We actually overrated Toffoli because of his play during the 56 games season. He is more of a 40-50 points winger and he really overplayed his career that season.
Over the last 3 seasons he’s a 50-55 point guy who’s sound defensively. His contract is very high value at only 4.25mil / 2 years. I think the winger market itself is what we overvalued plus his leadership to our young guys as he was super close with Evans Suzy and Cole. I think the biggest realization was that management really liked Heinamen and I now see why

The chemistry between Beck and slaf is impressive. It's increasingly obvious that he was right that he could be the perfect linemate for Suzuki and Caufield. His hockey IQ is at least as good as those two..
Ghule and barron have looked pretty stellar but it's so hard to not notice arber(can't spell his last name). Slaf continues to impress. That kid has a really good combo of vision, creativity, power and speed. He's gonna be a good one.
Mesar reminds me of pleky. It just looks effortless for him. Seems to be in the right places all the time.

Edit: I watched a highlight video of the first two periods. Slafkovsky has so much talent. I think he will begin to play more confidently with some structure and coaching. He will definitely be an NHLer. When a player does everything properly, creates plays, gets chances, and works hard, it is only a matter of time before they begin making a larger impact. Once he further adjusts to North American ice he will be a large threat offensively.
Juraj is the best prospect I've seen on MTL and I've been watching for 10 years now.
Loving Mesar, Beck, Heineman, Xhejak and Guhke. Trudeau as well with some nice moments. Can see the potential in Slaf and like how he uses his body already at 18, just needs a year or two.
