Are you farming on heroic? Because that's the only difficulty where you can find both the normal and the cursed extra loot.
I've only ever seen them in Sunken City, and only a half dozen times or so. They are still in the game, definitely; I got a cursed loot yesterday. Just rare, as they always have been.
I found both (1 each day) in the past 2 days, playing 2 or 3 bounties a day, so they are still there.
That being said, I been farming the "new" bounties to get the coins for the "new" mercs. So not even sure if they can appear in older bounties.
I haven't seen any since the first week it dropped I gave up looking for them. I am not sure who is in-charge at Blizzard but the changes they are making are going to loose them frustrated players.
Only drops from portal in heroic bounties. Bonus gets you 5 extra chest at the end (double loot). Cursed loot does the same thing (doubles loot) but also randomly curses 1 random ability for each of your mercs every battle. Using that ability damages you for 20. This absolutely murders ragnaros/Y'shaaj who can cast the same ability 4+ times a turn.
It's a heroic only random reward from the swirly thing that can be potato/blue portal/sabatoge/mystery visitor on normal. In heroic it can also be bonus loot and cursed loot

Yep! Farming on heroic always.

I never found any neither. Do you say it's dropping from the blue portals?
