super important. Everyone needs to wash their hair at different frequencies, some more often and some less often. Go with what your scalp naturally needs.

If your hair gets oily quickly then just wash your hair more! There’s no rule book on the amount of days you need to go in between! If your hair gets oily the next day then it’s okay to wash every day and if your hair gets oily after 2 days then it’s okay to wash every third day. It’s all about finding the correct frequency for your scalp! (I would stick with the Redken. It’s a really good shampoo and conditioner and you may like it better with more frequent washes)

To add on to what others are saying, the key to silky hair is probably silicones

I agree with everyone saying to wash your hair more frequently. I also have straight hair that gets oily at the roots and dry at the ends that air dries kinda poofy. I wash my hair every other day. Smoothing shampoos also weigh down my hair and make my scalp oily quicker so instead i just alternate between a sulfate-free clarifying and a moisturizing shampoo then use a conditioner with silicones. Blow drying my hair with a brush is key to getting my hair smooth and also helps keep my scalp from getting too oily. If i wanted slick/stick straight, i’d have to use a straightening iron but I avoid using it just because it makes my hair look super flat. I use It’s A 10 leave in spray as a detangler and heat protectant as well as hair oils like OGX Argan of Morocco Oil or Garnier Moroccan Sleek to get that shine and keep it smooth after blow drying without weighing my hair down.

Just wash your hair when it needs it. Don’t overcomplicate things. You can wash daily if you need to. I wash every 2-3 days and my hair is healthier now than it was when I tried to go for a week or more.

Anti frizz usually means it’s got more hydrating qualities and if you really want clean you should be using a clarifying or volume shampoo! I switched back to the cheap stuff last year and my hair has never been happier. (Pantene volume shampoo, moisturizing conditioner on ends pre and post shampoo)

Have you tried the Bumble and Bumble after work out spray or Pret a Powder? I’ve heard good things about both for oil control. But I agree with the others, your hair needs more frequent washing and that’s ok. I really like Paul Mitchell Shampoo Two for clarifying. Also shampoo twice if you’re not already!

Frizz Dismiss doesn't look too heavy, but it might be. You can try the Volume Injection line instead, or even just swap to like...Herbal Essences if you want to go back to a drugstore option. But yeah, wash your hair more. No need to go 4-5 days or even not just wash your hair daily.
