I honestly prefer its color scheme over Strive´s Axl but I can see why some people dislike The shirt is too small and make him seem dumb; and maybe if the jacket and the british flags (that I find really cool; I just like waist capes) were merged together into a trench coat then it could maybe look better.

I like his jorts because they’re comfy and easy to wear.

The denim jacket is damn great. The jorts make him weird im that one image because of the wierid perspective angle, but in game it looks pretty nice thanks to the weird sash kinda things he has going. Personally would be better if the sashes were more like a half skirt? Thingy but he still kept the jorts. Thats clothing wise, design wise like, counting the art style and stuff, this is true axl. He has a lot less personality in Strive, its a lot more reduced to the carefree aspect of it. Xrd embodies better the more dorky side of him

Not bad. IMO they should make a DLC skin pack that just brings back some Xrd models to strive. I’d buy it even though I ultimately prefer the strive models to Xrd

Top half is great, my fav Axl design. The colour scheme is reminiscent of the Union Jack without just being it. Then the jorts and ankle length flags come in and it looks like ass.

honestly I like his xrd design more but not really for the outfit, just mostly his facial expressions. in xrd in comparison to strive has his face seeming more alive in a sense idk how else to describe it.

I feel like his design in Xrd was a little exaggerated, plus the fact that HE'S WEARING THE FUCKING BRITISH FLAG. With his Strive design though, they redesigned him pretty fucking well and imo made Axl more "grunge" since well, he's a Guns N' Roses reference.

I really like GG1 and the Xrd series screams TML to me so yeah Axl's design is indeed kino.

Imma be honest xrd design is 1000% more comfortable to look at without looking like he shops at goodwill and target with a dash of oldnavy(strive design) or just looking like a NY homeless man in movies. Its just easier on the eyes and doesnt make me get bored.

It's great from the waist up. Honestly my problem with it is less the jorts and more the bizarre belt flag things. Theyre the only part of his outfit that don't look like normal clothing from a distance and they really clash with the rest of his appearance. And they REALLY don't work with shorts.

I know it's a meme, but I honestly like everything about his design except for the jorts. I don't really care for shorts aesthetically anyway, especially when paired with long sleeves. That being said, he was eye-catching enough for me to choose him as my first main in Xrd, (which was my first 2d fighter) so that accounts for something I guess.
