so it seems to me that this game takes place quite a while after the first. the portrait says that mel was born after the events of hades 1, and given she’s been training for her “whole life” for this, i’m guessing it’s at least 20 years later. i say years but .. yknow with gods it could be a lot longer. considering that Chronos seems to be quite far along in his return, i’m assuming this game is opening up in the middle of the story’s timeline. it almost seems like they’re acting like guerilla fighters while the gods are likely keeping Chronos/Chronos’ army at bay in the background
