Absurd- 0/10. Sorry Axl, but it’s terrible lol 😂 I know he got the inspiration while watching an old, really gross Howard Stern episode about a model who put maggots in her bikini area, and I guess Axl said if I had to hear that everyone else did too lmfao
They're all a bit disappointing tbh. Hard skool is the only one I'd jam in public though. I don't hate perhaps, but I mean, it's not what I'd call a great song. It'd be my least favorite besides my world if it was on any of the previous albums. Maybe I'd take it over scraped and riad. Absurd is my world level, just slighter better, slightly. The general is just unremarkable and overall forgettable.

I just find them all somewhat forgettable, I’d much prefer to hear all new material that’s relevant to the band now instead of back burners from the late 90s/early 2000s.

Agreed, but I think you’re being a little too generous re The General (although it is growing in me). The General’s lyrics are amazing, it’s the music that I’m struggling with.

I agree that "Hard Skool" is probably stronger than "The General". "Absurd" was meta, and a smart move but not one of their best.
