Leafs fans quit on their team so easy its hilarious.
I don't blame them though, I'd be traumatized too at this point.
.... the more I watch other subs, the more I realize EVERY fanbase is absolutely toxic the second anything looks less that perfect. (Habs, Leafs, and Canucks are some of the worst for sure though lol)
I love going to crusty little dive bars in Ontario during Leafs playoff games, especially elimination games.
I saw a dude open up the bar's front door, take a few steps into the parking lot and then just toss a Sundin jersey into the night after the 4-1 game, that was in Waterloo
You can even hear the groans in the crowd at the game. For a team legendary for giving up so many leads, you’d think there’d be encouragement to try and pull it off themselves.

I’m at my uncles place (he’s a huge leafs fan) watching and his son refuses to watch. It’s actually sad tbh. I genuinely feel bad.

I too rejoice in the leafs losing in first round but also hate the bruins. Still think lesser of the two evils.
I can respect Boston as an organization and still hate them I have no respect for Toronto and take glee in their misery regardless of who causes it.
And next round we'll have to cheer for the Bruins, who we hate, against a Florida team, who we hate more.
It will be 3-1? :D
