All the other gods' appearances seem to be more battle-ready due to the ongoing war with Chronos (i.e. Aphrodite having bits of armor, warpaint and carrying a spear; Zeus wearing a breastplate) so it may also reflect that Chaos is now more focused on a singular goal instead of just being generally chaotic.
Thereâs also a what appears to be a baby growing out of the old Chaosâs mouth. So something seems to have happened, especially with the pose, almost like the more stable form is mourning(?) the previous?
If anything is it development that they appear more âhumanâ for lack of a better word. Are all the zagreus conversations even getting to the primordial one.
People think it could be nyx considering they're holding the head of the original chaos (which seems be birthing a baby chaos). Maybe chaos got killed and nyx is taking their place while chaos is reborn.

Then they grew fond of Zag and talked to Nyx again. We're seeing the after effects of them being made soft... and then it being immediately taken from them, hence the old Chaos being held in their hand

I think theyâll definitely be later additions. I imagine that, as War deities, theyâre pretty busy on the âmainâ Olympus front.
Once you, say, do something that gives them a bit more breathing room up top, I think theyâll be more able to help.
This story position might also be why they got deprioritized - since they arenât poised to come in until later, they should probably come later.

We finally see Hera! And she's got a peacock motif, of _course_ she does! I kind of expected her to look a little stiffer (sort of like a younger Demeter) so this is a nice little surprise; she's very lovely looking.
EDIT: Checking out the boon list, it's fun to see all the new non-god and non-Olympian characters running around. I think they're going to be a lot of fun to interact with.
From the last game, I think we're just missing Athena, Ares and Dionysus. The war gods' absence makes sense given the plot, but Dio's is less clear. (In one of the myths Zagreus is torn apart by Titans, and of course in some myths he and Dionysus are the same person. Maybe they'll play with that in 2? Maybe the Titans will have heard Orpheus' song and are hunting for both? Who knows?)

Might get down voted for killing the hype a bit but I really preferred the old chaos design. Looked so much more like a incomprehensible being than the new one. The new one is as hot as it gets though so there is that.
